VHB 3D and 3Ds fits the anvil and work well, but seems they’re hard to get before being sold out.
Tempest looks interesting to me, but personally will hold out until after a few batches go out, same as I did with the anvil. Just in case there are any issues and/or upgrades that come shortly after its finally released.
I have nothing bad to say about the anvil. Great device, heavy hits, easy clean up especially with the WPA. I think the tempest will be similar.
I got a feeling the tempest will probably get updated with a copper shim that extends downs over the bowl so it gets more conduction for better efficiency. It seems pretty convection heavy as it is with the heater placement being above the bowl unlike in vapes such as the fusion, anvil or dynavap which are all stirless vapes.
I faced a similar dilemma back in April and decided to jump on an anvil instead of holding out for the tempest as much as I wanted to.
That being said I just got an yllvape IH 2.0 and it might be turning me off from using a torch for good, it can actually heat the anvil up to a 1 hit extraction and the flavor and convenience is better. One of the features that drew me to the tempest was the temp indicator on the cap but now that I am primarily using an IH that feature would be lost on me unless I pulled out a torch.
That all being said I will probably get hit with VAS when they drop and will get one to add to my arsenal.
YLL2.0 is the GOAT of IH so far. I haven't touched a torch, wand, my wall unit, thr yll2.0 kills them. Thr wattage adjustment options and boost mode...bro, it's bonkers.
I had to return my first YLL2.0 because it was defective…it worked, kind of, and then just died!
Got my replacement yesterday and wow! Really like it, but still getting the hang of it… doing 7 sec on 60W and that hits good after a warmup cycle!
I wasnt prepared for all the exess gunk buildup in the cap tho! When hitting it with the torch the bowl is almost totally clean after, but with the IH the CCD gets totally clogged after 7-10 cycles….have to hit it empty with the torch to clear it, and then i get a couple of hits that is like smoking hash…
I usually only clean maybe once every 1-2 weeks, but i got a feeling i Will have to clean them way more often when using the IH!
I’m pretty excited for tempest. Seems very refined. Will definitely wait the first batch out with all the tiny features packed into its cap I imagine some hiccups. I own anvil and it is nice.
If you have a Fusion, just wait my man.
If not, you will still buy the Tempest and it's gonna make a hell of a hole in your wallet buying those 2.

Don't think it will. The point is that it is a "full" convection, portable ball vape. Its supposed to be convection heavy.
