😡😤 I was so pissed with those latter ones. I recently downloaded an emulator so I could play those 1st 3, so fuggin good and then it just turned into run and gun style games completely defacing everything splinter cell was supposed to be imo. Those 1st 3 though were classics
And most likely working on Ghost 2. They did say not being opposed about revisiting old franchises but only if they had anything good for them in mind. Honestly, I don't see they revisiting Sly Cooper any time soon. Infamous is one franchise that would be awesome to get a Reboot/Remake of.
Right!???! I think games like Far Cry and Ghost recon stole their market. But a classic mission based open world with destructible environments… why not???
I am a SOCOM diehard, but for some reason think that they couldn’t replicate it in proper fashion if they tried. I would like to see another Mercenaries game as well
That was Privateer 2 the darkening! But the open world structure was total Han Solo fantasy fulfillment. Privateer was actually one of the first pc games I’ve ever played when I got my first computer in 1993. Fell immediately in love . I had no idea games could be so open and free structured … I’ve been chasing those vibes ever since.
I think I skipped Privateer one - but I played WC one and two on the SNES. I must have been about 13 when I played the FMV laden greatness of Heart of the Tiger (was that the title?) but I got all the sequels - even Prophecy!
Heart of the tiger was next level! Featuring Luke Skywalker as Blair! (With a bit of paunch, guess he didn’t keep up with his Jedi training!) he dropped the weight for WC4 I just thought it was humorous
It was immense, with that last mission when you're cloaked and have to drop that bomb on the Kilrathi planet!
I had a Cytek Cyborg 3D stick, man I miss those days!
I want THQ Nordic to take the rights from EA to make UFC video games because EA has consistently made a bad game 5 times in a row now
Seeing THQ's UFC Undisputed come back would be incredible
Exactly @ Breath of Fire and Lufia. <3
As long as they don’t pull that “reimagining” nonsense that they did with Curse of the Sinistrals.
Also yes to Skies of Arcadia.
Sleeping Dogs
F-Zero
Sly Cooper
Noire Franchise from Rockstar, they don't even have it set in LA they could go to other noire settings like Chicago or New York if they wanted.
Deus Ex & also Fuck Embarcer
those are franchises I would want a revival in.
It definitely would be, especially if it was 1920s or 1930s Chicago during prohibition playing as detective working in a very corrupt police department during that era.
Dungeon Keeper.
I tried to play War for the Overworld, but aside from Richard Ridings' superb voice acting, that game had none of the bright and delightful colors and humor of Dungeon Keeper II, which I still play thanks to gog.com.
Let me clarify. I don’t want a new Sly Cooper game. I don’t really trust that they could make one as good as the original trilogy.
What I WOULD like is for the OG trilogy to get the remake treatment that Crash and Spyro did, while obviously preserving the artstyle, not looking like Crash and Spyro. Cel-shading and all that good stuff.
Bonus points if it gets ported to other platforms besides PlayStation. Do I think any of this will actually happen? No. But that’s my dream, anyway.
Sly Cooper, infamous, resistance, prototype, jak and Dexter, Dishonored (technically not dead just on extended hiatus)
Games that were one offs but has series potential: the order 1886, daysgone
Shivers. It was essentially Myst meets Goosebumps back in the mid 90’s. Not only is the atmosphere and puzzles great, the music is iconic too. It would be perfect as a vr game
ANY of the following: F.E.A.R. Killzone Resistance
Command and Conquer Time Splitters Halo Wars
Ohhhh a new time splitters would make me pop off harder than the destroy all humans remake did
Not a revival but Trepang^2 is a spiritual successor to F.E.A.R.
Resistance: Fall of man Don’t worry bout the series. Just give me a remake of 1.
Justice for Nathan Hale
Yes to Resistance. A remaster would be fine enough
Splinter Cell
But like the first three, afterwards it got too action-y
True but still I liked Conviction and Blacklist despite their flaws
Love Every Game of the series but for me, pandara tomorrow was the weakest
I loved all of them p much. I prefer the slow stealth but the action elements can be fun
😡😤 I was so pissed with those latter ones. I recently downloaded an emulator so I could play those 1st 3, so fuggin good and then it just turned into run and gun style games completely defacing everything splinter cell was supposed to be imo. Those 1st 3 though were classics
What emulator? Looking to do the same
Burnout (not paradise)
Burnout 3 and Revenge are amazing, especially burnout 3
WE ARE THE LAZY GENERATION
Dominator was amazing too. If they remastered those for ps4, I'd buy at full price individually
I forgot about Dominator! For some reason I never really played it. I think I got it for PS2 when I already had a 360 so I hardly played it
you beat me to it, on both counts...
