Can you tell more about your overall experience, when you applied, and when you received it? Also do they keep our passport for the said time? I am about to apply from Mumbai so wanted to know.
7 working days to get a decision then two days or one for VAC to receive approximate total of 8 to 11 working days for you to receive your visa if there is no Non - straight forward mail sent to you.
You just did your bio on 9th febuary is not up to 7 working days. Wait till 7 to 11 working g days at least. Is not a must that you'll have a Non- straightforward email. Most people not don't pray to have it, because if you receive a Non- straightforward mail that means is either your visa waiting time will take longer to decide or they are just buying more time. Stay positive and wait
Hi! Can I ask you what is the biometric? I’m at the end of my application and I don’t see it anywhere. Is this coming up after paying? I have a chip (?) in my passport and I have scanned it with the UK immigration app so maybe I don’t need a biometric and that was enough. Is anyone know something about it?
Did you made de application in your country of origin right? Im in the process of doing the same, just waiting for my english exame results. You apply for the visa online and then do the BRP, in person, also in your country of origin right?
I got an email yesterday stating: (Your application for a United Kingdom (UK) visa (vignette) has been successful.)
So waiting now for TLS !!!
How long do you guys think TLS will send the follow up email?
Message your employer to confirm if you have the right certificate of sponsorship. 14weeks is pretty damn much. Did you submit any additional document as well?
No additional documents we requested for neither....
Did two escalation and one was asking me to wait for 15wds which I will be contacted (presently 10days gone).
My employer did reach them out via paid enquiry on Jan12 and was mailed that a decision has been made.
Since then nothing much.
COS was for skilled workers visa (health care)
May i know how long did you wait to receive your decision and if there is any additional document they asked you? I have been waiting for 6 weeks now and sent them the document they need on the 2nd week but still no decision yet.

Biometrics is when you’ll have to go to the application centre and they take your picture and fingerprints etc.

Yep that is correct. I did everything in my country of origin
3 weeks exactly. My dependents got ppt in 10 working days. Mine was priority so got in 5 days.
