Idk what it is about Peacock. Something similar happens on my LG TV. I’ve tried all the things and it will not fix itself. All of our other devices, including another LG TV, work completely fine with Peacock!
Dude this happens on my bedroom TV too with any show on peacock. It will start just fine and then freeze and return to the home pic for that episode... So dumb. My living room TV is fine though. I should probably re download it on the other TV...
This also happens to me, it did the same thing with southern charm and recently the traitors. So what usually works for me is re-clicking on the episode and when it starts loading I hold the right joy-stick so it fast forwards for a minute or two, I haven’t had a problem after I do that. It’s annoying but it’s been working 🤷🏻♀️
ETA: maybe it’s the left joystick haha whichever one is normally used to fast forward, I’m second guessing my muscle memory 😅
This happened to me yesterday. I’d be stuck on the loading screen though and then it would bump back to the home page. I re-downloaded the app, did an update on my TV and then did a TV ‘restart’ where I unplugged it for like a minute then plugged it back in. Seems to have worked so far!

My Disney+ does this all the time. Haven’t figured out a fix yet I usually just have to click the show 3 or 4 times until it stops glitching
