Omg I've been waiting all my life for THIS
Housekeeper- It's an Ai vs Humans thing BUT instead of Ai trying to destroy the world, it's humans that are doing it, and Ai is protecting the world (some of them at least)
Aza (Hiatus)- It's so unique that I don't even know how to explain it in a short paragraph lol, just read it, it's awesome
Sunset Pheonix (Hiatus)- I found myself really enjoying this after binging all of PH, idk how but it's sooo good
The Ember Knight (Hiatus)- It's an action where the MC brother died so now the MC has to take his brother's place, but the MC is also trying to take revenge on his brother death
Blue Matter- YES, it's the BEST. I love it so much, it's an op MC with another op ML. The artstyle takes some getting used to but it's AWESOME
The Last Golden Child- I made a post recently about this but it's still AWESOME. The artstyle is just đź‘Ś and the characters (especially their backstories) is just so good and sad.
To Tame a Fire (Hiatus, ending on 23 June) - Just...just read it. It's AWESOME. The characters are gorgeous and mc is just so loveable, also there are a few abs :)
Out of all of these, TLGC and TTaF is probably the most like ordinary webtoons in turns of artstyle, but u should still read ALL of them, it's SO good
Aza and Ember Knight are basically the world playing checkers while the main character's managing to play 4d chess with multiversal time travel despite not even having a board
Ohh my god, Aza is so beautiful. Why does webtoon not promote it on home page. This is the first time I have come across this webtoon.
I have never heard of Blue Matters as well. Thanks for theses recs. Gotta go read all these amazing webtoon .
Oh my god. I didn't even know Carciphona was on webtoons. I read it ages ago on its website and I loved it so much only coming second to Anathema which is also on its own website last I checked
The author left the platform and has ben working through patreon @momoxbubu. They tried twice publishing on webtoons but they kept going on hiatus for some reason and then they just up and left
The Raven King is SO GOOD. I almost wish it would split its updates from monthly to twice a month because the chapters are long which is great but it’s so long between updates I sometimes forget where we are in the narrative
1-Forgotten creatures (canvas)
The male lead gives me siruis black vibes and the art is amazing ..slow updates tho
2-It rains on precious days
I really like age gap when its done well me and my so have a bit of an age gap and i like when its written realisticly (pros and cons) in fiction
Yeah, in the chapters were he asked her out ans stuff i was wondering where the angst from the prologue was but now i see it coming and i already feel bad for her
The Daily Pass comics aren't talked about that much, which I understand, but I've been reading 1 Second which is about a firefighter who can see the future and it's amazing. BTW they made it so you can watch ads to read the next episode in a daily pass so that makes it better rather than waiting a day. Give it a try if you like a mix of supernatural and reality :)
Gotta give a shout out to Dark Lord's Confession.
It really blindsided me when I first found out about it. Wonderful cast, art and story, so I was surprised at how hard it was to find posts about it.
Bad Signs. It's about twelve people, all with different Zodiac signs, who find themselves stranded together on a desert island, and it's hilarious. Also, the series recently completed.
I love so many canvas Webtoons that deserve more attention
MiCoVerse
Being Monsters
It's warmer over here
Pax and Jude
Icy Copper (currently removed, will re-release as a daily pass original next month)
False Knees
Kiddos
KAI
The peculiar compendium of Victor Van Wolfe
Lorena Immaculate (this is a daily pass original)
Vampire Girlfriends
"Farewell Fiammetta" is pretty good; everything feels like it's done with watercolors, and I dig the overall character design/artstyle it works with.
Hasn't even broken 500 subs yet on webtoon, criminally underrated work. (Though the artist, Magna Gallina, seems a little more established on instagram and her other socials, at least.)
My bad, shoulda put a link in the OG comment.
The Dragon King's Mermaid Bride - I really want this to continue. The story really hooked me, and the FL is no pushover. I like it.
Eternal Bond is highly overlooked. It's a complex world, and the story kind of drags at the start, but it fleshes out really well the more you read.
There Is No Place for Fakes
My Boyfriend Is A God
Dawn of the Dragon
Lavender Jack (completed original) by Dan Schkade
Think Batman, but he combats his edge with quipy one liners in a steam punk, turn of the century style.
Every character is memorable, from Jack himself, his dastardly foes, a formidable maid, a tough as nails cop, and the once-famous Detective sent to crack Jack's identity.
Good LGBT+ representation
Gorgeous setting
The language The author uses really pulls you into the vibe of a 1910's world. Though the city is fictional, the people make it feel real.
I can't really describe it because I don't want to spoil it, so take a look for yourselves!
Really depends on your definiton of underrated and what rating you're using.
