was racing on Le Mans Ultimate and was absolutely buzzing watching Aston Martin lead across the line, so so happy. Definitely my favourite result this year.
Congrats to Dries! He not only finishes but gets on the podium in an endurance race this year! (feel pity for Laurens though) Can't wait to listen to the Over The Limit race review!
Just found Farfus FB post, puncture with 64 minutes to go, which meant that they were 1 or 2 minutes short on stint
Edit: And FCY was short enough to not implement extended stint lenght
I'm an Aston fan so I'm obviously over the moon right now, but I'm feeling real bad for Pier Guidi, that has to be the most infuriating way to lose a race ever
Enzo's rolling on his grave right now.
If it was anyone other than Aston (or Ford, but that won't happen) getting to 1st from that I'd have dropkicked my TV.

The Lamborghini broke down on pit entry(not the first time) blocking the road. Ferrari come in to make their last stop but are stuck behind the Lamborghini and have to wait for a recovery vehicle. Essentially off the podium now
A Huracan died at pit entry and blocked it for the second time, the 296 of Pier Guidi was stuck for a good minute and a half or so, and lost the lead to the V8 Vantage of Drudi who was previously just about 11 seconds behind.
Same. Shit happens in racing but that is some bullshit.
That said, I reckon the Ferrari lost by not pitting for the Merc FCY. Was short, but a lot of cars who alternated the lead off-sync did and benefited. Don't think the Ferrari would have emerged in the lead anyway.
The Lamborghini should be black flagged and shouldn’t be allowed to leave the pits. Not the first time they’ve done that. They obviously have an issue and it’s fucking the race for others
I don't see how he can win with that gamble though, even if there's FCY then all of his competitors get their last pitstop for free, while he stopped under green.
They started at 21st, at some point they were in 2nd, then made a wrong tyre choice and went back to the 20-something, then Rossi hit another car and Martin got the car back around 14th,, then penalty, then slowly creeping down the grid.
Martin is one of the best GT racers but I feel like being paired up with Rossi has cost him some results (though it has to be said Rossi's evolution as a driver has been impressive).
I'd feel more dejected if I was Marciello. Just when he was done carrying Boguslavski...
Is it me or overtaking in GT3 cars just keeps gettibg more difficult? Has downforce increased that much these past few years?
I noticed that at Bathurst earlier this year, but Spa usually provides way more passing opportunities.
I just think after so many generations of GT3 the cars are just so much more refined and so close in terms of performance.
These cars are still essentially designed for the benefit of amateur drivers and there’s only so much difference a pro driver can make up against another pro driver.
I like that by Vesti, these young F1 reserve drivers need to race rather than waste a year sitting next to the team principle in the pits for the cameras
Wow been a while since our little FCY friend..
I thought that rollback was gonna cut in front of that car for a second.. That been helluva thing to happen be taken out by running into the back of a rollback on FCY...
Yeah I really am rooting for Lello :( It just hasn't happened for him this year. Not sure why he's been put in that car for this season, but I imagine they want to spread the drivers across the cars to hedge it.
They really interrupted the battle for P1 to show highlights? Endurance need to stop to put highlights during the live race feed, use social network instead

