Fair but they can claim territories and some groups of animals will have leaders, hierarchies and complex social relationships with other groups of animals
Poli is actually derived from the Greek word Polis, which would be more akin to city state or self governing zone. Demos was the Greek word for people! And also, animals hierarchy is typically biologically coded, so a little different than class relations.
It doesn't though, lol. 'Polis' = city, city-state, urban place. 'Politikos' = 'of citizens, pertaining to the state and its administration; pertaining to public life'; from 'polites' = 'citizen'; from 'polis = 'city'. 'Demos' = people/common people (also, district, related meaning); hence 'democracy' from 'demos' + 'kratos' (rule, strength), i.e., 'rule of the people'/'popular government'/'system of government in which the sovereign power is vested in the people as a whole exercising power directly'.
Maybe not above our concepts, but definitely not a part of it. They have their own politics. When I see 2 cats acting weird or territorial, I think to myself âman, cat politics sucks lol just get alongâ
But without means of production.
Since cats are more tending to completely enslave their human companions, they are more like slaveowners than socialists.
They have and some still do. For example, protecting crops from infestations of vermin ruining them. Also, they have a relation to the domestic sphere of social reproduction in some cases, e.g., protecting homes from vermins, rodoents, keeping it cleaner than it may otherwise be.
Cats are libertarians, they fiercely independent and resist any form of authority, despite being fully reliant on a system they do not appreciate or understand
Theyâre monarchists. Theyâre royalty and youâre a commoner. They make appearances from time to time to greet you and then disappear. They usually have some sort of high-up place they use as a throne. You have to spend money on their food, plumbing and healthcare allowances, and you just get to have a cat in return. When they arenât happy, they make noise then you work as a guardsman to rescue them. When they go hunting, you are assuming all the risk of paying for vet care should they swallow antifreeze. Ultimately, your salary goes to the cat, and she soaks it up while you toil.
Your cat didn't go into a lengthy monologue about Hegel? Man ur cat is weird, mine begins referencing Descartes and the role of human agency parallel to systemic socioeconomic infrastructure every Tuesday or so.
My cat has a strong sense of 'from each according to ability, to each according to need' and a sense of fairness and equality.
He will see that I lack the ability to hunt and provide for myself, so he has gone out and brought me back food, offered it to me, demonstrating that in his mind he understands that I provide for him with my ability and take care of needs he wouldn't be able to take care of to the extent I am able to, and in turn he realises that I lack the ability to go out and hunt and bring back food for myself so he does so for me, making sure I understand he is offering it to me and it isn't for me. Additionally, when he sees me make food for myself and eat it, without offering him a share, he is outraged and protests this perceived injustice ans demands that it be shared. Also, I provide for him, make sure he is well fed, has comfortable living conditons, play with him, groom him, provide him companionship and love and the like; and he contributes to the household/community by keeping the place free from rodents and pests and protects our domecile, even just his presence is enough to keep the place safe from intruders and unwanted vermin and provides me with companionship and love.
I've also seen him read Marx and Lenin, or at least constantly want to lie on top of the books when they are out on my desk. And he has a particular loathing for *parasites*.
So, yeah, I would say my cat, at least, is a socialist! Comrade Chairman Meow! ('Thank you for warming this chair up for me, meow.')
They do talk a lot about Mao.
I thought the same thing previously
*our* cats are socialists
Sorry for the typo
Cats are anarchists. It just is what it is
Bakunin meows you
Inherently
They mostly follow miaoism-egoism, so no :(
Just can't follow all these new fractions
Oh wow, I didn't realize that this isn't a r/TheDeprogram shitpost.đ¤Ł
They're the cutest little anarchists ever, is what they are. [Kitty on "Conquest of Bread".](https://youtu.be/BGVaw5YKICA)
So Bakunin would be proud of them.
gross
Cats are maoists
cats are opportunist
Makes sense now
Socialism is a human concept, cats are above humanity and our concepts
Just struck me that animals are truly apolitical
Due to "poli" meaning people
Fair but they can claim territories and some groups of animals will have leaders, hierarchies and complex social relationships with other groups of animals

Neat!

But they have mustache, what do you say about it then?
Maybe not above our concepts, but definitely not a part of it. They have their own politics. When I see 2 cats acting weird or territorial, I think to myself âman, cat politics sucks lol just get alongâ
Idk, but they are Muslim
That is very true. They sell prayer mats for cats online
Cats are also Orthodox, really theyâre whatever they need to be to make the humans keep em around.
Best as I can tell pretty much a lot of things that passes muster in Islam is gonna be cool in any other Orthodox abrahamic practices
They have no relations to means of production. Thus, socialism is not relevant to cats, and vice versa.
They produce problems though
But without means of production. Since cats are more tending to completely enslave their human companions, they are more like slaveowners than socialists.

Mine always have been. My mom's cat is definitely a fascist though, so I don't think the general statement is true.
You should have both of them met in Berlin
Cats don't seem to have any respect for private property. They take, eat and break what they please. They definitely are.
That's a proof
Cats are libertarians, they fiercely independent and resist any form of authority, despite being fully reliant on a system they do not appreciate or understand
That sums it up pretty well.
Gorbach
Me: *opens tuna can Cat: âOur foodâ
They make the working class (my immune system) rise up against their oppressors (me)
Lazy Fs who don't work. First to be purged.
Literally found a book in a bookstore called *Marx for Cats*. I think yes
That's a sign
All cats are Maoists
Cats are socialist doing the day & a fascist doing the night cat sleeper all day
No, no. Cats are freaking anarchists.
My cats def are
Congrats!

This sounds like monarchs are cat more than cats are monarchists.
Idk mine keeps talking about Mao, so maybe?
That tells something
I fw that hat
Yes, absolutely.
I just know that dog can be the best friend of a man, but the cats donât work to the police hahahahahahaah very common phrase here in Brazil
Facts
Yep! They always say âMeowâ seems kinda suspicious to me... Mao?
MĂĄo ZeDong is ćŻćł˝ä¸ (MĂĄo means âhairâ) MÄo ZeDong is çŤćł˝ä¸ (MÄo means âcatâ)
Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.
Have you tried asking?
Yeah but just heard something similar to meow
Your cat didn't go into a lengthy monologue about Hegel? Man ur cat is weird, mine begins referencing Descartes and the role of human agency parallel to systemic socioeconomic infrastructure every Tuesday or so.
Thereâs a reason they suggest having n+1 litter boxes for n cats.

When have cats not been socialist?
Of course they are, some are Moaists, some are anarchists and some are MLMs.
yes
Cats are anarchists and dogs are socialist
Cats are anarchists, everyone knows this
No. I refuse to believe they are anything but fascist
I thought this was ho chi minh...
Mine are, but I've definitely seen some bourgeois felines.
# Class conflict
Cats are decadent and bourgeois, but they are a necessary step in the historical dialectic because they control the means of purr-duction.
Cats are reactionary counter revolutionaries
Sounds like a new kind
Leave el gato alone you filthy commie
My cats are greedy they could never be socialist , plus they arenât stupid
