"Ashing a sesame bagel like a cigarette in front of the roomba" holy fuck this shit is gold Edit: Check out [Blue Chips 2](https://youtu.be/M1ji4qgTD6M?si=nX_teYrIOBtEKEVY) if you're unfamiliar with Action, these tweets are dead on

bryan_pieces

Yeah that was the peak

Gilgameshugga

"My gambling addiction has gotten me in trouble with increasingly obscure ethnic mafias to the point where I'm getting death threats in nearly dead languages" And "I play pickup basketball with the son of an Armenian butcher. I get discounts on various cuts of steaks." are two of my all time favourites.

bryan_pieces

That first one sounds like Dracula Flow videos

Skeetdaddle

Precisely! Put Statik Selektah on top of any of those clips and watch out

Bowman_van_Oort

I respectfully disagree Dracula would be the one sending the death threats in nearly dead languages

nermthewerm

OP comment forgot that he’s him

Gilgameshugga

He's always been him

sightlab

I mean I'm not familiar, but I do like this guy's sense of poetry a lot so far!

ExfilBravo

I love Bronson. He always talks like everything is so deep and its just some regular shit haha.

Indaflow

Made that Green Tea snack sound like he brought cold fusion to the basketball game.

jesushatedbacon

Crushed hard on her and now I forgot her name!

thegoodbadandsmoggy

These comments are both his lyrics right?

jesushatedbacon

Might as well be 🤷🏻

thegoodbadandsmoggy

They totally work

Joebebs

Your words conjured up my response from across nations

screamtracker

I would lied on the spot and said it was matcha sesame or something 😂

Syber50

He’s the nicest dude in real life too. Went to his show 10 years ago, and bumped into him in the airport the next morning. He chatted with me about the city, what he did the previous night (partied), and where he was flying off to. Took a pic with me and that was that. Will never forget it.

gumpythegreat

My biggest regret is when I was on a trip to New York with some friends and we saw him sitting at the deli we were eating at. My friend is a big fan and wanted to say hi (this was like 2012) but I said "I wouldn't want to bug him" and put that doubt in my homie's mind and he never said hi.

MohawkElGato

Ehh I can attest this isn’t totally accurate. I worked on his show for Vice. He’s GREAT with fans, that’s for sure. Very open and friendly and never turns down a picture. But to staff and those close to him? He can absolutely be a prick and can rage really hard. But also can confirm that Mayhem Lauren is indeed the best guy.

BadJokeJudge

“Good cream cheese, it’s like the perfect wine from the perfect bordello from the back alley of the Paris joint where you got guys slingin crack out front”

Fenris_Maule

I miss his food show.

bentika

He dropped vice and just does it on YouTube now

Fenris_Maule

I know I tried it a few years ago and the production quality was a lot worse than the vice one and didn't have Mayhem Lauren anymore. Do you know if that's changed?

Gilgameshugga

He's recently done a big hour long video on Parisian food that's really good.

bentika

Mayhem, alchemist and big body are all much less frequent characters but I think they do think they show up from time to time.

Fenris_Maule

Damn that's what I thought. The trio of Action, Mayhem and Alchemist was my favorite.

squanch_solo

Same here. Also I want to drink all the fancy-ass wines and champagnes he was always drinking with his food.

Fenris_Maule

Only natural wine lol.

PattyIceNY

He lives in my neighborhood and is 1000% the same way in real life, he's genuine af

Tankisfreemason

Bronson can describe a PB&J like he’s looking at a Picasso

newblevelz

The beeping of cursewords is already annoying enough without the screen flashing with it

OSeady

Dude I was thinking the exact same thing

420yoloswagkush420

I know the guy is on ESPN and stuff so maybe he’s tryna be somewhat family friendly

Wolfgang1234

That's perfectly reasonable, but there are better ways to censor.

pie_eating_contest

If you're the kind of person who's offended by hearing (or seeing?) swears, then you're not the kind of person to watch anything with Action Bronson. If he's trying to stay family friendly, why does he choose to swear on video at all then? He's being bleeped as much as Action is.

ImKindaHungry2

I was watching the clip while pouring my coffee, and the first two times it happened I thought the clip moved to another segment I was like wtf

SomebodyThrow

Someone needs to talk to that editor for ever thinking flashing colour bars during every censor was even a remotely good idea. my god.

cloudsmiles

I hope the video editor is reading this, stop with the dumb high-pitch-"off-air"-censor that's over done and inconsistent. I willingly stopped watching after the third one.

dicknotrichard

Literally the same.

throbbing_dementia

You just sound sensitive.

