It's funny because I really dislike Colby but I think he is very good. Only people he doesnt beat easily on this list is Shavkat, Burns, Khamzat, Usman, and Edwards. But I think all of those would be very close/tough fights.
I've never seen someone who is so inactive but actually delivers when he does fight. Basically what I'm saying is I've lost a lot of money betting against Colby.
>I've never seen someone who is so inactive but actually delivers when he does fight.
As a leftist, he's easily my most hated fighter. That being said, his spirit and will to win is impressive as hell, the way he kept going against Usman despite getting battered like good piece of cod.
Edit: Oop, hogs angy. What are you going to do, coup my democratically elected government? Send right-wing paramilitary death squads after me?
“Git outta hear with ur logical take where u put personal pinion oside and have respekt 4 a fighter” - the response people who downvote this would have 😂
>Only ***person*** he doesnt beat easily on this list is Shavkat, Burns, Khamzat, Usman, and Edwards.
Who's Shavkat Burns Khamzat Usman Edwards? Is he a new mythical fighter?
Didn’t realise Luque was still in top 10, fair shout. The big issue is for Colby is his lack of striking power. He relies too much on his cardio and wrestling.
I’d be shocked if he beats Edwards.
I would not be shocked at all if the beats everyone in top 10, including Leon.
His striking is very underrated, he is not supposed to be a striker with big power, his striking does what it is supposed to, close the distance and mix it up with the takedowns plus overwhelm you with the volume of strikes and takedowns.
Colby is a very bad matchup for Leon.
Leon is an even worse matchup for Colby. Colby is so hittable and Leon is a phenomenal striker, with elite TDD and extremely good distance striking that complements his significant size advantage over Colby, and if Colby can close the distance without getting sniped, he’ll get sliced up with elbows and knees and probably get manhandled in the clinch.
It ain’t a good look calling everyone a casual because they disagree with you lol, especially when you can’t justify your opinion
Fair points but I just cant see Leon keeping up with the pace for 5 rounds. Leon has great TDD but you can take him down, specially when you chain wrestle like Colby does. Because of his size and the weight cut I see him fading away in the later rounds, specially with the pace Colby can push. Even if the defends the takedowns, it will tire him down.
Its an interesting matchup for sure, you can be absolutely correct but I feel Colby is getting disrispected too much, he is an elite fighter.
I second your opinion. Unless leon can keep the fight at distant like Izzy does(which he is the best at), i see colby overwhelming leon. Even with a broken jaw, judges will give a decision to colby
Yea it's ridiculous, Colby beats over half of the top 10...I understand people don't like him and he needs to be more active but it's insane to think he only beats 3 of them. I honestly believe his toughest fights would Chimaev, Rakhmonov, and Usman, I favor him against everyone else including Leon.
It’s not hypocritical at all. Leon is a low power, extremely technical striker who can outpoint you on the feet. Colby is a low power, sloppy, high output volume striker. With those opposing styles the advantage goes to Leon.
Lol…. Bro even a broken clock is right twice a day.
You see how you can only point out to 1 specific fight? Becusss it rarely happens.
7 Decisions, 1TKO, 1 Ko, 1 NC.
In his past 10.
Great power bro
lmao, you don’t think he beats Wonderboy? who gets taken down by every wrestler he fights? Burns, who’s shown a weakness to wrestlers with high output, Colby’s MO. Brady, who got obliterated by Belal and Luque who also got beat up by Belal
I think Wonderboy could catch him when striking. Burns has amazing BJJ, Belal and Khamzhat wanted to keep it standing.
I’ll give you Brady and Luque tho but Colby gotta remind us why he is good. He can put on the pace but his striking is weak
Colby's pace could be too much for Leon.
Usman doesn't push the pace like Colby does. Even if Leon defends well he could get overwhelmed. And Leon doesn't like fighting at a very high pace.
However, Leon is good at striking while moving backwards and he can catch and hurt Colby.
I think it's 50/50.
!remindme 1 year “did Colby win his next match against a top 10 opponent? Did he become the world champion, solidifying the fact that he is better in this weight class than every human being alive?”