Like mangaupdates rates [The Second Life Is a Healing Life?](https://www.mangaupdates.com/series/tdkitxq/the-second-life-is-a-healing-life) as a 5.4 but it only has 8 votes (cos mangaupdates is a dying site, though still freqeuntly updated it's simply got a low userbase) and I rated it 8. Similarly for Ya Oee, I rated a 9 but it's only got 46 votes anyway
Actually looking at my lists in ascending rating order...I'll have to go with [**By Chance, We... and...**](https://www.mangaupdates.com/series/50kylba/by-chance-we-and) An absolutely beautiful, painful story about how a couple broke up in college told as a flashback as we intermittently follow the man years later. 7.1 / 10.0 (122 votes) but to me it's a clear 10/10
I've got other 10s, too, that are in 7.xx range on average rating, like [**Let's Fight Ghost**](https://www.mangaupdates.com/series/xi9q79f/let-s-fight-ghost) , but By Chance is fully translated and has the biggest gap between my rating and the average rating.
edit: For ongoing series maybe [**My Feelings Can Wait**](https://www.mangaupdates.com/series/nh7yu6v/my-feelings-can-wait), but again as a recent series it simply has not many votes at all. Oh wait on [mangadex](https://mangadex.org/title/dc10dbb6-2bb2-4d52-8440-85ca9ed2d9a6/long-awaited-feelings) it's got 8.8 with \~600 votes so there's that.
ok and also boy-friend’s rule which is such a cute romance its so endearing and its funny as well.
emperor hunt is really good and complex!! the setting is very unique and i like the way that the mc is going through a lot and that a lot of the consequences actually have actions.
forest of humans was a very good thriller to me that i remember reading and it was very interesting
i just commented about the last golden child but its sooooo good i love the artystyle and none of the characters are shallow either
It’s relatively new and still out but I never hear ANYONE talking about “A spell for a smith”
And to add onto that , I’m OBSESSED with the reboot of “Anything for you”

Oh my god. I didn't even know Carciphona was on webtoons. I read it ages ago on its website and I loved it so much only coming second to Anathema which is also on its own website last I checked
Little Rain is one that is very sweet and dear to me
What does it mean by "it is unconcluded on webtoon"?
The author left the platform and has ben working through patreon @momoxbubu. They tried twice publishing on webtoons but they kept going on hiatus for some reason and then they just up and left
Ohh since it's not on webtoon, should I read it on another platform?
Patreon
Ok thanks!
Death’s Game is so heart wrenching at the end very underrated
reading it right now!! thanks :))
Surviving a harem and dark lord's confession
REQUIEM (canvas) The Raven King (canvas) SOULWINDER Black Horda (canvas) Can’t remember any other from the top of my head
The Raven King is SO GOOD. I almost wish it would split its updates from monthly to twice a month because the chapters are long which is great but it’s so long between updates I sometimes forget where we are in the narrative
It's been years since I read Black Horda. Gonna catch up tonight
The author has redrawn the entire comic, they’ve made a new canvas webtoon for this redrawn version! The old one is still up though :)
I've never seen anybody else mention Iris Complex, Robot Dream, Katty and Zoey or Solid State.
The Dark Lords Confession The Spark in Your Eyes Uriah (not sure if it’s underrated per-say but it’s SO good) 1HP Club Spontaneous World Shifting
I love Spontaneous World Shifting. The art is so beautiful.
all on canvas Lovebites Skin and bones the beast of hadingley hill I was born to work retail Electric bones
+1 for The Beast of Hadingley Hill
ahhh skin and bones! I love that one so muchÂ
africa
Artist salieri
Does Ghost Lights count ? Because I reaaaally feel like it doesn't get enough recognition.
1-Forgotten creatures (canvas) The male lead gives me siruis black vibes and the art is amazing ..slow updates tho 2-It rains on precious days I really like age gap when its done well me and my so have a bit of an age gap and i like when its written realisticly (pros and cons) in fiction
It Rains on Precious Days is so good...I wish I found it later than I did so I can binge read the entire thing
Yeah i think i stopped reading it for a few chapters bc the cliffhangers were crazy
Same! I wait for a little to build up! Also something about how it's going lately makes me think we are in for heartbreak...
Yeah, in the chapters were he asked her out ans stuff i was wondering where the angst from the prologue was but now i see it coming and i already feel bad for her
Yeah...and now it's even worse since she sees her friend and how their relationship is a bit...strange.

Rebirth. It's honestly pretty good and for my little tiny baby brain it's getting as hard to understand as Jojo's without a guide.
Bad Signs. It's about twelve people, all with different Zodiac signs, who find themselves stranded together on a desert island, and it's hilarious. Also, the series recently completed.
