They cant even control regular tobacco cigarettes. I got off the elevator to my nonsmoking floor and there was a woman standing right there, walking up and down the hallway, circling in and out of the elevator area, just smoking away in front of all of the no smoking signs.
Oh, the casinos will enforce it on their customers. I had my do not disturb on the handle for a couple of days, security did their check of the room in the morning. Told them I was fine. They came back up in the evening while I was out. I was locked out of my room when I got back and they came up to let me in and gave me a warning because edible packaging was in the room. If I was caught violating their policy anymore, I would be asked to leave the hotel and not be able to stay at any of their other properties.

Casinos are controlled by Gaming which is federal, so they follow federal laws. But keep in mind consuming marijuana is technically illegal everywhere in vegas except, the property you LIVE ON. ....... even tho people smoke everywhere on the strip. Personal use only & don't carry pounds. But if an officer or anyone interacts with you, you need to comply because it's their job to follow the law. Even tho no one really cares, except if you are driving. DO NOT SMOKE AND DRIVE. Very strict here about that.
I was smoking a joint before the Bring me the Horizon concert at Fontaine Bleau the other night. I was outside almost to the street and the security came out and said I couldn’t smoke anywhere near the hotel or risk life time ban. I just walked over to Circus and smoked over there with no problem.

Absolutely. I never sit down near a smoker and I bring a portable fan with me to point at smokers that sit next to me. And yes, I'm a pot smoker. But I don't smoke in casinos out of courtesy to others.
I feel the same way , I get migraines very easily from smells , cigarettes, cigars , weed, etc . People that smoke think no one else can smell them that bad but I can smell them a block away, and I’m not the one negatively affected by it, a lot of people I talk to can’t stand the smell

The keyword is legal. It is not legal to smoke in public or in casinos, including rooms. Does everyone do it? Sure. But the casinos cannot “allow” it.

Casinos are controlled by Gaming which is federal, so they follow federal laws. But keep in mind consuming marijuana is technically illegal everywhere in vegas except, the property you LIVE ON. ....... even tho people smoke everywhere on the strip. Personal use only & don't carry pounds. But if an officer or anyone interacts with you, you need to comply because it's their job to follow the law. Even tho no one really cares, except if you are driving. DO NOT SMOKE AND DRIVE. Very strict here about that.

I was smoking a joint before the Bring me the Horizon concert at Fontaine Bleau the other night. I was outside almost to the street and the security came out and said I couldn’t smoke anywhere near the hotel or risk life time ban. I just walked over to Circus and smoked over there with no problem.

I see people standing outside the front door of the 3 casinos I work at smoking weed all the time passing it around. No one cares, I have seen hotel staff compliment them on the quality tbh.
Casinos allow live-streamers to just waltz through the gambling areas, should be more worried about cheating and being recorded without consent.
