I always used to prefer an Xbox controller because I never felt comfortable with the PlayStation controller—the thumbsticks being next to each other felt weird to me. However, ever since I got a PS5, I'm not so sure anymore. Honestly, both controllers are very comfortable for me to use at this point. But if I had to pick one favorite controller that I could use on all platforms, it would be the Xbox 360 controller—I freaking loved that thing.
One thing I always miss, no matter what first-party "normal"/basic controller I buy, is back buttons. At this point, it should just be a basic feature on any and all first-party controllers and not be exclusive to "pro" controllers. Once you've used a controller with back buttons, you'll always miss them. Hopefully, that's something next-gen consoles will include, though I highly doubt it.
Hmm, I used to have an elite controller and I never utilized the rear buttons. Shitteh deal, I’ll have to at some point I feel it would help me a lot with certain games. The only game I play really where it would help me would be call of duty, I play rocket league but wouldn’t help me much there.
Long story short, I agree lol
Yeah, I play a lot of action and souls-like games too, so having those back buttons for dodging and usually jumping or healing is awesome. On PC, I use an 8BitDo Ultimate controller, and when I switch back to my PS5, I instinctively start pressing the back buttons to dodge or something since I'm so used to it but of course they're not there. I was looking at buying the new PS5 Pro controller, or whatever it's called, but I don't fancy spending 230 euros on it—that's a bit too ridiculous, in my opinion, xD.
Preferred controller is Xbox. PS5 just feels bulky and I like the positioning of the sticks and D-pad better on the Xbox controller. I played Playstation mostly from PS1-PS2 and then I got an Xbox 360, One and Series X. I may be biased as well
I like keyboard and mouse for shooters or games that require precision and don't rely heavily on analog input. Things like racing games or other things that work better if you can apply analog input between 0 and 1, I prefer a controller for
As a competitive smash player, I have no idea what the obsession with GameCube controllers are in the community. It provides no advantage or anything, I just don’t get it. Pro controller also works great for any game on the switch, while a GCC does not
For me at least it's the button layout. I wish they would make a controller with modern features and modern ergonomics, but keep the Gamecube face button layout
I was gonna say this. It has the motion and haptics of the playstation, and the comfortable form factor of the xbox, and it has nice clicky buttons and the dpad is great for fighting games. A very good all-rounder, but the only issue is the lack of analogue triggers.
The little notched on the left thumb stick on gamecube controller make it easy to aim tilts up and down same with c stick. Plus most of the pros grew up using it for melee and all the other smash games
this! i absolutely love the switch controller. i dont use controller unless im playing a 2d game, rpg, or falls guys. theres just something so comfortable about them.
Same here, I went wii u pro -> xbone -> 8bitdo ultimate. The xbone one was absolutely the worst of the 3. Bad battery life (plus you need to keep AA's on hand), worse ergonomics, and didn't last nearly as long as the wii u pro one. I haven't had the 8bitdo long enough to know for sure about longevity but it definitely feels sturdier than the xbone controller. I would have gotten a switch pro if they didn't have such a bad reputation developing stick drift.
im with fine with either PS and Xbox gamepads... but i use xbox more since it's more readily supported by PC
mouse and KB, i use for games that are heavy on manual aiming
and of course, i have my razer panthera arcade stick for fighting games
these are my controllers
oh and i have a switch too and their gamepad... it's not ideal, but i make it work
any game with that relies on manual aiming... i use mouse and KB
played RE8 for example using mouse and KB
would have been annoying aiming with gamepad for that
remnant 1 and 2 as well, played with mouse and KB
By far the Xbox controller. The ps4 one felt way too long but the ps5 dualsense is 100x better. I will always say the the sticks being offset feels better, I always didn’t really know why but it’s because of the D pad position. Taking your thumb off the Xbox stick to hit the d pad is natural because it’s low but the PlayStation controller just feels so weird when you go to the D pad idk why
Unparalleled in it's time. Used to be my all time favorite controller
Truly a shame that they probably don't have anything like it that could work with a PC effectively today
Xbox elite 2 - I just wish the thumbsticks were swappable because they are not durable.
