The W580 is modern in terms of older cellphones and it should load most simple HTML pages fine, not just limited to WAP/WML. How did you get Bluetooth internet sharing working specifically? This would help to get old phones online without an active SIM.
It was kind of tedious. You have to go into the sharing section of system preferences, then internet sharing, select the connection the computer is connected to (most cases, Ethernet or WiFi) and then check the Bluetooth PAN option, then connect your phone to the computer using Bluetooth and in my case, I had to create a new internet profile that has the MacBook set as the account. Then I have to open up the Bluetooth file explorer for it to remain connected and then use the ATT Mall to enter in the URL.

I'd rather use an active SIM then, it's much easier to get set up.
This is sadly, my only option. The phone isn’t unlocked and I don’t have Mint or vintage active T-Mobile SIMs.