I liked paradise and still play it ( the servers are still online but yes I agree would love a modern one
Sly Cooper
Yeah! What is sucker punch up to lately?
They did Ghost of Tsushima
And most likely working on Ghost 2. They did say not being opposed about revisiting old franchises but only if they had anything good for them in mind. Honestly, I don't see they revisiting Sly Cooper any time soon. Infamous is one franchise that would be awesome to get a Reboot/Remake of.
Happy 10th cake day!
Legacy of Kain - Blood Omen and Soul Reaver
Dino Crisis
Came here to say this! "This isn't a joke you idiot! We were just attacked by a big-ass lizard!!"
Final Fantasy Tactics. I would have said Dead Rising but they literally announced a new “Deluxe Remaster” of DR1 earlier today.
I really wish that the supposed FFT remaster leak from a while back would finally come true. It’s probably my favorite game of all time.
SSX
"SSX: On Tour" was what I majored in at Uni
Dark cloud
Rogue Galaxy was also great and could be an incredible modern game if given love.
Army of two Jak and daxter
F-Zero. I don't think F-Zero 99 counts as a revival.
Same here. Even a GX remaster (with toned down difficulty) would do it for me.
Is that the one where you can build your own racer?
Yep
Star Fox and F-Zero
Star Fox did get a kind of sequel on the Switch with Starlink
Syphon Filter and SOCOM
Bring back Syphon Filter... as long as I can have a tazer and make bbq in the first level.
Bloody Roar
Yes please
poWER UUUUUUUUPPPP!!
Wing Commander Colony Wars True Crime Dead 2 Rights SOCOM Mercenaries Pro Evo Soccer
Would love to see another Mercenaries game!
Right!???! I think games like Far Cry and Ghost recon stole their market. But a classic mission based open world with destructible environments… why not???
New Mercenaries would go hard
I am a SOCOM diehard, but for some reason think that they couldn’t replicate it in proper fashion if they tried. I would like to see another Mercenaries game as well
Wing commander was freaking awesome! Played them all!
Privateer was my favorite!! But hell yeah !
With Chris Walken and Clive “GQ Man of the Year” Owen?
That was Privateer 2 the darkening! But the open world structure was total Han Solo fantasy fulfillment. Privateer was actually one of the first pc games I’ve ever played when I got my first computer in 1993. Fell immediately in love . I had no idea games could be so open and free structured … I’ve been chasing those vibes ever since.

It was immense, with that last mission when you're cloaked and have to drop that bomb on the Kilrathi planet! I had a Cytek Cyborg 3D stick, man I miss those days!
Me and my brothers fought over whose turn it was to play Privateer so much that our mom threw it away. Still one of the saddest days of my life.
Wing commander was so ahead of it's time
Colony Wars! Something about that game’s presentation was such a direct hit for me.
Came here to say Mercenaries. That was the first game I remember being completely blown away by how destructive the environment was.
Dark Cloud
Legacy of Kain Megaman Legends Splinter Cell Chrono Trigger Turok Fight Night Oddworld: Abes odyssey.
+1 for Turok. Cerebral bore!
I would LOVE a remake of Legends
Half-Life
Check out Black Mesa if you haven't.
This, and any Valve developed game period.
Prey (2006) I was so sad when they canceled the sequel for this
Dino Crisis. It’s time. RE is having WILD success with its remakes. That format, with dinosaurs. Please.
LittleBigPlanet
Castlevania 🥴
The first anime being successfully I can’t believe they still haven’t made a new game, series really deserves better
Deus Ex
I played Human Revolution but thats about it. What are some other good games in the franchise
Left 4 Dead. And no, B4B was not it.
B4b was... OK. Not great. Not terrible. Just OK. L4D2 was so fucking good.
It was too bland and flawed. They could have taken the L4D formula to new heights and we got an a-okay copycat.
Viewtiful Joe
Infamous
Guitar Hero/Rock Band With actual rock & metal music again.
I want THQ Nordic to take the rights from EA to make UFC video games because EA has consistently made a bad game 5 times in a row now Seeing THQ's UFC Undisputed come back would be incredible
Extreme G, Vigilante 8 & Rampage. Think of what they could do with those games with today's tech.
Second Vigilante 8, it would be insane. Also forgot about Rampage. Imaging attacking a city in 4k.
Vectorman.
Earthworm Jim and Toejam & Earl while we're at it!
Add in Boogerman, General Chaos, and Haunting
Haunting was fucking awesome once I figured out what to do lol
Eternal Darkness
A remake would be great
Suikoden, Breath of Fire, Lunar, Lufia, Chrono. And if one-offs count, Legend of Dragoon and Skies of Arcadia.