The 4 programmable paddles on the back are awesome though, and the battery life is amazing.
Playstation. I like symmetry. I don't like the joycons and switch controllers because they change the button order, so I get confusion from playing something like Brawlhalla which is on both PS and Nintendo Switch.
I've been a fan of the Xbox controllers since the 360. PlayStation have always seemed flimsy, like I'd snap them. However, the ps5 controller is the best I've ever used. Absolutely brilliant. So comfortable and the tech is amazing!
dualsense in every aspect is the perfect controller for me
I don't even own a ps5 I bought the dualsense for my pc and (aside from a couple games) it works well with most games, it's comfortable and in general I just like it
edit: tbf I did mod the controller with extremrate parts like backbuttons, leds and some cometic stuff and I also got a bigger capacity battery and still have a few different mods planned to do but even out if the box I like thr dualsense
Playstation 4 because the angle on the edges of the xbox is too sharp and Dualsense is too big. I play claw and appreciate the ability to get the D-Pad with your left index finger.
I like Xbox for shooters, PlayStation for everything else. Basically I don't care much for PlayStation joysticks but I love the rest of the button layouts, except for shooters where you have to hit the trigger a lot, the Xbox controller has a nice trigger that feels more realistic and intuitive vs the flatter PlayStation one. I do think it's improved over the years, but still sub par for shooters. It's ironic because I can't stand the roundness of the Xbox buttons.... Go figure
Nintendo controllers have always been... weird. Super Nintendo was probably their best one.
PS5 by a mile. But I’m considering getting an Xbox controller. I just built my first PC and it bothers me that the button prompts don’t match the PS controller. So for that reason alone I may force myself to use a controller I don’t like as much.
The Play Station is the most comfortable to me, however due to button mapping problems for PC, I’ve learned to like the Xbox controller since the button icons are correct.
DualShock 4 has always just perfectly melted into my hands. I think a lot of it is because I’ve grown up with PlayStation all my life and just recently started using a 360 controller for some PC games, but my controller of choice will always be a DualShock 4
PS5, but I'll admit to a degree of bias.
PS1 is my first system, and PS2 was what I spent the most time with growing up, so it's always been somewhat awkward to me for the primary movement thumbstick to be that much further away when using the Xbox line of controllers.
I grew up on PlayStation 1-3 and even had a DS and a WII, never taking into account the comfort of the controls, then when I was in high school all my friends had Xbox’s so I went down and bought one myself, so since around 2015 I’ve been using an Xbox controller even for the PC. Until last year, when I caved and bought a PS5 controller, and it felt like it was perfectly molded for my hands, the size, the shape, all the buttons are just in the right spot, it is perfection. Mad respect for Xbox for being the pioneers of actually usable controllers for a decade or two but to my hands they can’t compete with this.
I love the latest Xbox Series controller but I wish it was less clicky. Feels great but can annoy of there are other people in thr house.
X360 had soft buttons and that was great.
Don't have much experience with DualSense but it feels awesome in the hands
I've been using a PXN 9607X controller which is for Switch/PC, it might not be a well known brand but I absolutely love it! It feels so good in my hands, it's the most comfortable controller I've ever held.
I've always had bigger hands (and I grew up with Xbox) so I've personally like Xbox controllers more, now. I almost always play in a keyboard and mouse so it doesn't matter much lol
Switch Pro controller. PS5 is my primary console but when I played Metroid prime with a pro controller it just felt so good. I really hope it’s comparable with the switch successor.
I still say the peak controller design was Xbox 360.
I don't know why but the two analog stick design of the Playstation has never felt right for me.
Switch Pro Controller, Xbox controller... They figured it out pretty easily.
Modern controllers? Series X controller. Any controller? Xbox 360 controller, but Series X is still second to that one. The texture makes holding it really good.
I feel like the PlayStation controller with Xbox thumb stick location was the best. I liked the PlayStation layout but I never liked how far I needed to reach my thumbs
Xbox controller all the way. If it's a shooter, I'm using keyboard and mouse, but for things like God of War and Elden Ring, controller just feels better
Xbox for sure. Especially the new one with the grip pattern they have on it. The size feels best in my hands over the PS5 which feels too bulky and the switch pro which feels a bit too small.
