I was born in USSR, in Ukraine republic, and in school were were taught that it's all bad in USA, people has been dying of hunger, that there are stokes, and how we were lucky that we lived in USSR, all equal.
2.75% of the US population survives off of less than $10 a day, and .2% of all Americans are homeless, which is about half a million people.
By contrast, 22.42% of Russians survive off less than $10 a day, as do 43% of Chinese, with Russia having a homeless population of around 5 million, or roughly 4.5%, and according to the last available statistic out of China (2011), roughly 3 million people of their billion strong population, though that’s likely heavily underestimated.
