With the Senate reconvening on Monday, I’m pretty confident the Ukrainian aid bill is going to be a top priority. It was the House GOP(more so the Trump/Putin hillbillies) that were the problem getting it through.
The Senate already passed a very similar bill, that included border money. The same hillbillies shot that down. This should go through the Senate and on to Biden pretty quick.
I could be totally wrong about this, hope I’m not.

Europeans are “stepping up” typically to a greater degree per capita. No need for finger pointing, everyone’s contributing.
They are not. Just look at France, Spain, Italy - some of the biggest economies in the world. They are far far behind on a percentage of GDP basis. There is a need because if they don’t step up, and if EU continues to be far behind, it’s going to be easier for Trump to withhold the next package. $60B is not even going to last a year. Especially if they waste the money on a ton of expensive Patriot interceptors.
