jimjamjahaa

it's weird it says this came from lukashenko but all i can hear is putin

Last_Patrol_

He’s been ordered to do it by the Kremlin, on the GenerallSVR channel on telegram they have said Putin’s mind is set on a triune state of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

papabear244

Now he is getting none. If The colonelissimo Lukashenko decided to launch an attack, his own generals will turn on him.

EagleCatchingFish

"colonelissimo." 😂

SyntheticTangerine

It’s a nice word. I’ll be using it. And pronouncing it “kernelissimo”.

EagleCatchingFish

It's a perfectly cromulent word, that's for sure.

Cool_Specialist_6823

Love the term, well put...just add lapdog..

Jet2work

is that Belarusian for asshole?

Oriaks371

This word describes lukashenko perfectly. It even has "colon" in it.

Snattar_Kondomer

How do you know that'll happen? His generals are most likely the ones who have gotten to where they are by kissing ass. That's how it works in these countries.

Breech_Loader

Unlike Russia, which has been under Putin and his oligarchs for 20 years, most of the officers of Belarus are aware that Lukashenko is a weak ruler and totally brown-noses Putin, and is only in power because of Putin. Considering there are high-ups in Russia who now want Putin to pull out but have no guts and have their finances controlled entirely by him, why would the generals of Belarus even want to start?

Jonny_Zuhalter

Don't forget Slovenia and a "land corridor" (i.e. Lithuania) to Kaliningrad.

Mikeinthedirt

As long as there’s gravity.

Oriaks371

Don't insult shit like that. At least it has a use as fertiliser.

Yeranz

It is Putin. See that arm shoved up Lukashenko's ass? That's just Putin moving the mouth.

SuperMorto7

You cant be that much of an ass hole without your A&& cancer catching up with you.

mrb1

It's weird that Lukashenko doesn't realize how lame the horse is that he's hitched his wagon to. No way Ruzzians have the ability or resources to continue propping up this meat puppet. May he reap what he's sowed with great haste and violence.

DemonymLondon

Putin has poisoned a head of state before. He's probably terrified of not doing as ordered. Not that I have sympathy for murderous dictators, but he's not going to get any protection from the only other regional power- the EU. He can't exactly retire and hand over power to anyone either. Dictators rarely are able to retire, they either die in power, are killed, or flee to Saudi or Russia.

KnownMonk

In the picture it looks like he has Putlers hand up is ass, like a puppet.

Gusta86

Yes Yes Yes Yes...thank you..I couldn't figure out what he reminded me of... https://youtu.be/PsyASeKlRJA

[deleted]

He reminds me (in this photo particularly) of Mr. Punch: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punch\_and\_Judy#/media/File:Mr-Punch-by-Guy-Higgins.jpg

[deleted]

I’d hedge a bet that Lukashenko & Putler would often have alone time tonguing each other’s prolapsed arseholes. They would have to be two of the grubbiest humans on the planet.

[deleted]

Putin has his mouth to Lukashenko's arse and yells and the noise comes out of Lukashenko's mouth. Its a very effective system.

011100110110

Putin's Johnson is so far up Lukashenko's ass that his BS is squirting out of his mouth

hello-cthulhu

Thank you for that image. Especially when I'm going to bed. Now I have no idea how I'm going to sleep with such a horrific thing in my head.

Less-Raspberry-6222

That's how a puppet works.

kwainot

It looks like this individual is that lazy he can't even be bothered to stage a false flag event 🙄

Academic-Forever1492

I 'm getting the feeling he doesn't actually have a lot of power / internal support to stage any type of event.

_Ed_Gein_

All he had to do was ask Russia to shell them from Ukraine to make it more realistic. Still a pathetic excuse for a human being though.

Mando_the_Pando

Russia have no troops in any area of Ukraine that could reach Belarus with artillery last I checked.

epiquinnz

Shell Belarus from Russia, and claim it came from Ukraine?

Sparred4Life

Likely. russia has already shelled russia from russia and blamed Ukraine.

dotslashpunk

maybe a bake sale and that’s a stretch

Stupid_Douche

Or he doesn't really want to enter the war, he doesn't really have anything to gain from this war: If Russia loses he would be couped, if Russia wins he might get couped anyways and if Russia wins and he doesn't get couped Putin will turn Belarus in a new province of their empire and Lukashenko will be reduced to one of Putins governors (basically a second Kadyrov instead of a dictator)

ksam3

He's so lazy he doesn't even know what day Ukraine committed his fake missile attack. "" blag blag blah ...two days ago, or maybe it was 3 or 4 days ago, Ukraine attacked us...". Well when was it? Really? He doesn't know? He's outraged by a supposed attack but can't remember when it happened? Idiot. Liar. Putin lapdog.