Xbox. It just feels natural. I completely understand why people prefer the symmetrical layout of a PlayStation controller, but it makes my hands cramp.
I'd say the xbox controller because I haven't used any new Playstation controllers, and the Nintendo switch controller is too small, and the sticks never feel smooth.
I was always more partial to the Xbox controller. Never liked Sony's controllers and the early Dual Shock would make my hands hurt.
PS5 tho, that controller is great. I'll probably always prefer the Xbox because I like the sticks being offset more, but I have no gripes at all with the new PS5 controller design. It's comfortable, no longer makes my hands hurt, and it feels great in my hands. Well done, Sony.
Switch pro controller. Idk. It’s just comfortable, has a really good battery life, and is practically feature complete outside of the triggers being digital and not analog. I genuinely use my pro controller for every game I play on Steam.
For me it's the new (smaller) xbox controllers. Ever since I've started using the one that came with my series x I can no longer hold the older ones properly. Sure, the size difference is miniscule compared to the jump between the bulky og xbox controller and the (at the time) sleek 360 one, but man is it comfortable to have it be so perfectly sized. The ps5 controller is great as well, but it doesn't fit into your hands as neatly, and honestly? The harder trigger pulls are more of a nuisance than a feature. It feels like you're fighting your controller and if you pull too hard it feels like you're breaking it
Xbox is more comfortable for me.
When I had the first Xbox, my little hands couldn't fit around their big-ass bulky controllers. My parents ended up buying me a PS2. But when the 360 came out, my hands had grown, and the controller had been redesigned to not be so bulky. That's when I started my loyalty to Xbox.
I am a Sony Fanboy since the 90s, even beyond consoles. The Xbox360 controller is perfect for my hands, and have used it since 2009. In 2021 sadly I had to switch to the Xbox1 controller but still not bad.
I have both and prefer the xbox controller. It just feels more ergonomic and solid.
But the ps controller is better because I can use the claw grip to run around, change the camera, and mess with the d-pad at the same time. Also that touchpad thing was awesome in Ghost of Tsushima. It's a bummer that was pretty much the only game that ever used it for more than a menu button.
I preferred the 360 controller when it's was ps3 vs 360. But then I got a ps4 and waaayyy preferred that controller. Now I play on the ps5 and love that controller. Prefer it waayy more than any Xbox controller
Nintendo switch pro just feels perfect shape wise but the buttons and sticks are meh. 8bitdo ultimate has the best buttons triggers and sticks but in a weird square shape.
For me it's the Nintendo switch Pro controller. I like how wide it is and I love the texture and the joysticks, and I love that it kind of goes more straight down than angled I always felt weird with my hands angled like the Xbox
As much as I don’t really care for any X-BOX’s, I really hate to admit that the X-BOX 360 controller was so damn comfortable. I really didn’t find the SNES very comfortable. I never really cared for the Playstation ones but the PS5 controller is really comfortable and my current favorite.
Gamecube controller is the most comfortable for me.
A lot of people say it's too small, but even if I have huge hands, it's still the only controller I can play all day without getting cramps in my hands 😅
For me I have two. The genesis six button controller for retro games and ps3 controller for everything else. The ps3 controller feels like a toy because it's so light but it just melts into my hand. Ps4 controller has better buttons but the back of the controller is too thick and doesn't feel very nice. Also the annoying light is a minus.
Xbox controllers are almost perfect controllers but the d-pad is basically useless if you want to do something else than navigate menus.
Other honorable mentions would be the gamecube controller and steam deck
PS5 controller for me. Ideal and form fitting for my hands. I like all the playstation controllers from the dual shock on but I also liked the 360 and OG X Box huge controller. That one was perfect for Halo.
Xbox. Having started on the console gen the 360 was in I played on 2 generations of friends PlayStations with those tiny ass controller (I have big hands) and it was incredibly uncomfortable. Xbox is just a lot more comfy. Ps5 fixed the issue for the most part but I still prefer Xbox
Mouse and keyboard. I used to play only Xbox and loved the Xbox One controller but then I got a PC and have never looked back. There are like a handful of games that only make sense with a controller like racing games, certain third person RPGs, skate 3 and some fighting games. Everything else is mouse and keyboard
I got an Xbox Elite Series 2 about a year ago and it is by far the most comfortable controller I have ever had. Honorable mention for the Switch Pro Controller.
