Sometimes, I feel like the golden rule should apply for crimes. You raped someone? You get raped. You planned and murdered someone? You also get murdered. Certainly not a perfect system, but why the fuck do people like this just get put in jail? Something about that doesn’t seem adequate.
Unfortunately the 25 years aren't enough, he could be out in half that time. Certainly still young enough to pose a threat to other women (and men if he's showed a propensity for violence). He should have been held until he was so old he wouldn't have the strength or energy to pose a threat to anyone.
Weirdly they're also highly respected by prison staff because they have less incidents of violence and tend to be much more intelligent than general pop, but I think those kinds of crimes take a high level for intelligence to plan and commit too typically as they're often not crimes of opportunity. It's weird how certain facts make things more unsettling.

There was a woman 19 year old Alison Ford she was grabbed on a Friday night and escaped on Monday, where she went into detail that she was at her friends party and went outside to smoke a cigarette when a van pulled up and a man from the bushes ran up behind her lifted her up and threw her in the back of the van. 9 men were arrested 4 somalians and 5 who couldn't be named due to being underage.
She was beaten and assaulted for hours and would pass out, and when she came back around, she said they were laughing and recording her while one of the underage boys was assaulting her.
