That distance management that all the next level strikers have is fucking uncanny. How his face doesn’t even flinch at aljos lunging punch because he just knows it can’t hit him. Such a thing of beauty.
Super cool to see. I remember seeing a slo-mo of Conor countering Eddie Alvarez where Conor didn't flinch at Eddie's glove grazing his nose before throwing
McGregor himself said he lost his mind in the process of becoming successful.
He referred to the Van Gogh quote:
“I put my heart and my soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process.“
Granted he may not be Van Gogh level but at least McGregor hasn’t cut his ear off yet
Not to mention the masterpiece that is the Aldo fight and it’s build up. Might be the best example of psychological warfare I’ve ever seen. Had him broken before the bell even rang
Well said. It wasn't weird to see as it was happening during his era because he walked the walk, but now it's like someone took his place and is impersonating him
Cocaine, fame and losses will do that to you. Same happened to Ronda Rousey. As soon as people figured out how to defend her judo throw into armbar and she was no longer a champ, she lost motivation, quit the UFC and moved to fake wrestling for $$$. I don't blame her, but she tried to stay in the UFC a bit, but it was clear not being champ broke her. It was her identity.
Some people are just like that. Absolutely nothing going on behind their eyes 90% of the time, but once they're doing their thing, they turn into a literal wizard. In my experience, it's mostly sports stuff.
Had a guy on my HS basketball team who was a few fries short of a Happy Meal in day to day life. Genuinely struggled with some of the most basic life stuff. But as soon as he stepped onto the court, he turned into some kind of mix of Steph Curry and Rain Man. He drilled with the same energy as Khabib's wrestling camps. Uncanny court awareness. Could drain a 3 pointer from almost anywhere.
He ended up not having the grades to play in college, and I believe he's working at an auto parts store. I played pickup with him at the Y a couple years after we graduated, and somehow he was even better. What a ridiculous guy, love you Donny.
I watched it like 50 times. The fact that everything from O‘Malley checking the distance until the punch lands happens in like 1,5 seconds is fucking amazing.
Absolutely, I was amazed that Aljo had his fist end right in front of Sean but Sean didn’t even fucking flinch. He knew he was safe, it’s just beautiful. Which, in a way, makes it more beautiful than Conor vs Aldo. Although Conor’s shot had more power behind it. Either way, the striking of these professionals is amazing to behold.
You get used to keeping your eyes open as shots are coming towards you. You really gotta practice not blinking and/or flinching at shots coming at you.
Because when that happens everything is moving so fast that you won’t get your counter off if you blink, and you won’t see where the guy has gone as some people will switch to a different angle after throwing a shot.
I got out of the habit with enough sparring, just got accustomed to it so now I’m a lot better at countering then I was because I’m not shying away from getting hit.
I know people will do drills for it as well, but it’s pretty crucial if you ever want to have any skill at all in striking.
Saw a Thai video where a guy was struggling with it so they filled a barrel with water and had him punching down into it with his face close by so he could practice keeping his eyes open as the water splashed up at him.
Thought that was a cool way of training out the blink reflex.
I think on paper this is much better than Conor’s cuz Conor got hit and he didn’t. But Conor’s on a major scale was soooooooo much bigger and had such a wild effect. This is still so fucking beautiful tho. I prefer this
What was beter than the conor ko? Aljo winning against retired/injured guys to defend his title or by technicalities. Aldo ruled his division for a decade and got ko’d in the first round with 1 hit, these two fights are nothing alike and I’m going to get downvoted into oblivion but saying that the aljo tko is better is just being ignorant of past performances because they were performed by a fighter you don’t like
Agreed; the speed Cory possess and refined is so frightening, there’s a brief section in the Rob Font fight where Rob attempts to stand up and Cory closes the distance and rushes with a piss missile of a left hand in quite literally the blink of an eye. Can see him shooting a knee directly up the middle at Merab
Yan fight he did very well.
Horrible gameplan from aljo tbh. Grapple this guy, you stupid? … then we hear he didn’t train any wrestling for weeks. He’s gonna be sick lol
Genuine question. What do you think he was doing in this finishing sequence? Was he not throwing a shot to close distance for a level change? Because I thought that was obvious.
Yep. He was doing that the whole fight actually, trying to force Sean's back to the cage so he could initiate the clinch and force grappling exchanges. Only problem is that Sean counters and moves laterally very well. The only success Aljo had on that front was when he went in for a single leg.