Jakuskrzypk

Would be funny as fuck if he did it intentionally to not have support for attacking ukraine. Malicious compliance. It probably is not. But if the whole thing is a 4d ches move by lukashenka to weaken russia.

Trapped-In-Dreams

You heard that "Mike and Nick interception"? These guys are not really talented at staging things.

CorsicA123

I mean at least before Luka would show some part of missiles or parts of drones that russians would mail him… now it’s just blabbering

goodlifepinellas

"Lukashenko encouraged to 'go fuck himself' by Ukrainian military and Nato..."

SuperMorto7

N-LAW=New law. Send that to him, fat orc.

Lukashenko looks way too much like a pinata to be talking so much shit.

IssueTricky6922

I’m wondering if Ukraine and Poland have a deal in place already. That if Potato Mussolini invaded then Poland defends Western Ukraine. I know Ukraine could easily take out Belarus but the disruption to supply lines might be too much to hold off Russia. There has to be a plan in place.

RadsterWarrior

“Potato Mussolini” goddamn 🤣🤣

hello-cthulhu

In his day, Mussolini was known as the Sawdust Caesar. So what does it say for you if you're the Potato Mussolini?

godtogblandet

Honestly what we should have done as NATO countries. Just start massive troop build up everywhere else than Ukraine in countries around Belarus and Russia. From Norway to Turkey. Make Russia have to divert assets from Ukraine. Take some pressure of them. We’re not going to invade, but they don’t know that so what are they going to do? Leave the borders undefended? No, they would have to stations troops there. Because of the implication.

Mando_the_Pando

That is a very risky move though. The goal is to get Russia to fuck off out of UA, not to escalate hostilities between NATO and Russia and fuel the Russian narrative of being surrounded. On top of that, looking back to the Cold War and the number of near misses that almost saw a nuclear war break out, you heavily increase the risk of those types of events (even if nukes aren’t involved) when you place the armies face to face so to speak. Now sure, to some extent you need to build up presence in the area, which NATO are doing, but blasting it full power to that extent could end up beating a really bad move.

IssueTricky6922

Yeah, my thought is Poland saying clearly and showing clearly with their movements that they aren’t going to fight Russia. Just hold the border from Belarus. I don’t know a good plan but Ukraine fighting Russia and Belarus sounds f’d. And trying to get supplies 1200km to the front lines…. The problem really started in 2008 when we did nothing for Georgia and escalated in 2014 and…

Mikeinthedirt

Technically the problem started in Chicago’s Haymarket in 1886. USA, the premier capitalist state, was damned if socialism and unions would molt their feather beds. Then 1917, in Russia (strangely enough, partly to separate Church and State) their nightmare came true. The rest is history, some of the ugliest ever seen.

Mikeinthedirt

Sing it. I was tasked in grade school with putting the kindergartener’s nap mats up against their windows in Civil Defense drills. Russia is a world power in nukes only. Could pretend in tanks but THAT bluff was called. This calls for careful s l o w finesse.

[deleted]

Emu1981

>Yeah but if NATO wanted to avoid getting directly involved they should have been more aggressive in supplying Ukraine with more powerful weapons much earlier. A lot of people were expecting Ukraine to fall in the first few days/weeks of the war and that the "war" was going to be more of a guerilla uprising during a occupation kind of thing - perfect scenario for the usage of MANPADS and AT weaponry. Sending powerful weapons to a country that you think will collapse quickly would be just giving weapons to the country that is invading as they wouldn't be able to be kept in someone's basement to hide them from the occupation force. When it became clear that Ukraine was actually going to hold it became far more reasonable to send powerful weaponry to help them get the advantage.

Mando_the_Pando

Reality of it is NATO probably sent pretty much what they could from day one (not you Germany). However, the type of warfare we saw in the first days was much more in the guerilla-style with heavy city fighting. You don’t need artillery for that, you need footmen. Now that it has evolved to a trench war is when Ukraine needs artillery.

godtogblandet

Just tell them that when they go home, so do the “invasion force”.

blogsymcblogsalot

Seems a logical plan, though the buildup alone could get twisted as evidence that ruzzia should strike first. Upvote for the IASIP reference.

