I have no control on what Pixo decides to give or takeaway from me, but I can control how to spend what resources I have. Been only using the default 20pc repair since I started.
I will remove the unstable conduit immediately and go back to advanced rep unit, even tho i have almost 300k pc, the healing from unstable is not worth at all being 1.7%x45 secs (it takes too long to repair meaningfully) and i dont feel the need to shield break the enemy.
I noticed a drop in pc in the last few months and idk where pixo reduced them from as i have not spend pc a lot more than what i used to (i have or had unstable conduit on all my bots pretty much) good thing i have trixie hope on my weyland.
If a player spammed UC module 3 times in a 45-50sec span, it’ll cost them 210 powercells. So for UC module lasting 45secs straight is relatively the same cost. That’s why it’s at 200.
Now, do I find it ridiculous? 100%. No module should even have a duration that long

As you said the duration is not necessary and the real question is, do you need shield breaker and mechanic for 45s. In my matches it's not guaranteed that I survive for that long lmao.
Hiruko builds will be moving back to the adv and normal repair modules I reckon.

So yeah, you can spend 200 pc if you dont have quartermaster skill every 50 sec with this module, matches last around 300secs, that is 300/50*200= 1200 pc per match! If you play 6 matches a day then 7200pc, that is 216k pc a month.. oof this is if you dont use a titan ofc and keep spamming the unstable conduit module.

Wished that they hadn't nerfed extermination or else this new version of the Unstable Conduit would be really useful in gathering resources.... but yeah, it will be totally horrible to use in regular battles as it cost too much per use and you can probably still get annihilated by strong/highly upgraded titan weapons(solid/high dps). Pixonic is probably trying to get us to use a ton of powercells and have us end up buying more... maybe they are trying to create more ways for them to make $$$.

Shield breaker module that lasts 45 seconds, well I play the Dagon and Ares and use the Paladin so I’m not playing until this goes away and I urge everyone else who is disproportionately affected by this game breaking garbage to do the same. Way to drop your player count Pixonic.
No, other bots have things of equivalent value that don't have braindead counterplay, for example there's no “anti transcender” module to nullify the Ravana’s strengths. 45 seconds of shieldbreaker is fundamentally unbalanced. Without any shield the Dagon is trash and the Ares is worse.
Using their shields on right time and place is the skill of shield bots if you don't have the shield Ares just becomes a higher firepower but slower and less durable ghost rogatka
I disagree. Dagon shield is way op and Ares just makes people think it's a tank when it's nowhere near a tank. Ive played since the game was called walking war robots and all the stuff being introduced is meant for players with less skill and more money than common sense. I'm F2P, in champion league, and very little stuff considered meta. No comment will change my mind about op lack of skill if he needs to rely on shields to the point where he won't play because of a shield breaker module that only big spenders will be using
The dagon is undoubtedly too durable. But the Ares or any other pantheon bot is not much without their shields they're way too weak for the current meta. You can say lack of skill argument for any robot ability , fenrir player need the 50% damage resistance cause they can't take cover or doge , shell players need the 800k hp shield cause they're brain-dead. I started playing when the dash bots came out. They pushed the non ability bots out of the meta back then you could say the same thing about the Griffin it needed that jump cause the players back then lacked skill. Any bot with an ability is susceptible to that argument. Dagon is still too strong tho no arguing that

But what are you getting for the cost of the power cells? Let's use advanced repair and shield break versus the new UC.
If you choose healing, in a minute of time your best case (having module and cooldown skills) is 18s of healing, or 16s of shield break. That costs you 120pc for healing, and 40 for shield break.
Now compare that to 200pc for 60s (with module skill) of both, with a 5s cooldown. 137 if you go with quartermaster. Now the healing is not as good as advanced repair, but it's better than any repair skill, and better than having a repair amp until it's 90% loaded.
I would argue that for those that use healing with any regularity, UC us actually a better overall deal, and its a no brainer with quartermaster.

I like the 20 cell repair because sometimes I feel the bigger one gets wasted by butting into the shrinking max cap of durability while in combat.

Good assessment. I've always used the cheap 20pc repair and it's helped me amass 300k just like you.

Rook use to be so awesome, then bedwetter w flames just bakes him off in 3 seconds. I avoid them now and capture beacons and swat small bots.

Folks. IT GIVES YOU 45 SECONDS OF HEALING AND SB. And only 5 sec cooldown. Tanks will benefit greatly from this. Especially Ultimate Fenrir.

Yes, but imo we all need more testing before we can conclude if this is viable or not. Its not for all robots for sure.. it suits tanks.

Here's the tradeoff though. As soon as pathfinders with pilot become prevalent, this UC will be moot.
Why would user control be boot?
Pathfinder pilot gives the entire team shield break when they use their ability. Find a good pilot and you're saving power cells.
