To be honest, the danes don't understand skånska and the people of Skåne do not understand Danish by default either. Danish sounds just as bad for someone from Skåne as for someone from rest of Sweden. If I recall correctly, a study showed that people from Stockholm were easier to understand for the Danes, and they also were more likely to understand what the Dane said than people from Skåne.