Wrestlers usually try to force their opponent to the cage to secure the takedown. I assume Aljo was throwing punches to get Sean closer to the cage so he could shoot a takedown, but underestimated Sean's distance management and timing.
I think he was fully committed to the lunging straight. He used his last 2 single leg attempts as bait.
What’s funny is Suga’s coach even said in the break that they’re chillin because Aljo has to press to get in
It should be obvious, I'm convinced the people here that think that Aljo, world champion and top 5 BW of all-time, just would run into a shot because he's just fucking stupid need to try and understand the sport they watch a little bit better
I don't know why you guys say this without Wrestling experience, you can't just grapple people, ESPECIALLY when they know you're trying to grapple. Even the greatest grappler we have ever seen in Khabib literally always had to work with the strikes until they loosen up.
Yeah, I was kinda confused as to what he was saying. Aljo was trying to grapple, he certainly wasn't looking for a standup fight. That was why he spent half the fight back pedaling to try and get Sean to leap in and give up a takedown.
He knew, even though a lot of fans didn't, that he would get outclassed on the feet but he felt he could dominate the ground. He just never got a chance because he got KO'd.
Also anytime someone fights a wrestler their main focus is keeping their back to the center of the octagon. These people do not understand how hard it is to land a takedown in the middle of the octagon. You can't just shoot double legs all willy nilly.
The responses are insane. You’re 100% right. Grappling isn’t like a video game where you just press “take down.” Sean - and everyone watching - knew what Aljo was trying to do and that makes it really fucking hard
Is he stupid?
Fr though, Aljo had a good gameplan and tried to wrestle. He won the first round with strong low kicks.
His problem was that he sold too easily on feints and had no success backing Sean up against the fence.
For sure, the legs kicks would bank in round 2-4. But you just gotta not bite on literally every feint imaginable. Jesus Christ I thought the overreactions were playing into takedown attempts or something when I was watching. I’m not surprised by Sean being able to connect, but I thought he was gonna have to stay calm and get to those spots first.
Like he said cejudo couldn’t keep him off. But the range really helped Sean. He’s long and fast. TD defense is underrated but a super tough guy with good ground game is his one loss, maybe next rematch. Scary how despite the bullshit that is Garry and everyone mentioning conor 24/7, how this fight went down was pretty similar to the aldo one.
Na aljo got frustrated tried to bully O'Malley..he got reckless.
I think the game plan was in round 1 keep distance chew the leg. Cause if aljo stuck to he'd probably have a different outcome.
Yeah I normally am low key "if they die they die", but Aljos head bounched off the canvas 8-15 straight times near completely undefended. I will credit he WAS still moving and flailing, but it wasnt 1 or 2 hammer fists then stop, it was near 10 straight. Not baby strikes either, FULL overhead SLAMMING down.
Even fucking Joe Rogan was bitching about the stoppage at first. He was all “he was still moving, I’m not sure why he stopped it?” Like gee Joe, does the guy need to be fucking dead for the red to stop it? Should we change your name to Mario? Sterling was getting bombed on and turned away with no active defense for numerous punches being landed. Joe and the other announcers all irritate the shit outa me sometimes.
Aljo is a good dude man, sucks to see the way he was treated after winning the belt by DQ (I admit, I talked some shit myself) but at the end of the day he defended the damn belt. Sean just had his number, cotton candy braids has had next for a minute now
As a suga show fan,Aljo was trying to play the bad guy for this fight , but he definitely isn’t that type of dude. Glad to see that after the fight much respect for that
More people might want to see him lose now. I was holding out hating on him too much for that cringey ass beef he drummed up but to see him doubling down on it post fight…hope Wonderboy avenges his NMF brother in a highlight manner.
Dude's been playing the long game, improving both his brand as well as his skillset. I'm still sad for Aljo being hated on, but give Suga props where its due, he made it.
Holy fuck it seems like just yesterday when people were saying "ill wait until he fights an actual ranked opponent" and here we are today. Unbelievable.
You don’t need to do anything bro. People are low level scum their all lives. But if you want and are willing to put in the effort you can reach whatever your goal is king
I rememeber watching him in 2020 (when i really got into ufc) and thinking this dude has that 'it' factor. I don't have a very good trained eye for MMA but i could tell he was different. His injury was a real buzzkill but he finally got there.