Yea. You and I will get downvoted for it but imagine Alex moves to 205 and I say “Izzy lost to a guy unranked at 185”. It’s some odd logic.
Colby earned his position. He fought guys who were ranked at the time.
The issue is that he hasn’t maintained his position. So if the argument is he’s not active enough I agree but it’s obvious how he originally moved up the rankings.
Belal definitely deserves to be ahead in rankings now but it’s trivial. Colby is getting next shot regardless. Belal the one after.
Balel's best win is against Brady. Brady has terrible striking and still has a lot to work on to become a contender. Covington would probably beat Balel and deserves to be ranked ahead of him.
They would know who Conor McGregor is, he could stop fighting today and people will know who he is in 10 years. Look at his social media influence, he's up there with futbol stars, not to mention he crosses into boxing fandom as well. This is a totally inaccurate statement. Colby is a fly on the wall in popularity and influence compared to McGregor.
If you only started watching UFC 365 Days ago, you wouldn't have ever seen Jon Jones fight, and you'd hear people say he's washed up, lucky to have won his last fight, will get murdered if he ever fights at HW etc.
Not comparing Colby to Jones in the slightest, but it shows how your statement is kind of retarded
Remember when the ufc would a tally drop people in rankings? Now its like you lose and move down one or 0 spots.
Like ffsi miss the days of fresh blood in division and people rising to do the top. Not people having 4 straight losses or some shit and being in the top 10 still.
I dont remember when this shit started but I def remember before
THANK YOU. So many people perpetuate that bullshit. He wasn’t about to get cut. At worst, he was gonna get fucked money wise when he resigned, which still doesn’t explain why he adopted the personality the fight BEFORE the Maia fight.
That and the fact that he lives rent free in 90% of this subs mind. Can't stop talking about him and thinking about him. Seems a lot of guys actually have a little crush on him, and have resorted to grade school, playground tactics, like teasing him, to get his attention. That's plenty validation.
It’s because the UFC rankings are largely popularity based.
That’s why marquee fighters can remain ranked in a division without getting wins in a weight class for several years (see Conor remaining ranked at 155 for a long time despite only ever having one win in the division).
It also happens occasionally during weeks where there isn’t a fight in a specific weight class, yet rankings still change. That’s usually where a more popular fighter moves up past lesser known names for no justifiable reason.
Wrong.
It was a sanctioned slap battle. Just because you didn’t see her sign the contract doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.
Stop making shit up just cos you dislike the guy.
And y’all don’t think Dana has a favorite who also happens to be a hoorrah American who is republican like him? Not to get political but this seems a bit odd?
Just made a post, not sure if it will get to stay up, so I will make a comment too;
If Colby gets this shot without at least one fight against a top 5 WW contender, preferably not on a losing streak, he will be getting his 4th title shot in 7 fights in 5 years. Here is a breakdown of Colby's career over the last 5 years;
* Record of 4-2
* Colby's last win over a top 5 WW was RDA on June 9th, 2018, 5 years ago
* Colby's wins over Woodley, Lawler, and Masvidal all come off of them on losing streaks.
* Lawler and RDA are the only ones Colby has beaten that are still in the UFC even.
* Colby is younger, higher ranked, and less fights than all of the people he's beaten
* Colby has lost twice to Usman. Usman has lost twice to the current champion, Leon Edwards
* Colby is claiming a brain injury from the Masvidal assault which should mean that no governing body should even sanction him to fight.
* If Colby gets this shot, in the last 5 years he will have fought for the belt every other fight. Nobody else is getting that many opportunities especially when they are this inactive
Belal Muhammad, Khamzat Chimaev (if he can make weight), and Shavkat Rakhmonov all have a better claim at a title shot than Colby. Colby should have to fight at least one of them before getting an opportunity. Being a backup fighter for Usman vs. Edwards should not guarantee him a title shot. He should have been fighting on that card for a #1 contender match.
Shavkat record since May 2018 9-0, 5-0 UFC since October 2020
Chimaev record since May 2018 12-0, 6-0 UFC since July 2020
Belal record since June 2018 10-1-1, NC is with Leon Edwards, decision loss to Neal back in January 2019
The only possible way that Colby gets a legitimate title shot over any of these 3 is if there is provable evidence that Colby has been willing to fight top 5 contenders and they have been ducking him.
