Like just put a rubber seal over it? I noticed it was cranking slower before I ripped the throttle a bit to open the carbs, when I did that the gas came out lmao
My fear was that hose goes SOMEWHERE and closing it wouldn’t allow me to run properly if at all
There's a few tutorials online to delete the MCV. Basically just take off that mess of cables and that valve that's in the bug eye and capping a few of the vacuume ports on the carb boots. That's assuming the 750 has it. Mines the 1000.
I have a 95 750. It’s all torn apart right now cuz I’m rebuilding the carbs. But it don’t leak fuel like that. Not out that hose. That hose goes to the top of the carb,, right?
I think that hose should connect to the top of the carbs, I think I remember one pipe having a 90° bend and the other was straight…I think it’s supposed to be a vent tube of some sort but definitely shouldn’t be shooting fuel out.
I did my carbs a year or two ago and religiously took videos/pics of every step to keep track of how they went back together. If I still have them I can DM you some angles but I may have since deleted them.
I has a few videos I took while doing it but they are a bit unclear, I wasn’t double checking what I recorded while I was going. If you eventually come across them that’d be much appreciated, won’t ask you to go searching for hours though. I believe it was connected from the top too, bout to go through all my footage.
Throttle cables are dust, am manually pulling throttle wheel to open carbs.
I posted on the Yamaha forums, and the homie Virago Joe said the same about the floats. I am sure they weren’t touching the bowl, but they likely aren’t the correct height, am getting off and ready to start working on it again, will update soon on either pull the carbs off(hope to god I don’t have to) or it starting up.
Thanks for the advice!
Dude I'm still trying to figure this out myself. I deleted the bug eye emissions valve thing for simplicitys sake.

How do you have fuel coming out of that hose? Doesn’t it connect to the top where the diaphragm is?
My carbs were flooded with fuel, it’s no longer leaking out of that hose

If you're in any of the Facebook groups, a few of them have service manuals in the files section
You may have a stuck float. They say to try tapping the carb with a mallet or screwdriver to get it to unstick. Is the throttle cable returning?

I have one. I will message it to you.
