Well, get to it, start pleasing the bunker and the doors

lexxstrum

I'd recommend soft music, candlelight, maybe some oils?

masked_sombrero

It’s a bunker wall. I’d recommend Vaseline instead of oils

Realistic_Oil7053

Sounds like a good payday 👌

bmartin1989

Instructions unclear dick stuck in door

Arkitakama

No, no, you're doing fine. Just use more lube.

Violetmoon66

Lol

Rant Time: what's the point of sending everyone to OGDP if there aren't enough associates to stock the place? Your money makers won't make you money if there's nothing to pick. Edit: Shout-out to this one guy (You know who you are) for being a chill guy. I don't know how you do it but good luck with everything brother 💪

platypus_bear

Ogdp has visible metrics with actual deadlines they need to hit which is why they prioritize it. What they should do is schedule more people but that would mess with the managers bonuses

GoddessOfBlueRidge

Most of our pickers don't show up for morning shift on a regular basis.

lorill-silverlock

This schedule the bare minimum the secure 6 figures at the end of the year.

NeedleworkerHot7419

I heard they’re losing money on the whole thing. Shits pointless & just encourages people to stay fat & not shop for themselves.

truffle2trippy

>Your money makers won't make you money if there's nothing to pick. See that's the beauty part though. They use TCs to find in the back and pick them their selves In addition, they take what they need and then bring before full case out to the floor to stock the rest of it. (RIGHT GUYS?? NOBODY JUST LEAVES HALF EMPTY BOXES IN THE BACK YA?? I am so getting down voted for that one) So you see by manager logic. Not only are they fulfilling the customer needs, but they're also assisting in stocking. What needs to be stocked GREAT WORKPLACE!

AnnaMolly66

>GREAT WORKPLACE! No. 97! Did you hear?! We made the list!

ebevan91

God I wish our management cared about frozen meat/seafood. I’m pretty much the only one that will work it, at least the bins.

PrincessSyura

our 93/97 bins in frozen have been completely jammed about 90% of the time since last turkey season started. we still have a pallet of turkeys and a pallet of burger patties buried deep in the freezer where it's not really even accessible we have to put our overstock for bratwurst in the seafood freezer, while there are also multiple different seafood items with feature quantity that have been in the bins for months because there's never any space for them i'd say like 30% of the time there is no easy space to work with in the seafood bins either, and i mean, it's gotta go somewhere, as far as i know we have one person on morning shift who ever touches frozen meat/seafood and half the time he's too busy to even get to work any of it

ebevan91

I know how you feel about the turkeys. We didn’t get rid of the last of 2022’s turkeys until October 2023. 2 pallets of them in the way for 10 months.

PrincessSyura

feel like it's gonna be the same here i feel like so many of the problems could just be solved if the ordering actually made sense, like there just isn't enough bunker space for all the stuff they send, and so much stuff like the 4 pound bags of wings, frozen tilapia, etc, are just permanently on feature quantity. with 6 extra cases in the backroom at all times, counts are correct etc, yet they still replenish every single time we sell off a case

ebevan91

We’ve had 4lb bags of tilapia on feature for like 5 months and it’s not selling. We still have like 6 cases in the freezer too. Well, it’s selling but when we get a case someone puts in the bunker so the feature always stays full.

PrimeScreamer

We only ever have one scheduled in meats. Bust your ass, get zero help, and we are expected to drop everything to rush to the back and help find stuff for OGP. It would be ON THE SHELVES if we had adequate help and we weren't constantly interrupted. >=[

Salamanticormorant

Team lead doesn't use punctuation? Must be very hard to find good help these days.

Capable_Assistant_81

I'm left alone early 4 days a week from 1 to 6p.  Scheduling employees is a basic skill... if you know what you're doing.

slicktommycochrane

I wouldn't be caught dead asking about an associate using their title instead of their name 🤢