You can always tell by the eyes. Even when the body language looks like there's still a fight, the ref is there to protect the brain and the eyes are a dead giveaway. Sterling went out, his eyes were closed and when they opened he was almost completely out of it and barely recognized what was going on. Good stoppage to protect long term health, reminds me of Izzy v Pereira 1.
I laughed out loud when rogan mentioned that. Also rlly got punched on the ground like 12 times without defending or pulling guard and he thinks it was an early stoppage?
It was a fine stoppage, like Alex vs Izzy or Henry vs Tj. The type where I could understand it going on a little longer to see if Aljo can rebound but I'm not gonna argue with Goddard here.
Always looking for a reason to hate on both these men. I don't understand it. Sean literally goes to game tournaments, wins, and gives the money to charity. He also bought a bunch of kids shoes for christmas. Aljo got kneed in the head and didn't ask for the belt, but got it. Then he defended it when not one person thought he would so they hated him more. His post fight speech was super classy and both of these men deserve hespect
First to admit I thought Sean would just get grapple fucked for 25 mins in a boring as shit defence from Aljo, that right hand was slick, great fight.
It was good to hear Aljo acknowledge he got caught and that if Sean caught him like that Volk would do terrible things to him. Volk has a way better feint game than Sean and I'm going to go out on a limb and say Volk hits a lot harder than Sean as well.
Volk’s striking and Sean’s striking are very different and very good in their own ways. Volk’s a much more rounded fighter but I certainly wouldn’t say he has a better feint game than Sean.
You can literally put a freeze frame of that clip vs the KO and it's IDENTICAL
[side by side](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/016/212/manning.png)
Chito didn’t fight Sandhagen, Sandhagen beat his ass for 5 rounds lmao. The only reason Chito should jump Sandhagen or Merab is if both are injured. Chito’s win over O’Malley is like Connors win over Max and Dustin, irrelevant. O’Malley did something that Yan, Sandhagen couldn’t do lol
Cory demolished Chito. Id rather Aljo immediate rematch, Merab vs Chito, and then Cory vs winner of Aljo and Suga or Merab vs Chito.
Cory is going to be out until March.
I just don't know why Aljo did that. Not to be like "is he stupid?" but I was thinking while watching like why are you going toward him like that? Should've butt scooted probably.
He likes to throw punches like that and then shoot for takedowns. He just wanted to get Sean going backwards to try to wrap him up, but he did like the Tier 1 worst thing to do against a striker as accurate and good of a counter puncher as Sean. I thought this fight would end one of two ways, Sean getting body locked for 5 rounds or aljo doing something dumb and getting shadow realmed
Judging by the position of his left leg after he threw the strike, i'd say he was trying to close distance to shoot for another takedown. Textbook technique to force you opponent to wrestle. He didn't expect suga to generate so much power in that angle of strike, while also moving backwards. Crazy technique from O´malley
Its crazy to me that punch basically just guaranteed Sean will earn millions and millions of dollars over the coming next few fights. I was hoping he would win but wasnt sure if he could pull it off. I thought the fight would last longer. At first I thought it was a little bit of an early stoppage since Aljo was still moving around and trying to defend, but after watching the replay a few times its clear he is taking massive shots to the head and his head is bouncing off th floor so ya totally a fair stoppage, he doesnt need anymore brain damage this fight
Not saying it's your case, but a lot of people saw the hair and general goofiness of Sean, and let that rub them the wrong way and become willfully blind of his talent. If you saw him fight with an objective eye before Yan, then saw him rise to the occasion for Yan, you *had* to know he wasn't some pushover whatsoever.
That was as perfect a gameplan as you could’ve had and executed against backpack aljo. Sit right outside of shooting distance, throw and feign the front kick down the middle to make him second shooting from too far, circle off the cage, and just wait until he overextends or lunged, then counter. God damn that was pretty as fuck
Been saying it since I saw him first fight. He’s easy to hate if you just see the hair and shit, but Sean is the real deal and he’s entertaining as fuck.
Incredible
Sean’s striking is so sharp and accurate it’s impressive how he hits people, his striking is genuinely up there with prime Conor and I don’t think he’s even in his prime yet
How are people whining that’s an early stoppage? I fucking hate O’Malley but there’s no way that was an early stoppage.. if anything it was later than it should’ve been.
Great finish, great stoppage. Also was rolling onto his front and was about to eat nothing but shots to the head if that continued.
Both were fairly classy post fight too. Good stuff.