Loud-Item-1243

Looking just like putin a petrified dog turd aka corporalite

[Finnish Intelligence Officer Explains the Russian Mindset](https://ricochet.com/1214468/finnish-intelligence-officer-explains-the-russian-mindset/) >The Russian idea of truth is interesting. After all, language tells how people think, how they perceive the world, and how society thinks. The United States has two words for positive rights: “liberty” and “freedom.” Russia has two words for truth and three words for lie. This is certainly not a coincidence. > >There’s the word “pravda,” which is truth but not absolute truth. Rather, the kind of truth that gets rid of awkward or bad situations. It’s like tactical truth. “Istina” is the opposite of a lie. Istina is true, as true as can be. But pravda is rather… sometimes it can be true, at other times not so true. > >There are three words for lie. “**Vranyo**” is a white lie but on the strategic level. It is also kind of a way to get rid of nasty situations. The Russians know it, but we don’t realize it. We think that there are only truth and lies in the world. It’s just black and white. But the lie in Russia was born under Mongol rule; violence and lying were the way to survive. This tradition has been in their system ever since. > >Russia has the word “krugovaya poruka,” or gang guarantee. It means that when we have some set of people with a common goal. Be it the Kremlin leadership or the Russian armed forces or whatever. We have a common goal so I step out of the circle and lie to an outsider. My gang hears that I lie but they don’t judge me as a liar because they understand that I am using tactical truth (vranjo) to achieve the greater goals of our gang. The use of tactical truth, or a lie, is accepted if it is done for the benefit of the in-group. Just like you can steal when you don’t steal too much or from the wrong guy. You also get to lie if you lie for the sake of the gang.

[deleted]

Interesting piece. It certainly does sound like Putin or Lavrov in a nutshell.

the_first_brovenger

These differences exist on the English language too, just not as separate words. In English, the difference is contextual; subtle. You read between the lines, and it's just as clear as if there was a dedicated word. This is one of those cases where we look at the current state of Russia and because we can connect what he's saying to what we see, we think he is correct. But it's like claiming the sunrise on the horizon is a nuclear bomb. You see the light, you're told nuclear bombs create that kind of light, it makes sense. But it's actually just the sun. 100 years from now, Russia will probably be different, better. They'll still have "Pravda" and use it in a context like a child saying they've done their chores, when they've only kind of done it: malicious compliance.

EverythingIsNorminal

The Ghost of Kyiv is exactly this kind of subtle contextual lie. We knew it was like Santa but with a Mig, but it was the perfect little lie of hope when things were looking dicey, and tied in really well with the successes the Ukrainian forces had started to be able to show off. Not everyone got it, usually the less bright or the Putankies and some still complain about it as "omg look propaganda!" but generally we all fucking knew, and we all went with it, because who the fuck ruins Santa for the kids by pointing out it's a just a drunk guy.

drsoftware

Malicious compliance is not "kind of following the instructions" or "work to rule". It is following the combination of your interpretation of the instructions and using the loopholes left by management to make management look very inept.

the_first_brovenger

"Malicious compliance" is not restricted to the business realm. "Take out the trash, son". Son throws the garbage in the neighbors yard. Malicious compliance. "Did you take out the trash?" Yes I did. Pravda. The son knows the answer is no, because he only took outside, but the ask was to take it to the trash bins.

miarsk

No. Malicious compliance is not bending the rules and injecting own interpretations. It's doing exactly as being told, with full knowledge it will blow back at the person in power who ordered it, and not you. In your example it would be if parents tell you to take out trash on neighbors yard. Instead of you telling them "won't neighbor get mad?" and "hey, it's illegal, what are we trying to achive here?" you just silently do exactly as told, fully knowing this will be a clusterfuck. It says nothing about Russian two-face life. I'm just trying to clear up what malicious compliance is. Imagine boss managing area he knows shit about, like Jenny from IT crowd, and employees doing what they are ordered to do knowing it will blow up, instead of trying to save the situation.

IReadNewsSometimes

This is wrong. I'm a native russian speaker and i studied russian at uni for 4 years. "Pravda" is the regular kind of truth, pretty similar to the english word. "Istina" is truth when it comes to philosophy, religion, and knowledge about the world. For instance, something like "every person has rights" or "god is good" can be called "instina". "Vranyo" is just the colloquial word for 'lies'. It hardly has any connotation besides that. The "krugovaya poruka" explanation is right at least, but incomplete. It just means the responsibility of every member of the group for all other members. It appeared in tzarist russia to describe when the peasants in a common village payed the taxes for those who couldn't afford it. Later on, it got the negative connotation. Also note that both words "pravda" and "instina" were used in old church slavonic, and both are used is many slavic languages today, including ukrainian. And ukrainian also has ["krugova poruka"](https://uk.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9A%D1%80%D1%83%D0%B3%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B0_%D0%BF%D0%BE%D1%80%D1%83%D0%BA%D0%B0), and though they use another word for 'lie' that word is also present in russian. Don't misrepresent the language please! I can tell you that what that finnish officer is a bunch of "brekhnya".

