I would try renting in Benicia or American canyon if possible. Vallejo has been a bit rough lately (south Vallejo here). Still hoping it turns around but like the other poster has said, not sure you’re going to find something with great reviews rn. That said, I could be wrong.

I don’t live there, but the Anchor 532 apartments look nice
For Solano County, my first choice would be Benicia. Great downtown and schools.