High level striking is beautiful, these guys know it to the absolute inch
It’s so wild to see the way connor acts then think about the amount of shear talent and precision that exists somewhere in that brain
McGregor himself said he lost his mind in the process of becoming successful. He referred to the Van Gogh quote: “I put my heart and my soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process.“ Granted he may not be Van Gogh level but at least McGregor hasn’t cut his ear off yet
That Eddie Alvarez performance was as high level as it gets. Pretty Van-goghesque in its nature joe.
Not to mention the masterpiece that is the Aldo fight and it’s build up. Might be the best example of psychological warfare I’ve ever seen. Had him broken before the bell even rang
Van-goghesque is a crazy looking word
Well said. It wasn't weird to see as it was happening during his era because he walked the walk, but now it's like someone took his place and is impersonating him

Shades of Anderson Silva vs Forrest Griffin with the non-reaction
![gif](giphy|1mssFpSnWklEmXxHSL)
>Anderson Silva vs anyone\* Guy was fighting like agod
You’re right
I watched it like 50 times. The fact that everything from O‘Malley checking the distance until the punch lands happens in like 1,5 seconds is fucking amazing.
And a super fast as fuck response with big power, its unreal.
Probably trained with someone with the exact same reach to gain the muscle memory.
Wonderboy said it in his last video, his striking is next level he has everything footwork, distance management, variety of techniques, timing
Absolutely, I was amazed that Aljo had his fist end right in front of Sean but Sean didn’t even fucking flinch. He knew he was safe, it’s just beautiful. The glasses 🤣
Shokry O'Mallikey
This is how you take the piss out of the barbarians and their sports washing.
My stream worked perfect all night... Except for those 10 seconds... Stayed up till past 6am only to miss those 10 seconds...
we got him, we got the guy
F
Don’t feel bad, I think the ref missed most of those 10 seconds too
The UFC just got handed a gift. Do chito vs Sean and Merab vs sandhagen
DONT FEED CORY TO MERAB PLEASE
I think Cory wins tbh
Yeah, his grappling has improved a lot and his striking has always been elite
Agreed; the speed Cory possess and refined is so frightening, there’s a brief section in the Rob Font fight where Rob attempts to stand up and Cory closes the distance and rushes with a piss missile of a left hand in quite literally the blink of an eye. Can see him shooting a knee directly up the middle at Merab
Absolute bomb of a right hook while moving backwards...insane
Counter strikes capitalize on their momentum coming forward. A clean shot becomes very heavy when they’re coming into it. Great punch by Sean.
Almost the same technique as Connor v Aldo.
And Stipe vs Werdum
Stipe did it to Francis is their second fight as well, only Stipe ended up unconscious at the end of that still…
I remember that. I swear he rocked Francis with it . Explains why Stipe charged forward after only to get slept lol
Stipe thought he 'rocked' Francis and walked into the hand of god.
Francis did feel that one but he wasn't that rocked.
Francis has a crazy chin tho, that was a solid punch
[Close up](https://youtu.be/1ZvjOCUWpdM?t=85)
Well, now we know Sean isn’t just a can crusher anymore.
Yan fight he did very well. Horrible gameplan from aljo tbh. Grapple this guy, you stupid? … then we hear he didn’t train any wrestling for weeks. He’s gonna be sick lol

Picture perfect. Reminded me of the Aldo finish by Conor.
Same, that was the first thing I thought of
Aldo, Aljo
Conor, Seaner
where all the dudes saying o malley had no chance ?? bunch of dumb fucksssss
[удалено]
Dudes head was bouncing from the hammer fists, early stoppage my ass
I counted, he landed a total of 20 hammer fists before it was stopped, and Aljo literally gives up his back at the emd

Aljo literally rolled over and had his back showing. He wasn’t defending himself.

Aljo so good in the post fight interview though
Really like him as a person. To be booed and knocked out and then try and uplift the people booing you - really impressive.
He’s the man. Such a good dude and teammate. Hope he can remain elite.
Glad to see that after the fight much respect for that
Aljo is a really good respectable dude and a great ambassador for the ufc. Don’t get the gate at all
![gif](giphy|YnomVvmcSmZwUqLrwY|downsized)
"When your UFC 4 character finishes the main quest line."
Now Ian Garry can stfu about everyone wanting to see him instead of Sean.
More people might want to see him lose now. I was holding out hating on him too much for that cringey ass beef he drummed up but to see him doubling down on it post fight…hope Wonderboy avenges his NMF brother in a highlight manner.