genman

I know Japanese and a lot of myths about the language exist. It's weird how these things persist.

prof_atlas

Thanks for the perspective. I also wanted to share that a Russian friend of mine (who lies very often in different ways for various reasons) is totally unaware that he's being dishonest. He believes more like 'well it's true for them now, and it doesn't matter anyway'. I've known him for 9 years. We're very close. He grew up in Russia for 25 years before moving here, and we met a year after he had moved. The amount of bullshit that he 'unlearned' in the last decade could fill a book. He used to insist historical inaccuracies were true because the rest of the world is in denial (e.g. there's no such thing as 'Russification', the local population just left for whatever reason and new 'countrymen' filled the void seeking better opportunities). Eventually, he started to understand that if it's something he learned in Russian schools, and people from all over Europe, North and South America, Australia, Asia, and Africa all say something else, then he should consider that he might be misinformed. He still lies habitually, needlessly to everyone to avoid discomfort, but he's improved a lot over the years. He also seems happier for it, because he used to avoid friends for months just so he didn't have to get caught in a lie or try to reconcile contradictory stories. Not saying I take the article as absolute truth, but it does make sense to me and is consistent with my observations of this friend and many other Russians I've met over the years. Not a bad set of people, but also not famous for honesty (even if some are more comfortable with uncomfortable truths than others). One last thought: this isn't unique to Russia at all, even if Russia is pretty well known for it at this point, and we should all work on getting more honest and embracing the truth instead of pointing fingers to blame/justify.

epicurean56

Ah, just like Lying for Jesus. I get it now.

[deleted]

I think the three words mean: "lying", "totally fucking lying" and "bullshit".

StressSevere1189

Putins puppet making all the right noises to satisfy the Kremlin. As Russians are running out of regular soldiers. They need Belarus to open up another front to over stretch the front.

EverythingIsNorminal

They'll never get it, not in any effective sense. That front will collapse as quickly as it gets opened. If Lukashenko's days were numbered starting the 24th of February then that switches from days being numbered to (metaphorical) hours being numbered if he issues an order to invade. They might not even cross the border and take a beating before they turn around and kill him instead. It's not like Putin can spare the troops to shore up his power now.

Reiver93

I'm certain earlier in the war, the Belarusian army flat out told Lukashenko they will not invade Ukraine so I don't really know what Russia's hoping to achieve there.

PengieP111

Putin is expert at bullying what he sees as weaker countries. I’m guessing that’s what he’s is doing with Belarus.

Try, try again.

fottik325

I think they want to, Ruzzia came in to save him. I also think they don’t want what is happening in Ukraine to happen to them. They have no connection in the west. Also as the west used to think Ukrainian were just Russians it would be an even harder sell to the west to tell them that Belarusian people are not Russians. It is in the name white russia. So they are linked eternally to the orcs and they know it.

Doyouevengeek

That's not exactly true. Belarusians are a lot closer to the west than russians are. I'm from Lithuania and I have relatives in Belarus and know a number of people who travel in and out. Similar in Poland. The people there are against war. Problem is it's an extrmely oppressive state similar to russia and Lukashenko murders and oppresses any uprising. Remember the huge protest with hundreds of thousand of people? Well russia helped Lukashenko sort it out.

Easy-Entrepreneur746

No one is coming to help Lukashenko now. Putin doesn't have a square to spare.

FernadoPoo

It is the right thing to do

LingonberryOk4943

Nice Guy Eddie Voice: You expect me to believe, that in a war where literally everything is on video, that Ukraine fired rockets, missiles or artillery, at your country and you miraculously shot them down with fuckin BUK'S and somehow these are the only FUCKING THINGS NOT ON VIDEO!?!?!? IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE TELLING ME!!!!!!

ExplorerHead795

I believe that if Belarus attacks Ukraine, Poland will conduct a false flag operation to enter the conflict. I am impressed by the control Poland has displayed so far, but if Belarus attacks Ukraine I cannot see Poland sitting on their hands any longer.

Infinaris

That's the thing if Poland alone attacks Belarus in retaliation for a "false flag" then Russia has a choice, it stays OUT of the fight in Belarus and has to sacrifice their puppet state or it attacks Poland and risk NATO engaging operation kurbstomp on both. The likelyhood is it would have to sacrifice Belarus because Russia simply does not have the resources to even try full mobilisation. It would be risking a showdown it cannot survive. People might fear the threat of Nukes but there would be a very clear warning, if no nukes are used this ends when Russia returns to it's internationally recognised borders. It uses nukes it's free game and Russia's existence as a state is forfeit. One is a loss the other is annihilation, what's your choice Russia?