Without that evidence it just appears the UFC is giving him massive favors for no discernable reason. Covington fights do not sell well enough to justify completely throwing away the integrity of a division.
At no point am I arguing that Colby can't win by the way. I am arguing he hasn't done enough compared to the other top contenders in his weight class to get a title shot over them.
And I get down voted when I say UFC is going to become the new WWE. How about that whole let's bring out o malley for some cage side in better than you's. That'll get the crowd.
Colby has fought once a year since 2020 and has yet to fight in 2023. In the last four years, his only Ws are vs two over the hill fighters in woodley and masvidal. Not sure why this guy is being given a title shot.
Colby has to have some sort of dirt on the top brass at UFC including Dana. I mean how the fuck is he that high and still gets title shots after being inactive for so long. He's not even a Conor level draw so why is he getting so much favouritism is beyond me. Belal deserves the next shot, 100%.
No but it’s an identifiable demographic that people can hate on. And from what I can tell, all the Muslim fighters got booed on Saturday after putting on great fights. So I’d dare to venture that UFCs demographic, is in fact against Muslims, which is weird to say despite Khabibs popularity when he was active.
You people are delusional about Colby Covington, just because you don’t like him doesn’t mean he’s not a good fighter. I can’t wait for you all to be in tears when he beats Leon.
All sports are in the entertainment business but you don't have Roger Goodell deciding that it would be a better draw if the team that lost the conference championship got to go to the Super Bowl.
If you want to pretend to be a real sport, with athletic commissions, rankings, drug testing, etc., then wins and losses matter. You can say any condescending shit you want about me not "understanding the business" or whatever else... it doesn't really matter... in "real" sports, winning matters more than popularity.
Dana shouldn’t have announced Colby getting the title shot so quickly. i was OK with the Colby shot initially, but things change fast in mma. But by giving the other contenders these matchups, there really isn’t an argument anymore for Colby getting the shot. Regardless of Colby’s inactivity, Before ufc could say that none of the other top contenders had a win over another contender. Now belal is on a better win streak, has been more active AND has the more impressive recent win.
Belal should get it next, But Dana already said Colby. I don’t think he’ll want to walk that back now
Omg Belal is 23-3 and on a 9 fight win streak? That’s how rankings work is it? So why is Shavkat not number 1? He’s on a 17 fight win streak and is undefeated.
It’s because that’s not how rankings work. Colby is and has been a top 2 contender for like 4 years now and is next in line for the title. Nobody really cared until he got the title shot. Usman lost to the champion and stayed top 2 (which is deserved) and you guys don’t care either. Let’s stop pretending a win streak matters. Plenty of guys get title shots on a 1 fight win streak or less. It really doesn’t matter. The ranking matters and the win streak can help your ranking somewhat it’s not really correlated though.
You’re right, let’s ignore win streaks and focus on relevant wins. How many currently ranked welterweights has Colby beat? Belal has beat 4 currently ranked welterweights.
How you do against other ranked fighters should literally be how rankings work.
Guy would absolutely murder you and anyone in this thread in a fight tho. I enjoyed watching him, he’s technical, precise, not flashy, and absolutely demolished burns in the stand up.
Of course he would murder me. He outweighs me by at least 50 pounds. Btw don't deflect the issue. Guy is boring af and will not sell hence the lack of a title shot but I do hope they give him one soon so that his annoying fans (like you) will shut up and he fades to obscurity when he eventually loses to Edwards.
Like good fighters who are warriors and not showman makes me an annoying fan? My bad for enjoying pure athleticism and fighting ability instead of being an annoying cunt like Colby.
The UFC is a business. I watch fights to be entertained. I also competed before so I know what it feels like to be punched in the face and strangled close to death.
It does because you guys think everyone else who doesn't appreciate Belal thinks he's unskilled. I know he's skilled, I know he's good. I just think he's so frickin boring.
