Hey, I also play these games as singleplayer games and I actually like both of them pretty equally. I find that they are completely different, with Soulmask being similiar to Conan Exiles (which is similiar to ARK) and Enshrouded being similiar to Valheim, maybe a bit of V Rising. In Enshrouded you can modify the terrain to your own liking, so you can mine pretty much like in minecraft, where in soulmask I'm not sure, but I don't think there's such an option. NPCs in Enshrouded are simply statues, where Soulmask feels a bit more alive. Shit tbh I feel like there ain't a good way to compare these two as in my opinion they differ by a lot? Soulmask feels more like a city builder and in Enshrouded there's a story to follow with many quests and stuff like that

thank for the answer Based on this assumption, I think it is more relevant to wait for the release of Enshrouded before taking it.

I don't know if I'd recommend waiting per se. I mean, if you want to... but the game flows very well with the content that it has already. You just get to the current "end" and that's that. You wait then for the new content. I had a ton of fun playing what's there so far. Just starting SoulMask and digging it already.