Xbox and that’s coming from a lifetime PlayStation player. Fingers sit perfectly with the joysticks, smaller controller, last longer then PlayStation controllers (my opinion)
I use an 8BitDo Pro 2 (it has a PS layout) while my fiancée uses a PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S (which has the Xbox layout).
So as you can see, both layouts are being used in our household, I'm just a sucker for the PS layout, personally :)
I think the N64 controller is incredibly ergonomic. It has one of the best D-Pads of any controller ever despite very few games using it. The 3 prong design allowed for games that don't use all the buttons to have left hand dominant accessibility options (ahead of it's time for the 90s). The only downside is the sticks wearing down over time, but if you maintain them well and don't play mario party or games that force you to circle-crank, even stick wear isn't as bad as the dualsense or joycon. Also idk if it's just a meme or if zoomers actually can't comprehend how to hold it, but you never have to use all 3 prongs for 1 game.
Xbox 360 Controllers. I have 20+, and I use them on my PCs. Excellent ergonomics and my hands don't cramp after hours of usage, unlike PS3 controllers (PS4 are slightly better), specially when using the triggers.
It blows my mind when I hear people say that a keyboard is more comfortable than a controller. More practical, for some games, sure but I don’t get how it’s more comfortable.
Xbox Elite 2 for bunnyhopping and healing quick in BRs, but I’m sure a six extra button battle beaver would be better, although I think they might have compatibility issues
I am fine with either but I think if forced to choose, I'd say the Xbox controller. The contour of the handles are way more comfortable to my hands. I'm a woman but I have long fingers and something about the larger grips is less taxing on me.
Not a fan of the stick placement of the Xbox controller. I never minded it until I got a PlayStation and understood how much more natural it felt with them at the same level
DualSense. Maybe it’s because I’m a basic bitch PS4 player but I like the fact that the D-Pad and buttons are where they are. It allows me to move forward in games while being able to access whatever binds those buttons access. It’s small things like that that really work for me
Dualsense is the best for me, it feels the most 'right' and comfortable. I just wish I didn't struggle to get it to work on PC games as much as I do.
Xbox's latest controller feels pretty solid. I use it a lot on PC and honestly enjoy it.
Gamecube and Switch Pro Controllers have also been pretty solid.
I think the worst controller i've used in a while those is the Joycons for switch. Without a controller grip accessory on that thing, it is painful for me to use. I have to put something on it cause it makes my hands start to cramp badly after like an hour on the switch itself.
It's funny actually. When sitting at my desk? Xbox controller 100%. But the way I sit on my futon with the controller resting on a pillow in my lap; the PS5 controller is better.
I don't get it either.
I always used to prefer an Xbox controller because I never felt comfortable with the PlayStation controller—the thumbsticks being next to each other felt weird to me. However, ever since I got a PS5, I'm not so sure anymore. Honestly, both controllers are very comfortable for me to use at this point.
The only problem I have with the 360 controller was the battery pack sticking out on the back. Other than that it was pretty much perfection.
Xbox controller, nerve damage limits my mobility in my left thumb so offset thumb sticks are much easier for me to use.
Glad that works out for you, genuinely.
Preferred controller is Xbox. PS5 just feels bulky and I like the positioning of the sticks and D-pad better on the Xbox controller. I played Playstation mostly from PS1-PS2 and then I got an Xbox 360, One and Series X. I didn’t mind the ps1-3 controllers at all honestly sure they were small but I guess my hands are generally not the biggest either they are smaller
That's my issue with the Dualsense, it feels like an Xbox controller. Too bulky and the buttons don't have the flatness I like
Nintendo switch pro controller. Idk why it just feels the best in my hand.
