Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison, 1968 UK pressing. Found this at a flea market on Sunday. Some light scuffs but overall good condition and plays well. Wasn't priced so I offered £10 and the guy accepted. Even threw in a random 7". Been thinking about buying this classic album for a while.
Moondog, 1969 UK pressing. Saw this in a local charity shop this morning and couldn't believe the price. There is a small sticker rip on the front cover and some very noticeable marks across the A side. The marks looked superficial and it was really clean otherwise so I took the risk. Great sounding for a 55 year old record, really quiet and none of the marks are audible. Cheapest of this pressing on Discogs right now is £54, so £10 is an absolute bargain.
I have that Moondog! Mine appears to have been stolen from a library (also found at a charity shop some years ago). Mine's a bit more faded than yours.
I haven't got Folsom Prison but I've got San Quentin, Johnny playing in prisons is a whole different vibe :)
San Quentin is next on my list of Johnny Cash records to buy.
Apart from the rip the Moondog cover is in really good condition. The photo actually makes it look more faded than it really is.
Yeah I pretty much stopped going to record fairs. Always overpriced, a load of junk and half the time the sellers don't even bother to organise.
If you're London based I recommend the Indie Label Market in Kings X on Saturday.

I've wanted that Moondog record for a little bit. Lucky finds!

It was very lucky, I nearly walked away from it before deciding to go back.
I just picked up the exact same pressing of Cash at Folsom this week too! But I paid 20 (shipping overseas included).
Damn. You’ve been checking my Discogs want list? I only added moondog 2 about 3 days ago.
Might have to swing by that charity shop again see if they put any more out.
Let me know if you get a spare copy! Seriously !!!
Lol. If I get that lucky again I'll let you know.
Hello, I’m Johnny Cash
Moondog 1969 one of my all time favorite long plays. Perfect sunday morning record!
I hear that Moondog shot a man in Reno just to watch him die.
Don’t think he did any watchin
Oh man, that moondog one for a tenner as well.
I know, ridiculous. It's a bit weird because the same shop often has albums I wouldn't pay a tenner for priced at around £20-30.
Nice, I just got that Moondog record two weeks ago from my local shop, think I paid $30
Still not a bad price.
For sure, I was psyched since I sometimes see it for $100
Damn, I’ve been looking for Moondog for like a year now. Nobody seems to know what I’m talking about haha.
He's a bit obscure that's for sure. This was definitely a wild find.
I have four copies- DM me and if you’re anywhere nearby I’ll pass one on
I have Folsom prison but in a San qentin cover
THE VIKING!
The Viking in black.

Too much.
Saw the Johnny Cash at a record fair in the Uk last week going for £30 🙄

That's good to know thanks, though I can't make it this time.
Witch of Endor!