ArcerPL

Trust me, poles would like to fuck Russians up so bad, they're like that agressive chiuaua on a leash that barks at big dogs

PengieP111

Poland is far from a chihuahua. Poland is more like some sort of medium to large size terrier. Not scary because they are huge but because they are absolutely ferocious and capable of seriously injuring even the biggest dog.

Accurate_Pie_8630

I would not call the Polish a chihuahua. Not in the least.

AngryCockOfJustice

True. You don't see Russian car convoys with Russian flags in Poland, unlike in Germany and sadly in Finland because muh, laws and human rights even for these sentient human filth. The convoy organizer in Finland is a receiver of social assistance.

So what happens if the Belarus army decides that it's not a good idea to die attacking for Putin. Lukashenko will be in corner as lost command of the army..

[deleted]

Hopefully the army refused and there gonna be a big protest again. With a unhappy army and a too busy Russia. there are a lot of chances

FrenchMaisNon

Lukashenko is a clownish piece of shit

[deleted]

If Belarus is joining the war, it is just a matter of time Poland or one of the Baltic states joins too. Voila we got our world war.

Accurate_Pie_8630

World war: the world against Russia.

ForsakenAd7571

Maybe Putin planned this from the start. Force Lukashenko to participate in the war against Ukraine. As soon as the Belarussians start to rebel against Lukashenko Russia will have an excuse annex Belarus. Only to 'protect' them from Nato of course

Accurate_Pie_8630

Maybe… then save face: we won a victory! eh… not on Ukraine but on Belarus

Jcupsz

If Lil’ Luka thinks he should be able to tag team with Russia against Ukraine I think Poland should have every right to tag team with Ukraine, seems only fair really.

Oh no, Orc offensive in the east, they need the puppet to bark again. I don't know if he realizes, soon there will be no-one to have his back. One way or the other Vlad the Imp is going to bite the dust.

Chatty_Fellow

If Belarus is a staging ground for the war then it's a legit target. I expect that Ukraine is going after military targets, trains, etc. and not pursuing civilian areas like Russia has done In any case, this is probably just him putting on a tough front to delay or prevent Putin from just getting rid of him and swallowing Belarus. It probably won't work. I expect he'll be 'forcibly retired' within the year.

Lukashenko cares about Lukashenko, i have a hard time seeing him invading. He might however be used as a distraction to keep a lot of Ukraine Troops occupied on the northern flank. That alone could possibly be enough for Putin to leave Lukashenko alone.

RikimaruRamen

Pretty sure the Belarusian people don't want war. That's why there haven't been any Belarusian troops in Ukraine.

callidus_vallentian

I bet this is putins round about way to fully mobilize. Think about it. Belarus taunts. Gets attacked. Because belarus has a defensive alliance with russia, putin can use that as an excuse to fully mobilize.

Demonidze

I feel like he cant really actually attack or he will have a revolution the next day.

gaxxzz

I *wish* we shelled Belarussia.

QuestionableAI

These sorts of *accusations* are precursors to their intent ... when someone tells you who they are, believe them, and remember, it is always about projection for Russian Nazi shites.

Real-Reputation-9091

CalibanSpecial

We all know it's bullshit. These are 🤡🤡🤡

[deleted]

What a sad piece of shit.

i_noticed_you

Correct me if I'm wrong, this is the same moron that said he was mobilizing near the north west of Ukraine to prevent a Polish invasion? Why do they even try to hide their war moves especially when their lies are so illogically outrageous. Pardon my ignorance but real questions; Who do they think they are fooling ; Who is their target audience when they say outrageous illogical thing and is their target audience really that gullible?

BakedBurntoutCooked

That face says he smells the bullshit but doesn't realize it's from him

Speedballer7

Poland would wreck belarus in days partially because the belarusians dont want to fight just so their idiot leader can score more kremlin points and partially because big hats and gold epaulets dont count for shit when the steel starts to fly.

IDespiseFatties

Red_Geoff

False flag?

Sell_Reddit_To_Elon

At this point, Lukashenko is going to turn his people over to Russia so that Putin will make him a Colonel. This will be viewed as the excuse to open a Northern front into Ukraine and allow Russia to leverage ~~Belarusian~~ Junior Orc forces.

Middle-Hour-2364

So.....Goblins?? Luka looks like he likes goblin

jlebrech

accused them of defending themselves. so what, if they could reach both capitals then so be it.

Sell_Reddit_To_Elon

Give Lukashenko some credit - he still looks remarkably young for a man who has spent the last twenty years with Vladimir Putin’s hand up his asshole.