Same. As a bonus, it drives my smash-loving friends crazy when I say that GameCube isn't the best lol
As a competitive smash player, I have no idea what the obsession with GameCube controllers are in the community. It provides no advantage or anything, I just don’t get it. Pro controller also works great for any game on the switch, while a GCC does not
Big buttons and easier ability to play claw

this! i absolutely love the switch controller. i dont use controller unless im playing a 2d game, rpg, or falls guys. theres just something so comfortable about them.
The battery life alone is something the competition can envy
Ps4 controller was just right for me. Literally perfect.
I agree. It’s so sensitive and fits just right.
You know I really liked the Wii U pro controller. But these days I rock an 8bitdo Ultimate. It's pretty good
Hmm these are ones I’ve never held or gotten much time with🤔
Love the 8bitdo
I’ve never gotten the chance to hold one but I can just tell that the Wii U pro controller is super comfortable
Same here, I went wii u pro -> xbone -> 8bitdo ultimate. The xbone one was absolutely the worst of the 3. Bad battery life (plus you need to keep AA's on hand), worse ergonomics, and didn't last nearly as long as the wii u pro one. SNES
Original nes controller. Yea, the rectangle. *bitchessssss*
By far the Xbox controller. The ps4 one felt way too long but the ps5 dualsense is 100x better. I will always say the the sticks being offset feels better, I always didn’t really know why but it’s because of the D pad position. Honestly a good take, I agree.
Xbox controller or pro switch
Gamecube controller
Unparalleled in it's time. Used to be my all time favorite controller Truly a shame that they probably don't have anything like it that could work with a PC effectively today
They do, they're "knock-offs" but they work well enough. Just search gamecube controller usb.
Loved it at the time. Went back to use them recently. Too small, triggers are not very easy to press, and the c stick feels cheap and not responsive.
Xbox, asymmetry is so important. Elite 2 for FPS games.
8bitdo Ultimate just feels... I dunno, right.
Xbox 360 controller
It's near flawless in everything except the d-pad. Precision input is unreliable with it, which is a problem in games like Mortal Kombat
Xbox is my favorite, second is dual shock 4. Their new one is just too big.
DualShock 4 was one of my favourites, loved that controller.
Xbox controller. It’s why I left PlayStation
Apart from mouse and keyboard, Xbox. But it was a problem when in Cyberpunk I tried to dodge right, heal, run away.
I’ve been using an Xbox 360 controller on PC. It’s hard to imagine using a different controller.
The PS4 DualShock controller that I split in half getting the Touhou Genso Rondo Platinum.
My mouse
The WiiU Gamepad, followed by the DualSense
1. Xbox 360 2. PS5 3. Atari Controller
Xbox elite 2 - I just wish the thumbsticks were swappable because they are not durable. The 4 programmable paddles on the back are awesome though, and the battery life is amazing.

Probably the OG Xbox S controller, always hated the Playstation stick layout, I have long thumbs so moving right & looking left they hit each other.
Wii u pro controller or the gamepad.
Playstation. I like symmetry. I don't like the joycons and switch controllers because they change the button order, so I get confusion from playing something like Brawlhalla which is on both PS and Nintendo Switch.
Wii U Pro Controller

I prefer the PS controller. I just never got used to the offset thumb sticks.
Dual shock 1-3. Fits my hands perfect everything else feels awkward. Small hands.
I like Xbox for shooters, PlayStation for everything else. The Play Station is the most comfortable to me, however due to button mapping problems for PC, I’ve learned to like the Xbox controller since the button icons are correct.
PlayStation. But I’m biased because I’ve never owned an Xbox console, and the last Nintendo console I really devoted any time to was probably the N64.
Ps5, it fits well in the hands bc of the curved design and the joysticks are right next to each other which I enjoy.
f--- controller bias, I just use whatever's available. But I am most comfortable with Play Station controllers.
I’ve always preferred the Xbox controller from the 360 on, but the DualSense is probably my favourite now
DualShock 4 has always just perfectly melted into my hands. I think a lot of it is because I’ve grown up with PlayStation all my life and just recently started using a 360 controller for some PC games, but my controller of choice will always be a DualShock 4

Although I've used the Nintendo Pro, Xbox, and PlayStation, the PlayStation is my favorite. I just like my thumbs being level. All are great, though.
