is this the first time a JP release has gotten the album preview style of teaser like Korean releases?? The rollout of teasers for this album feel in line with our other albums so far, i’m liking it

I'm not going to lie, looking at all the different versions u can buy for kpop albums gives me a headache (I'm still new and not used to this) can someone just tell me which version I should buy that will give me all of the stuff, and if not all of the stuff, maybe most of the stuff? I live in the UK if that helps with linking the right place and thing to buy at all. so far I have bought with-youth, what is love album, IVE switch and Nayeon's new album and I tried to get the version that gives everything and I still don't even know if I bought the right version and since this one is not out yet I'm hoping with somebody's advice I can get the version I am looking for. fyi I read like a megathread on reddit about where to buy kpop albums but it didn't really help with getting me to know which version has all or most of the stuff, for example for the albums I have so far: with-youth came with 3 versions, what is love I think 2 or 3 versions, IVE switch 3 versions and for Nayeon's new come back I have not received it yet but what I got was from amazon and it says it comes with 3 versions. I wasn't sure if to make this a post or not but since this post is about the new album I thought maybe someone could help here. thank you in advance.

Getting all of the stuff will be a extremely expensive hobby because Kpop albums are purposely packaged in a way to be incomplete and randomized, so if you are looking to get everything it's suppose to come with, then you'll need to buy multiple copies of the same album. Same album as in the same type of format, even if there are multiple versions. Getting most of the stuff will be a lot easier to manage. Take Nayeon ABCD as a example and the number of inclusions, it comes with * Photobook (Standard Edition) = 8 items (10 for pre-ordering) * Nemo = 5 items * Digipack = 8 items * A to Z Limited Edition = 7 items Different format of the albums comes with different inclusions. Sometimes, the one with the most inclusion may not include the item you would like to have, while the one with the less stuff does, so always look at the album preview to see what it has before buying. As for is the album you bought the right version. There is no right or wrong version when it comes to buying them, as long as you're satisfied with your purchase, that's all it matters.

gintokisama1

thank you. using Nayeon's ABCD as an example, i bought the version that has ABC versions which each come with a seprate photobook, which seems to be a standard in kpop? i guess ill probably keep doing that for albums i guess? btw, i usually have not seen DVDs in kpop albums, is that a japanese album thing, im guessing it is.

iamblob321

Yes, it's pretty standard. Most Kpop albums tends to comes in different version just like Nayeon's ABCD. Each version has it's own unique concept, where some might have a hard time deciding which version to get, so they get all of them. But if you just like one concept out of the rest, just get that one, to save up, get something else you had in mind, or another album from another Kpop group you're interested in. For DVD's some had, but majority of them don't, and Twice Dive is their Japanese track, so it comes with a DVD. Not all version as show in the album preview does, just one of the versions.

gintokisama1

For Dive, I ended up buying the one that comes with DVD cause I think that's pretty cool, I wish that was common for kpop aswell. The pricing does confuse me tho, the price of 1 album version I bought was like similar to the 3 versions together I've been buying so far, I'm guessing maybe it's because this is preorder so the price drops after release, also I didn't see any sets up on amazon like I did for the other albums I bought.

bocomac

Guess I can't just get this one at Target

Daveuk121

Loving the once album cover, Mina and Sana solo too. I can't decide 🤔 ![img](emote|t5_3812p|4081) Does anyone know if Japan HMV will get same stock at HMV in The UK?

skylight03

Looks like they have another fansign event in November. This time I'll try to apply for a single member autograph session. With Hare Hare last time, even with 70 entries I didn't win the 9 member session lol.

dioscurideux

This is pretty, but I've set a boundary that I will only purchase Korean releases or I might go broke😭. The only exception being Misamo💕

Onpu

Same, I might see if I can pick them up second hand in a few years but I have to resist. If I start I'll have to complete the set! I only just caught up on all the Korean versions sans OT9 digipacks, individual member covers are the devil for my bank account lol

PandaDelights

new once here, but is this available to order for the US? i don’t know how this all works yet

CuriousMika

You can order it from online stores, eBay, Instagram stores, etc. but they will all be shipping from Japan and they don’t usually release physical copies like they do at stores in the us like Korean albums. But that doesn’t mean kpop specific stores won’t get some in, it’s just not as common!

tacobellisadrugfront

cdjapan is my favorite import site!

weeeewee

Quality for ants 😂

Altruistic_Ad_6538

Will these be sold in US at all or are they solely Japanese releases?

Onpu

Import stores might get them but these are releases designed for Japan. You can get them through trusted websites like CD Japan, YesAsia, or even Tower Records in Japan if you set up a free mailbox from Tenso and get it shipped to the mailbox, then you can just pay to ship it to you anywhere in the world :)

ahr0njahamez

Does anyone know where I could get this on release day in japan? I'm so happy that I will be traveling there when the album launches!

Quackles03

Lucky! I was in Japan last month and planned months ago when there was no info about DIVE yet, which is unfortunate. You can find their albums/kpop stuff in HMV or Tower Records branches. The Tower Records branch in Shibuya has a whole floor for kpop. I'm not sure if there are any store exclusives so you can check out both stores.

ahr0njahamez

Okay! Will definitely try hard to sneak in Tower Records in my itinerary since I will be with my family! ![img](emote|t5_3812p|4076)