Wonderboy already declined the fight, he’s not fighting a dangerous 25 year old ranked below him when he’s got 3 fights left tops
Comical night for all the suga haters
Dude's been playing the long game, improving both his brand as well as his skillset. I'm still sad for Aljo being hated on, but give Suga props where its due, he made it.
I'm done hating him as long as there's a number next to his name
He’s already got 69 on his shoulder what more do you want?
Holy fuck it seems like just yesterday when people were saying "ill wait until he fights an actual ranked opponent" and here we are today. Unbelievable.
Shows how quickly a couple years fly by. Damn I need to get my shit together.
You don’t need to do anything bro. People are low level scum their all lives. But if you want and are willing to put in the effort you can reach whatever your goal is king
Thanks for the perspective broski, needed that
No problem fellow organized violence fan 😉 it’s never too late 💪
I mean even suga haters would be rooting for him tonight.
I rememeber watching him in 2020 (when i really got into ufc) and thinking this dude has that 'it' factor. I don't have a very good trained eye for MMA but i could tell he was different. His injury was a real buzzkill but he finally got there.
Suga haters feeling salty rn.
Lol they should embrace the sweetness of the suga show
They are already on the Merb time train.
I wish Sean would fight merab next instead of chito. Merab looked like he was gonna cry after the fight
Haha he could have had his title shot by now but he chose friendship.
People really saying that’s a early stoppage? Dude was just wiggling around dazed on his back.
Sean did his basketball dribbling thing but with Aljo's head
Yeah. Never a great look when someone hits the mat head first regardless of what looks like recoverability
they dont want it stopped until the body goes limp lmao
For real. He was on rolling onto his stomach and ate like 12 heavy shots from one of the hardest hitters at 135
The real hardest hitting 135er right here
Who da fuck is Dat guy????
You can always tell by the eyes. Even when the body language looks like there's still a fight, the ref is there to protect the brain and the eyes are a dead giveaway. He took a lot of unanswered shots, it was a decent stoppage.
Aljo didn't say anything about it being an early stoppage, prob cuz he knows he was flashed af
I counted 17 strikes landed before he rolled over Not an early stoppage and most of the strikes didn't land lightly

Joe literally said “he was still moving”. Smdh
Once I got shot and I was still moving
Mario retired from being a ref; otherwise.....
I laughed out loud when rogan mentioned that. Also rlly got punched on the ground like 12 times without defending or pulling guard and he thinks it was an early stoppage?
Yeah, felt like Joe was trying to delegitimize the win almost. So many hard shits got through. Aljo took the loss well
Joe and DC were really annoying tonight.

Wake and bake brother hell yea 🚬
His team didn't even contest the stoppage lol
Looked like a turtle flipped on his shell.
It COULD have gone longer, sure, but he got dropped and literally ate 13 or more shots on the ground in a daze. Dems da rules 🤷♂️
Basically the only scenario is more unanswered shots to the back of the head, I don’t think this will be remembered as an early stoppage
It was a fine stoppage, like Alex vs Izzy or Henry vs Tj. The type where I could understand it going on a little longer to see if Aljo can rebound but I'm not gonna argue with Goddard here.
I saw someone say in the live fight that aljo planned to go down. He really thought aljo wanted to kiss the fucking ground like that
Always looking for a reason to hate on both these men. I don't understand it. Sean literally goes to game tournaments, wins, and gives the money to charity. Then he defended it when not one person thought he would so they hated him more. His post fight speech was super classy and both of these men deserve hespect
I root for whoever’s got more haters. It’s funnier when they get all salty over another man’s achievements
Ik half this sub is in tears right now
![gif](giphy|XNdMpQ3iADvLK5r3In|downsized) Sean Strickland’s Daddy
Man these little movements look so dope lmao
Wouldn’t say Volk hits harder than Sean. Seans got a lotta show stoppers, Volk doesn’t put people away like that.
I would still say volk most likely hits harder than Sean if they threw the same strike. Volk doesn’t throw heavy shots unless it’s gnp
That was a backward right hook that dropped Aljo onto his face, planted he takes his head off. I like Volk, but power shots aren’t his game.
I think a lot of people thought Aljo would do that, myself included!

Looks like the same exact movement he used in the fight. Just like when we saw Conor’s locker room footage practicing the counter for Aldo. Holy shit
You can literally put a freeze frame of that clip vs the KO and it's IDENTICAL [side by side](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/016/212/manning.png)
Wow, that’s actually insane
This will never fail to make me giggle
Sugar Sean haters on suicide watch.
