Because rich people buy things that aren't on the list that makes up the official measure of inflation (like assets). If it did we would realise that we have actually been living in an inflationary environment for some time - all while the metaphorical QE printing press kept churning out cash.
How is this day and age is someone not filming, recording or documenting these closed door kind of meetings? Ray Ban Metas are literal spy glasses. I just don’t understand how no one knows what goes on.
We already live in a country where the highest earners have earned increasingly more as the majority of the country, in real terms, are earning less and less. It hasn’t yet come to fruition and, regardless, feels morally awful.

Why won't scrapping the cap contribute to inflation? Almost like their argument is a load of bollocks.