Didn’t know throwing absolute bombs for kicks made someone boring? Do you dislike him cause his Muslim, or is it cause he’s not grappling? Is he boring cause there’s no controversy around him like Colby? I’m trying to figure out what makes a skilled, dominant fighter boring when his match last Saturday was nothing but action
I guarantee you were never strangled close to death. Stop with the fucking histrionics. Apparently you don’t know how long it takes after you pass out to die, and want to seem hardcore when like the person you are responding to said most of us have trained, so your statement reads bullshit. “Close to death” is a line you use to try to impress bitches you are trying to pick up.
Cut the cake how you want it, but it’s hilarious that Belal and this sub fully understand what the issue is and how rankings seem to work (whether you agree or not, you are aware) yet still do the exact same thing, make no changes, and still cry. I question Belal’s IQ and business/marketing strategy far more than his talent. Doing the same thing over and over and over and expecting a different result……….
The fuck are u talking about? Belal has literally marketed himself since the leon fight. He didn’t even get a countdown for his last 5 round co main. Belal has fought short notice, hyped prospects and is now on a 9 fights win streak. I’m not a fan of any one person but i do watch the entire aport closely. You don’t.
Bela "couldnt finish a one armed burns" Muhammad
Belal "Nobody pays to watch his fights" Muhammad
Belal "Never says something remotely interesting" Muhammad
This guy is a good fighter with excellent conditioning and gameplan. The only fight I'd love to see him in is Colby. As they have the same qualities(sort of).
Both amazing gas tanks
Both decent fight iq(belal slightly better)
Both ok striking(colby slightly better)
So let's all hope colby beats leon
Wierd. People were swearing up and down it was just a bad angle. Threw it with no visible sign of injury too. Might be the horsemeat belals ugly ass is on tho.
Good try kiddo
Yeah this is a real shame, it shows that there is no official ladder or that the rankings have any real meaning whatsoever. UFC isn't a league or a competitive set of divisions, they're simply an organizer of exhibition matches.
Would love to see a fight league bring out an ELO system.
I just hope, if Colby beats Leon, that Dana actually sticks to his word and gives Belal his title shot and doesn’t try to set up Conor/Colby or some such nonesense.
Give me Belal - Leon for the title and feed Colby to Chimaev or Shavkat. Colby obviously hates this but anyone with a brain knows he doesn’t deserve a title fight
I'm not a big fan of Colby, but the rankings seem fair. He knows how to pick his fights. He has only fought people ranked #2-3 and above, hence why he keeps his position.
Out of the three people who deserve this shot more than Colby (Belal, Shavkat, Khamzat) I think Belal is the one who should get it.
I think Colby needs to fight Shavkat or Khamzat before getting another shot. I want to see him actually beat someone who is on a current win streak and in the top 5.
It's disgraceful that the ranking committee still has Belal below Usman and Colby despite his efforts. Colby shouldn't even be holding on to his top 5 spot with his poor level of activity and opponent selection.
Beating burns puts him ahead of masvidal but still behind usman, leon and colby he basnt beat anyone on that list and hasnt beat anyone that beat them.
Colby is the most over rated fighter I’ve ever seen in my life. I guarantee you the only person he will fight in the top 15 is wonderboy. He will lose to Leon then retire because ufc won’t give him wonderboy, if he’s even still on the roster by then.
Belal is the definition of drilling fundamentals ..not flashy by any means but his technical skills are unmatched. Super well rounded. A wrestler yet mostly fights standing, not to mention those punishing kicks to the body. He's a great fighter whether you like him or not.
After Robbie Lawler inevitably retires soon… Colby’s only win in the past 6 years over a non-retired fighter will be 155er RDA. 🤣
Colby should be more active, I don’t think he beats anyone on top 10.
Whilst I agree that he should be more active, I strongly disagrees with the latter.
It's funny because I really dislike Colby but I think he is very good. Only people he doesnt beat easily on this list is Shavkat, Burns, Khamzat, Usman, and Edwards. But I think all of those would be very close/tough fights. I've never seen someone who is so inactive but actually delivers when he does fight. >as a leftist Dude, no one cares.
Dude, get fucked.
Dude, stop dragging politics into everything and touch grass.
No dick, no problem.