Breath of Fire III is one of my all time favorite games. I would love a remaster one day
Exactly @ Breath of Fire and Lufia. <3 As long as they don’t pull that “reimagining” nonsense that they did with Curse of the Sinistrals. Also yes to Skies of Arcadia.
Legend of Dragoon ❤️
Skies of Arcadia - this soooo bad. We're actually working on a spiritual successor of sorts. Doin our best to garner attention and raise funds.
Deus Ex.
Mega Man Legends.
PS All-Stars Battle Royale
Startropics.
Sleeping Dogs F-Zero Sly Cooper Noire Franchise from Rockstar, they don't even have it set in LA they could go to other noire settings like Chicago or New York if they wanted. Deus Ex & also Fuck Embarcer those are franchises I would want a revival in.
Oooh, a Chicago Noire would be awesome.
It definitely would be, especially if it was 1920s or 1930s Chicago during prohibition playing as detective working in a very corrupt police department during that era.
Legacy of Kain.
Syphon Filter
Front Mission. Battletech doesn't quite scratch that itch.
Mercenaries
Megaman Legends
Splinter Cell
Prototype.
Hopefully they’d fix the god awful physics I really like the games but something about the physics just bothers me
Dead Rising if they’re willing to throw out everything they did with 3 and 4. I still beat 1 and 2 every other year or so.
Legacy of Kain
Army Men
Give me that old school N64 nostalgic feel! The original was the best.
Banjo please. Either remake the old game or a whole new game
Gosh I hope tooie gets released on switch like kazooie
Have you tried Yooka-Laylee?
Tenchu stealth assassin
Onimusha.
Onimusha deserves so much.
I've been saying for years we need a new Onimusha.
Suikoden, and yeah, I played Eiyuden and liked it
Dungeon Keeper.
Thief. No One Lives Forever.
The original prey
Legacy of Kain
My guy Gwimbly hasn’t had a game in like twenty years, it just isn’t fair, man
I'm surprised no one has said Jak & Daxter.
Timesplitters, Crimson Skies, Vigilante 8. Earthbound.
Found the timesplitters comment :) yes!

Scrolled so far to see so.eone mention the one off, Days Gone.
jak and daxter
Jade Empire
It didn't even make it to franchise status but I so badly want Bioware to revisit this.
Parasite Eve and Dino Crisis
Does Halo count?
Gothic And please just give us a remaster with a better engine, no need to redesign or modernize the game. And keep the old voice acting!!
Pillars of Eternity. I really enjoyed the first two, and a third game could certainly wrap up the plot. Also Half-Life 3.
Up until this morning I would have said Dead Rising..
Rayman, more specific the 3d ones
MAG
Space Quest
Yo-Kai Watch. I know it isn’t fully dead, but it feels like it.
3DO-Army Men/Sarge’s Heros
rockman/megaman dash.
F.E.A.R, TOMBA!, Soul Reaver: Legacy of Kain, Spec-Ops, Pokémon Puzzle, Nightmare Creatures, Gex, Parasite Eve, Brave Fencher Mushashi, and Cold Fear.
Conker
TWISTED METAL! 🚗💥🚙
Rayman deserves another entry. Platformers just arent hugely profitable these days.
Shivers. It was essentially Myst meets Goosebumps back in the mid 90’s. Not only is the atmosphere and puzzles great, the music is iconic too. It would be perfect as a vr game
Earthbound
Deus Ex
Dungeon keeper soldier of fortune
Champions of Norrath!
Time Splitters or Ratchet and Clank
Fight Night
The Transformers Cybertron games. I’ll take a remaster, hell i’ll take the games just being purchasable again at this point. I just want them back.
Medal of honor the story mode of rising sun was what got me into the early call of duty game story modes
Bad company 2
Wing Commander Star Fox Jet Force Gemini Banjo Kazooie Dark Cloud Dino Crisis Turok
kingdom hearts
Suikoden
Star Fox A new 3D Donkey Kong game would be great but probably never gonna happen
Blinx
Timesplitters
Skylanders. If nothing else, then just to get to see aisles upon aisles of stocked Skylanders. Or for another season of Skylanders Academy!
Desert Strike/Jungle Strike etc. They’re probably not as fun as I remember, but I really liked those games back in the day.
Parasite Eve.

Shining series, specifically the strategy rpg ones like shining force Phantasy Star Skylanders
Overlord, first two were gems.

I mean, Halo. I know it’s not “ dead” but it is lol. It’s my favorite franchise of all time. Microsoft needs to pass it to another Dev. Please.
F.E.A.R. it was one of the best shooters played in middle school until the xbox got the red ring of death
Bonetown