RickRossovich

Hard.

unpopularopinion0

gay porn hard

Gtmatt22

Greek underground gay porn hard. Go highlanders!

egap420

Ends interview due to hunger pains. Perfect.

Mal-Capone

mans knows when that hanger brewing and was halfway there by the end of that mid-streak of tweets.

SilentBobVG

Hunger pangs, not pains

CosmicHazmat

This guy pangs.

TheNatureBoy

Just my sim ripping a bong at subway, eating cookies with a goblin

Norwejew

Best line is “over the pants? What is she in sixth grade? She should be ashamed of herself” referring to sitting congresswoman Lauren Boebert’s alleged Mormon-safe public HJ

LogicWavelength

The host's "that was not the take-away for most people, but I see where you're coming from" made me laugh so hard.

zeronerdsidecar

Knowing, now, who action Bronson is and what he is associated with; if someone, with no previous knowledge of the player haters club, was asked to choose between him and Dave Chapelle on who said the quote, “and as I sip my soda that I’m sure some one spit in…” I’m sure there will be a usage of all three lifelines on this one

mrdibby

he brought the same thing to another podcast and said he'd make an album of them clip [https://www.instagram.com/p/C4ip2G3OK41](https://www.instagram.com/p/C4ip2G3OK41) full [www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYvEsMTKL5E](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYvEsMTKL5E)

Drpaxtie

Bronson is a national treasure

virtualracer

Action Bronson is the man! We both love hip hop, good food, old BMWs and sneakers😆👍

tehuberleetmaster

Wtf am I watching?

chillflyguy33

Action Bronson is a fun rapper that has somewhat of a cult like following due to his interesting choice of instrumentals and deep, detailed lyrics about him doing normal everyday things. His bars are often hilarious. This is him discovering a twitter account that retweets tweets that sound like they would be a lyric said by Action Bronson.

Halomir

This is a perfectly succinct description of exactly what this guy was watching.

moradacious

I got about 20s in and thought it was a waste of time.

alwayz

I found it bizarre that AB (fairly well known rapper) doesn't know the word alliteration. He probably uses it all the time.

-maffu-

I actually thought he was going to go into the Burt Young [Once Upon A Time in America quote](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QBjdneg1Aw) for a second there: "Life... is funnier than shit." He even sounds a bit like him. In other news, I have no idea who Action Bronson is.

doomlite

If you like unique , funny, and lots of food references…and rap he’s your guy. Dude is a genuinely good guy. I’d like to eat poki behind Carmelo with him lol.

nihc

P

SpeculationMaster

Thats an annoying BLEEP edit

nitdkim

there are too many people doing podcasts

Zers503

Pablo torre is very respected journalist. Doesn’t fall into this camp.

drDjausdr

"Discovering something for the first time" Wow. Top Notch.

Only498cc

ever

Schellhammer

As a fan of battlefield i was very confused by the title.

ThisAppSucksBall

"all the bullshit you can conjure up in your mind isn't that cool" Meanwhile, Cormac McCarthy: > A legion of horribles, hundreds in number, half naked or clad in costumes attic or biblical or wardrobed out of a fevered dream with the skins of animals and silk finery and pieces of uniform still tracked with the blood of prior owners, coats of slain dragoons, frogged and braided cavalry jackets, one in a stovepipe hat and one with an umbrella and one in white stockings and a bloodstained wedding veil and some in headgear or cranefeathers or rawhide helmets that bore the horns of bull or buffalo and one in a pigeontailed coat worn backwards and otherwise naked and one in the armor of a Spanish conquistador, the breastplate and pauldrons deeply dented with old blows of mace or sabre done in another country by men whose very bones were dust and many with their braids spliced up with the hair of other beasts until they trailed upon the ground and their horses' ears and tails worked with bits of brightly colored cloth and one whose horse's whole head was painted crimson red and all the horsemen's faces gaudy and grotesque with daubings like a company of mounted clowns, death hilarious, all howling in a barbarous tongue and riding down upon them like a horde from a hell more horrible yet than the brimstone land of Christian reckoning, screeching and yammering and clothed in smoke like those vaporous beings in regions beyond right knowing where the eye wanders and the lip jerks and drools.

llamango

blood meridian is based on historical events.

ThisAppSucksBall

Bring based on historical events doesn't mean that what happened in the book is true or real life