I fucking shuddered
Bold to assume any of these idiots know about the historical events you're referring to 😂
“Git outta hear with ur logical take where u put personal pinion oside and have respekt 4 a fighter” - the response people who downvote this would have 😂
right-wing paramilitary death squads? Get out of your Y. A. Novel fantasy land.
You really don't know shit, do you?
I know that you need to get off internet echo chambers and touch grass.
Ah, regurgitating the defacto insult of the day like a fucking imbecile parrot are we?
The Projection is strong with this one.
>Only ***person*** he doesnt beat easily on this list is Shavkat, Burns, Khamzat, Usman, and Edwards. Who's Shavkat Burns Khamzat Usman Edwards? Is he a new mythical fighter?
Who do you think he beats in top 10? Brady, Wonderboy at a push?
Luque, Brady & Wonderboy. I do think Colby has a good chance of winning against those three.

Edwards isn’t known for his power tho, Hypocrites lol

Lol…. Bro even a broken clock is right twice a day. You see how you can only point out to 1 specific fight? Becusss it rarely happens. 7 Decisions, 1TKO, 1 Ko, 1 NC. In his past 10. Great power bro
I think JDM might be a wildly entertaining fight looking outside the top 10
Yep, that dos mantos kid looks promising
That’s why he’s not active. His schtick will be up.
lmao, you don’t think he beats Wonderboy? who gets taken down by every wrestler he fights? Burns, who’s shown a weakness to wrestlers with high output, Colby’s MO. Brady, who got obliterated by Belal and Luque who also got beat up by Belal

Colby could def beat a few people in the Top 10. Hell I think he gives Leon a lot of trouble if not wins personally but I guess we will see.
You will be so disappointed when he beats Leon for the belt. 😂
I will eat humble pie if he beats Leon but there is no chance it happens.
Another ignorant fuck who knows nothing about fighting.
Cry more, if Colby proves me wrong I will gladly eat humble pie but I just don’t see it.
Colby would beat belal, He barely got by 1 handed Gilbert
Colby's the best in the world.
And he's still getting a title shot instead of belal and is ranked higher 😂 You gotta love the UFC, they really don't give two shits about him.
Shouldn't it matter more what rank the opponent was at the time of the fight instead of years later?
Yea. You and I will get downvoted for it but imagine Alex moves to 205 and I say “Izzy lost to a guy unranked at 185”. It’s some odd logic. Colby earned his position. The only two people who made money using their mouth are Colby and Tito's ex wife
Thats was a nasty line by you
I'm going to beat you to a living death
Well just to correct you it was never no marriage.. You’re a fucking punk dude
We lived in sin!
Thats what you call class?
If someone just started watching ufc in the last 365 days, they would have no idea who colby covington is.
They'd have no idea who Conor McGregor is either. And they'd think Jon Jones had a decent debut.
I was about to say the same: You can just start watching UFC but be fully aware who Conor Mcgregor is. You can’t say that about Colby.
Uhh he stopped fighting a long time ago lol
Well yeah but this post is about colby covington.
![gif](giphy|KHbcY646C40gzBUodr|downsized)
I mean they talk about him and show him a lot
Well yeah but one step outside of what the ufc feeds us and you just hear everyone call him a clown.
Me, I never saw him fight live lol. I know who he is because I have been immersed in MMA since I started...
Colbi Covington? Never heard of him. I really like that guy who just beat Gilbert Burns, I can't ever seem to remember his name though.
Remember when the ufc would a tally drop people in rankings? Now its like you lose and move down one or 0 spots. Like ffsi miss the days of fresh blood in division and people rising to do the top. Not people having 4 straight losses or some shit and being in the top 10 still. I dont remember when this shit started but I def remember before
This guy is the proof that marketability is more important than accomplishments.
He’s not even marketable. He’s just friends with Dana.
Crazy… the whole reason he started the character was because his “friend” Dana was gonna cut him despite his 7-1 record at the time
Imagine what a bland piece of shit you need to be to almost be cut with a win streak lol.
Remarkable belal hasn’t got cut for that exact reason 😂
He was never getting cut lol its a blatant lie. Fighters about to get cut don't get a mainevent spot in Brazil vs damian maia
THANK YOU. So many people perpetuate that bullshit. He wasn’t about to get cut. At worst, he was gonna get fucked money wise when he resigned, which still doesn’t explain why he adopted the personality the fight BEFORE the Maia fight.