Switch Pro controller. PS5 is my primary console but when I played Metroid prime with a pro controller it just felt so good. I really hope it’s comparable with the switch successor.
I have the Xbox controller but I prefer my roommates ps5 controller, I have big hands so the slimmer Xbox controller kinda hurts after a while.
GameCube controller feels like it hugs your hands.
I still say the peak controller design was Xbox 360. I don't know why but the two analog stick design of the Playstation has never felt right for me. Switch Pro Controller, Xbox controller... They figured it out pretty easily.

I feel like the PlayStation controller with Xbox thumb stick location was the best. I liked the PlayStation layout but I never liked how far I needed to reach my thumbs
Xbox all the way from the Duke to the Elite 2
The ColecoVision controller for sure
Xbox for sure
Xbox controller all the way. If it's a shooter, I'm using keyboard and mouse, but for things like God of War and Elden Ring, controller just feels better
Xbox controller feels so natural even tho I play mouse and keyboard most of the time, but if I have to pick, I'd pick an Xbox controller
Never liked the offset joysticks on the Xbox so I have to go with the ps5 controller
Ps5 then og xbox controller
I've been rocking the same Xbox 360 controller for 15 years, best $40 I've ever spent
Ps1 controller held backwards. if you know, you know.
There was something about the Gamecube's Wavebird controller that I really enjoyed the feeling of.
Xbox 360 I switched to PC as a teenager and will forever be nostalgic of the design plus it fits my hands perfectly
most comfortable is xbox for me
I really like the dualsense. Best controller I have used in the past 20 years of gaming
Remote controller
Up to this Gen it was always Xbox but ps5 is vastly superior now. Both in ergonomics and feature set.
Azeron 🙃
Xbox for sure. Especially the new one with the grip pattern they have on it. The size feels best in my hands over the PS5 which feels too bulky and the switch pro which feels a bit too small.
Switch Pro Controller
The Google stadia controller was the most comfortable controller I ever owned.
Use to be a die hard ps4 fan until i bought a xbox for 120$.... xbox one controller for life now.
Ps5 dual sense GameCube Xbox 360
Xbox 360
Same, I've been on Xbox most of my life and more comfortable with that layout. And the smaller size of the series controllers is nice as well
Nintendo Switch controller
Xbox. It just feels natural. I completely understand why people prefer the symmetrical layout of a PlayStation controller, but it makes my hands cramp.
Xbox elite controller by far but i really like the switch pro controller.
I'd say the xbox controller because I haven't used any new Playstation controllers, and the Nintendo switch controller is too small, and the sticks never feel smooth.
Xbox I've gotten used to the thumb stick placement. PS5 is awkward and bulky to me
xbox controller - no long explanation. Just the one I am used to and play with on my PC. My son uses the PS5 controller on his PC
Xbox controller. Playstation controllers make my hands cramp.
Switch pro controller. Idk. It’s just comfortable, has a really good battery life, and is practically feature complete outside of the triggers being digital and not analog. I genuinely use my pro controller for every game I play on Steam.
hot take (?) Nintendo pro controller is perfect for my hands.
steam controller
No other than Xbox. Even that new PS5 controller is still bad ergonomically
Xbox. Haven’t used a PS5 controller but the ones before always felt too small in my hands
Its called a flatbox, long story.
i grew up on ps4 (i wasn’t allowed to play the xbox 360 much) but now have had a ps5 since about release and got used to that
Switch pro controller
I have the urge to clean your keyboard!
Personally, I just prefer Xbox. I like having the joysticks more spread out and the triggers feel better that and way better. Ergonomics
It feels like you're fighting your controller and if you pull too hard it feels like you're breaking it
Xbox
Xbox. It’s one of the reasons I chose Xbox over PlayStation.
Since I only got an xbox I say XBOX controller
Ps5
Xbox is more comfortable for me. When I had the first Xbox, my little hands couldn't fit around their big-ass bulky controllers. My parents ended up buying me a PS2. But when the 360 came out, my hands had grown, and the controller had been redesigned to not be so bulky. That's when I started my loyalty to Xbox.