Hold on brother I’m coping
He wanted the walk off KO. Glad he followed up though.
As much as I wanna see the Chito rematch, he does not deserve a title shot. Instead I’d like chito to fight Merab or Corey
Chito just fought Cory.
Chito vs Merab and Sandhagen vs Sean, book it
I take Cory by split decision vs Chito if this fight were to ever happen.. oh wait
this is still somehow a bad bet even if that same exact fight happened again. Wild ass split judge
Cory demolished Chito. Id rather Aljo immediate rematch, Merab vs Chito, and then Cory vs winner of Aljo and Suga or Merab vs Chito. Cory is going to be out until March.
Fuck immediate rematch. It wasn’t even a close loss, dude got debo’d.
Immediate rematch, the fuck for??
Absolutely gorgeous. Regardless of his win over Yan and those cans, dude's timing is on another level.
I just don't know why Aljo did that. Not to be like "is he stupid?" but I was thinking while watching like why are you going toward him like that? Should've butt scooted probably.
He thought O’Malley would give more respect after the clinch exchanges but he stayed calm and composed
I think he got cocky with the leg kicks and started thinking O Malley wasn’t as good of a striker as people think.
16 strikes after being on the verge of knocked out, but it was an “early stoppage” SUGA SHOW GO BRRT
Step back counter right hook. Brilliant.
Right hand
Aljo lost the bet lmao
Suga Chads... I fucking kneel...
Werent there alot of ppl saying aljo would submit him easy?
Yep, as soon as there was no TD round 1 they got realllll quiet
well they only had 35 seconds to say anything after the first round LMAO
Its crazy to me that punch basically just guaranteed Sean will earn millions and millions of dollars over the coming next few fights. I was hoping he would win but wasnt sure if he could pull it off. I thought the fight would last longer. At first I thought it was a little bit of an early stoppage since Aljo was still moving around and trying to defend, but after watching the replay a few times its clear he is taking massive shots to the head and his head is bouncing off th floor so ya totally a fair stoppage, he doesnt need anymore brain damage this fight
Well my $20 bet at the casino got me $70 so thanks suga Sean
I mean at least we can see Merab fight for the title now that his training partner isn't the champ.
The fuk…did this really happen…I still can’t believe it
Not saying it's your case, but a lot of people saw the hair and general goofiness of Sean, and let that rub them the wrong way and become willfully blind of his talent. If you saw him fight with an objective eye before Yan, then saw him rise to the occasion for Yan, you *had* to know he wasn't some pushover whatsoever.
Awesome TKO , Aljo was a class act too.

Bro, thats was fking beautiful
Where does yan fit into all this
I'm a combat sports casual, but I always find it disturbing when a guy gets knocked down and the fighter just starts pounding away at his head
"I'll drag yo ass up and down this fucking octagon." -Aljamain "Funk Master" Sterling, 2023
What should he have said?
“I’ll bounce my head up and down this octagon”
Man this exact scenario was brought up by Sayif on the keys to victory for O'Malley
Sean O’Malley better wrestler than Olympic Medalist Henry Cejudo
Everybody had Aljo winning it felt like
Aljo fought dumb. That’s what you get.
Suga is the real deal, I didn't expect him to win but he defended well and countered well.aljo should still move up though imo
![gif](giphy|PUWeEf3IADjAIJCsfI|downsized)
Been saying it since I saw him first fight. He’s easy to hate if you just see the hair and shit, but Sean is the real deal and he’s entertaining as fuck. Incredible
Sean’s striking is so sharp and accurate it’s impressive how he hits people, his striking is genuinely up there with prime Conor and I don’t think he’s even in his prime yet
How are people whining that’s an early stoppage? I fucking hate O’Malley but there’s no way that was an early stoppage.. if anything it was later than it should’ve been.
Good job for ref to stop this when he did. He saved Sterling from at least three/four more terrible punches. He was done.
That must have been the hand aljo asked for during the face offs
Great finish, great stoppage. Also was rolling onto his front and was about to eat nothing but shots to the head if that continued. Both were fairly classy post fight too. Good stuff.
I'm salty as fuck as an Aljo fan but I can't even hate. That was a beautiful KO.
At first I thought it may have been an early stoppage... but aljo ate many shots with his head smacking the mat. Damn.