Crazy it’s almost like a lot can happen in 7 years time
Exactly and it continues to validate to him that becoming a heel and doing his schtick works
That, and the UFC coddling him.
That and the fact that he lives rent free in 90% of this subs mind. Can't stop talking about him and thinking about him. Seems a lot of guys actually have a little crush on him, and have resorted to grade school, playground tactics, like teasing him, to get his attention. That's plenty validation.
How tf is colby number 2? ![gif](giphy|3oEjI67Egb8G9jqs3m)
Just look at reddit threads prior to Belal vs Gilbert. So many were taking Colbys side.
Cause number too stands for poo

There never was no marriage contract
You’re a fucking catchweight, dude.
And y’all don’t think Dana has a favorite who also happens to be a hoorrah American who is republican like him? Not to get political but this seems a bit odd?
Its unfortunate that the UFC is a business rather than an actual sport based on merit and competition
Ooh I like clicking on a post and legit every comment thread is collapsed with negative downvotes lmao
Mention Colby without glowing praise and expect his toxic fanbase to show up
Love watching Colby fight but he doesn’t do that anymore. Literally the longest break. Got to give it to Belal.
Just made a post, not sure if it will get to stay up, so I will make a comment too; If Colby gets this shot without at least one fight against a top 5 WW contender, preferably not on a losing streak, he will be getting his 4th title shot in 7 fights in 5 years. Shavkat record since May 2018 9-0, 5-0 UFC since October 2020 Chimaev record since May 2018 12-0, 6-0 UFC since July 2020 Belal record since June 2018 10-1-1, NC is with Leon Edwards, decision loss to Neal back in January 2019 The only possible way that Colby gets a legitimate title shot over any of these 3 is if there is provable evidence that Colby has been willing to fight top 5 contenders and they have been ducking him.
Yeah I said the same thing when they brought O'Malley out. They also had the Moreno Figuredo WWE moment after the Moreno vs Kai Kara France fight.
Even as a belal hater, can't maneuver this, colby shouldn't be 2nd at all, he's solely there cuz he runs his mouth instead of his hands
He’s made a fighting career off of shit politics
As someone who doesn't like Belal, even I'll admit he has been the most deserving of a title shot.
What a joke lol
Dana is making this sport a joke by promoting his butt buddy Colby over a true fighter and then denying a championship fight… 🤦♂️
I fell asleep just reading about Remember the Decision
But he's BORING why don't you people understand that
Because he is boring its not only about skill haha
And Colby isn’t? Colby inside the cage is basically Belal.
Im talking about on the mic
SOMEONE'S THREE HAS GOT TO FLEE!
Belal gets the next title shot . Usman Vs Khazmat and Colby gotta fight someone instead of holding out
Why do ppl keep saying Belal is on a 9 fight win streak ? He’s not… he has a no contest in the middle … streak implies in a row
How the fuck does khamzat go down 1 and Colby stays the same? Atp you can’t deny Belal is #2
I fucking say we collectively stream the Colby pay per view to prove to Dana that he’s a washed up and can’t bring in the money.
Yeah but Colby cut weight to be the back up to Usman Edward III. So it’s justified. -Dana White
Belal talking a lot of smack for a dude that got big brothered hard by Edwards
Belal is literally the only fighter on the entire UFC roster that could manifest my temporary support for Colby Covington.
Is the UFC racist against Muslims?
Is muslim a race?
No but it’s an identifiable demographic that people can hate on. And from what I can tell, all the Muslim fighters got booed on Saturday after putting on great fights. So I’d dare to venture that UFCs demographic, is in fact against Muslims, which is weird to say despite Khabibs popularity when he was active.
Hey brother. Have you tried thinking? It takes a little practice but I know you can get there. Try it.
Well I’m a doctor so

People keep bringing up Colby and his upcoming title shot but I’m not seeing post daily about Sean O’Malley who’s in a very similar position.