Xbox Controller
Razer Wolverine feels great and has the best buttons for fast paced games.
8bitdo + SNES style
Switch pro controller
Dual Sense Edge
imo the best console would be xbox with sony exclusives and a dualshock three, i *will* die on this hill
mkb then ps5 for the games where its kinda required (like elden ring)
Mouse and keyboard cause I can’t aim a controller for shit
They are both great everything since the ps3 Xbox 360 has been S tier wish one day we can get mouse and keys bords that comfortable
Duelshock 4, still the best controller Sony has made to date
Xbox
Any of the xbox ones from 360 to present. Though i am primarily a playstation guy, the xbox ones feel a lot better in the hands
I prefer the staggered sticks, but I do like both.
I preferred the 360 controller when it's was ps3 vs 360. But then I got a ps4 and waaayyy preferred that controller. Now I play on the ps5 and love that controller. Prefer it waayy more than any Xbox controller
Honestly the GameCube was by far. It was weird
The Fat Controller from Thomas the Tank Engine. Comforting childhood memories
Probably the Gamecube controller for me. The shoulder buttons are so damn satisfying to press
Yes
I want to use my Xbox... But there's no Gyro So I end up sticking with my Switch Pro controller
The top one
I like the tv remote, but I prefer the keyboard. Maybe not what you were expecting. (Ik its not a tv remote but pretend that it is)
Nintendo switch pro just feels perfect shape wise but the buttons and sticks are meh. 8bitdo ultimate has the best buttons triggers and sticks but in a weird square shape.
GameCube controller. When it first came out I was dumbfounded by that big ass A button. I get it now. Give it a second Z button and it’s perfect.
Wii U Gamepad, if you know you know
Playstation 4.
DualSense
I miss the OG Xbox controller
PS5 controller by far. It feels like PlayStation controllers grew up with me, seriously the PS3 controller feels tiny in my hands now.
Xbox elite 2 cuz it has 4 paddles. Lol
If it ain’t a mouse and keys it ain’t for meeeeee’s
I've only ever used an Xbox controller, so I wouldn't know.
The absolute most comfortable controllers I’ve used are the wiiu gamepad, wiiu pro controller, and original Xbox s controller.
PS5. I like having the joysticks side by side and dpad same height as buttons.
ps5
I got an Xbox Elite Series 2 about a year ago and it is by far the most comfortable controller I have ever had. Honorable mention for the Switch Pro Controller.
Xbox and that’s coming from a lifetime PlayStation player. Fingers sit perfectly with the joysticks, smaller controller, last longer then PlayStation controllers (my opinion)
8bitdo Ultimate 2.4 ghz Fucking love this controller
Ps4/5
Xbox. But both Xbox and PS controllers are better the Nintendo ones.
Xbox 360 Controllers. I have 20+, and I use them on my PCs. Excellent ergonomics and my hands don't cramp after hours of usage, unlike PS3 controllers (PS4 are slightly better), specially when using the triggers.
Xbox. I've never liked the sticks being low on the controller like the ps1s it hurts my thumbs. The Xbox is more natural feeling to me.
Steam Deck controls have ruined me. It beats any controller I own or have owned.
It blows my mind when I hear people say that a keyboard is more comfortable than a controller. More practical, for some games, sure but I don’t get how it’s more comfortable.
Where'd you get the stick covers? My roommates kitten chewed on my thumbs thumbsticks and the rubber is uncomfortable now
Keyboard and mouse, I rarely use a controller.
I've been a Sony Pony for years, but I recently bought an 8bitdo ultimate for my PC and it's my new favorite. It's closer to a switch pro controller
DualShock 4's the best feeling controller IMO.
Xbox Elite 2 for bunnyhopping and healing quick in BRs, but I’m sure a six extra button battle beaver would be better, although I think they might have compatibility issues
Xbox though I will connect a mouse and keyboard to the console I'm using if I can
I am fine with either but I think if forced to choose, I'd say the Xbox controller. The contour of the handles are way more comfortable to my hands. I'm a woman but I have long fingers and something about the larger grips is less taxing on me.
N64... And no I'm not kidding.
The big sexy one behind the two smaller less sexy ones
