Looks like some kind of pickling cucumber to me. That is a good size to pick, you want to get them before the seeds mature or they get bitter and tough.
But God forbid, don't pour vinegar over them, just make them fermented with water and salt, a bit of dill and horseradish. And if you want to eat them, just peel them and eat them like normal cucumbers from the supermarket, you can also cut them into slices, add a pinch of salt, pepper, chopped chives and mix with cream. This salad is delicious for hot days.
What is your guys’ review on growing cucumbers in a tomato cage? Thought I could try curly bean poles but realizing they climb a little more laterally for them.

Yeah, and it signals the plant that it is done making seeds, no need for more cucumbers.

This was my guess as well.

Generically, a pickling type. National Pickling, Boston Pickling, Wisconsin SMR, or Homemade are the common types.
Sumter, cross country too
My guess would be some type of Russian variety for pickling. They look to be ready.
National pickling cucumber. Pick small. They go yellow and bitter easily. And they grow better on side vines.
Pickling cucumber
that looks like "cournichon" variety , great for picle since they are very firm and crunchy ...
I have some Boston Pickling going right now, and that looks like a fat version of that. So pick maybe a day or two earlier than that.
