He has a podcast now that's pretty great. He even did an episode with Josh Robert Thompson, the voice of Geoff.

Seth Meyer also is pretty good. Not Conan or Ferguson but still probably the best of the current bunch. Colbert took a while to find his legs between his past persona and his late night self but I think he's definitely improved and is a solid #2.
Personally I think Colbert and Seth are kinda the embodiment of why I stopped watching them. They aren’t bad at all, but just kinda boring to me. Feels like a staff doing their jobs rather than creative people being passionate about new ideas.
But I’m also not watching it anymore because of that so maybe I’m out of touch with how it is currently.
hijacking top comment to say that Craig occasionally looks up this video on YouTube because it was one of his favorite times from the show. I can't remember where I heard that though, so I could be making it up
"I-y-ye-yea you didn't want this did you? You didn't want a robot that thinks. Someone who creates of his own mind! No, I LIKE MILK CHCOLATE!"
This episode was like a really low rent episode of the Twilight Zone at times and I bloody loved it.
He's got a podcast now that's essentially him interviewing his famous friends. Just like you said, it's all very organic conversation and it's great. He even did an episode with Josh Robert Thompson, the voice of Geoff.

Every now and then I just go down a rabbit hole of binging all these old Late Late Show clips, from the interviews to the puppets to Secretariat to Geoff and Craig just losing it. The Larry King Geoff moment was so unexpectedly good when it happened.
I miss Craig. He was the last decent late night talk show host.
Craig was actually good at talking with people. So many of the people now especially the top Jimmy simply talk at people.

omg thank you for sharing!
Your welcome! I just discovered it recently but am so glad I did!
Not Conan? He left only 3 years ago.

Totally agree, both so boring and bland
Really? No one is going to take the "solid #2" bait? Ok. I'm ashamed of you all.
Sometimes, you’ve eaten enough low hanging fruit to know it’s not as good as it used to be.
Conan is/was good but he's still a comedian and tries to perform. Craig is so natural it's on another level
Craig’s also a comedian though.
He's unique that's for sure
I miss Larry Kind. Whatever happened to that guy?

'I like sugar but I don't have a problem with it, I have type II diabetes..' '.. I guess I have a problem'
This is a perfect example of why Craig was the best.
Havent seen this before. Very good TV. Made me laugh throughout. Fair play to both of them.
Man I wish Craig was still on air. Best talk show on cable. Also as an interviewer he just let guest talk. So conversational and organic.

I got excited thinking the typo meant it was Richard Kind, but was doubly excited that it was Larry King
I just want Craig and Conan back. All the rest can retire.
Every time i see Craig Ferguson appreciation posts. I get a little depressed. That was one of the only things on TV I watched everyday.
Comedy gold
Larry Kind
Was hoping to hear Richard Kind's angelic voice...
Man, I wish Craig would do another talk show. He and Conan were the best.

Craig needs to return to late night TV.
Once again, the importance of having an old Jewish entertainer on a show every now and then, is demonstrated...
The best
Not to be an idiot but that’s Josh and not Larry King right?