Shavkat has only beaten magny and neal as ranked dudes, not even top 10. Pointless example. Colby is top 2 simply bealcause he's danas boy
Shavkat is not 17-0 in ufc though and doesn’t have 17 fight win streak in ufc neither, genius
Dude i see you on every thread sucking colbys dick chill out damn
Belal is boring. Period. Guy doesn't sell tickets, is frickin fugly, and is a cringey religious guy. People don't even care that he won.
I think most of us fans train in some form but that has nothing to do with what I’m talking about.
Ok. You got me there. I was trying to impress chicks like you. Sorry it didn't work.
hahaha that’s what you get for having non exciting fight style and boring ass personality
You're talking about Colby right? The decision machine and the guy who lost to Usman twice?

You don’t.
Bela "couldnt finish a one armed burns" Muhammad Belal "Nobody pays to watch his fights" Muhammad Belal "Never says something remotely interesting" Muhammad This guy is a good fighter with excellent conditioning and gameplan. The only fight I'd love to see him in is Colby. As they have the same qualities(sort of). Both amazing gas tanks Both decent fight iq(belal slightly better) Both ok striking(colby slightly better) So let's all hope colby beats leon
Jon “couldn’t finish a no legged Santos” Jones What a bum amirite
Jones fucked up santos’ knees in the fight Burns came in injured Big difference kiddo
Blahal also came in injured Burns was injured during the fight after a stuffed takedown Jones still couldn’t finish a man with no legs Try again kiddo
Wierd. People were swearing up and down it was just a bad angle. Threw it with no visible sign of injury too. Might be the horsemeat belals ugly ass is on tho. Good try kiddo
Horsemeat Blahal is Cuckingtons’s worst nightmare The man is terrified 🥶🥶🥶
I hope so. I could give af ab either of them tbh. Leon starches both of them imo
Did I say he was a bum? Can you even read? I implied that he is boring as fuck, but he is a decent fighter...
Maybe he’s just trying to be like Jones. Goats emulating Goats
Jones is by no means a boring fighter lol
Unbeaten streak He didn't beat Leon
He didn’t lose the fight either although was losing up to 👉👁️
Why are you posting fan tweets
Colby is just that good

Yeah this is a real shame, it shows that there is no official ladder or that the rankings have any real meaning whatsoever. UFC isn't a league or a competitive set of divisions, they're simply an organizer of exhibition matches. Would love to see a fight league bring out an ELO system.
Khamzat and belal should be ahead of colby and kamaru
Idk why Colby doesn’t fight more, he’s still very elite
I just hope, if Colby beats Leon, that Dana actually sticks to his word and gives Belal his title shot and doesn’t try to set up Conor/Colby or some such nonesense.
People talking about ranks as though it matters is exactly what Uncle Dana wants.
It seems like Chimaev is now a fulltime babysitter and instagram influencer. Is he even a fighter anymore?
He fights more than Colby.
Give me Belal - Leon for the title and feed Colby to Chimaev or Shavkat. Colby obviously hates this but anyone with a brain knows he doesn’t deserve a title fight
Colby should be dropped to unranked cuz of him not fighting, ever. Probably gonna get his ass smacked anyway, after that he can dissappear
As a Colby fan Belal deserves the spot way fucking more lol His last win was over Jorge and b4 that Woodley
Colby shouldn't even be holding on to his top 5 spot with his poor level of activity and opponent selection.
poor gilbert took a tumble after a quick turnaround
Beating burns puts him ahead of masvidal but still behind usman, leon and colby he basnt beat anyone on that list and hasnt beat anyone that beat them.
title made me notice that belal and sterling are both 23-3 on 9 fight win streaks
Belal needs win over RDA to equal Colby.
Does Colby even pull some views?
Colby is the most over rated fighter I’ve ever seen in my life. I guarantee you the only person he will fight in the top 15 is wonderboy. He will lose to Leon then retire because ufc won’t give him wonderboy, if he’s even still on the roster by then.
Belal is the definition of drilling fundamentals ..not flashy by any means but his technical skills are unmatched. Super well rounded. A wrestler yet mostly fights standing, not to mention those punishing kicks to the body. He's a great fighter whether you like him or not.