Aston Ferrari BMW
What was with the Facebook message held up to the camera?
They just said Aston had to message the team owner on Facebook to get his attention and try to get him to drive their cars.
Ahhh thank you! I think it worked out okay 😄
Bad luck for the Ferrari, but Pier Guidi drove like a madman… cause he was mad (bad dum tss)
Happy Aston Martin won, but happier Pier Guidi lost
Same haha Funny how easily he could climb up all those positions up to third at the end........
Damn you guys woke up hatin 😈😈🗣️🔥 🙅♀️
2nd
The last climb from 3rd to 2nd is easily explained 😉
what happened to the 998?
Went through pit lane to reset stint time
that close to the finish? Did someone fuck up the strategy. Forgot to bring a stop watch?
Puncture with 64 minutes to go, and apparently FCY was short enough to extend stint time
WHY 998 WHY
Oh well, shit happens. If it wasn't a Ferrari I'm glad it's an Aston with 007 on it.
You see, papa Stroll, you may not be successful in F1, but the success may lay elswhere. Congrats Aston!
Atleast Ferrari don't win
Dane Train!
Hopefully doing the same next year at Le Mans
Hopefully the Valkyrie can bring the fight to Ferrari, wouldn’t say no to that result.
I looked away - what happened to 998 there? Why'd they drop?
Went through pit lane to reset stint time
But why? Announcers said they got 5 min extra from the FCY meaning they wouldn't need to pit again
Just found Farfus FB post, puncture with 64 minutes to go, which meant that they were 1 or 2 minutes short on stint Edit: And FCY was short enough to not implement extended stint lenght
Got you, thanks
I admit, I didn't have Aston winning any major race in my 2024 bingo
Rowe royally fucked up. They didn’t even need to pit early last time
Why’d they even go in? I thought they were safe due to the yellow flag earlier
The FCY was only out for 30 seconds or so. But they should never have had to rely on that to begin with. Should have counted back correctly.
Fucking horrible math. 1 or 2 laps layer and no problem.
Big oof for Rowe BMW
Shocking strategy from ROWE
Don't think I quite understood why they're pitting - any info?
Maximum stint time is 63 minutes, and they pitted with more than 63 minutes to go.
No one really knows. I would be curious for the reason as well. EDIT: I meant for the original pit stop.
The two Garage 59 McLarens (#158 and #188) had so many incidents. I'm surprised they are still going.
007 has been a beast today. Hats off to AM on that car.
Really remarkable that this is their first win at Spa 24hr since 1948.
OMGGGGG
Hey look WEC, 15 minutes to go and we're seeing more than just the lead car cruising around !
Hate that we've timed f1 and this to end at the same time - can't listen to both!
How can F1 be at least as interesting as this in any way ? A whole F1 season is less interesting than a single endurance race...
Normally yes, but this one has had its moments. Podium here looks fairly sorted as well
I'm an Aston fan so I'm obviously over the moon right now, but I'm feeling real bad for Pier Guidi, that has to be the most infuriating way to lose a race ever
Ridiculous... Ferrari clearly is having it easy in all series...
Told y'all it was blocking.
Time traveller insults a tractor manufacturer in the 1960s_
Man f1 is getting interesting. Both races will end around the same time too
That was a shoulder barge by the Walkenhorst
Really wish there were a "Time since last pit" timing available. No clue who still has to pit.
Enzo's rolling on his grave right now. If it was anyone other than Aston (or Ford, but that won't happen) getting to 1st from that I'd have dropkicked my TV.

The Aston moved around. That was blocking. You've already been f*cked by another team. Don't give the spot back.
Pier Guidi driving like a bum again
Would you expect anything less of any human associated with AF corse?
He’s a teeny bit angry
Well, I’ve seen another Ferrari argument after Toyota touched.
I think Pier Giudi might be a bit angry. Just a feeling though.
That was dirty by Pier Guidi.
How so? He was fully alongside and Pittard barely made the corner.
And Pier Mario in the 52 of course
I think if I'm in that situation as the 51 was I'm attempting to push the Lambo forward
Yeah I wonder if that would be against the rules.
All the Bus stop and pitlane entrance modification years ago was a massive disaster. .
This is even worse that the Ferrari WEC loss at 6 hours of SPA. The F1 team should not even come here.
Lambo is the real mvp?
World class Italian rival manufacturer shithousery that was /s
Awful luck for that Ferrari.
Can someone explain to me what happened to the Ferrari? Missed it.
The Lamborghini broke down on pit entry(not the first time) blocking the road. Ferrari come in to make their last stop but are stuck behind the Lamborghini and have to wait for a recovery vehicle. Essentially off the podium now
Lamborghini blocked the pit entrance. No where for the Ferrari to go as it came in. Had to wait for the Lambo to be dragged to the side.
A Lamborghini blocked the pitlane entrance when they were going to pit.
A Huracan died at pit entry and blocked it for the second time, the 296 of Pier Guidi was stuck for a good minute and a half or so, and lost the lead to the V8 Vantage of Drudi who was previously just about 11 seconds behind.
A Lamborghini was parked on pit entry so Ferrari was just stopped there behind it
lambo stopped to block pit lane (again), ferrari got stuck behind it
Lamborghini life goals, to annoy Ferrari. Ferrucio ghost showed up.
I’m rooting for the 007, but man that sucks for Ferrari if they lose. They might just kill Lamborghini
Same. Shit happens in racing but that is some bullshit. That said, I reckon the Ferrari lost by not pitting for the Merc FCY. Was short, but a lot of cars who alternated the lead off-sync did and benefited. Don't think the Ferrari would have emerged in the lead anyway.
I would be losing my fucking mind if I was the 51 team.
That’s crazy
Not a Ferrari fan but I’m just disgusted by that. I can’t tell you how furious I’d be if I was one of those drivers.
Someone scrap that Lambo, effing hell
Outrageous behaviour from Lambo
Pier Guidi is gonna be on crack for the rest of this
Ferrari are cursed at Spa this year it seems
Hehehehe
The Lamborghini should be black flagged and shouldn’t be allowed to leave the pits. Not the first time they’ve done that. They obviously have an issue and it’s fucking the race for others
Nothing proves they could've expected it to happen again
I’m saying they should be black flagged now for blocking pit entrance for a second time
Breaking down isn't against the rules, what are they supposed to be punished for?
That is stunning. WOW. I’d be heated.
Oh my god this is insane
A Lamborghini screwing over a Ferrari out of a victory. Poetic.
This has been manipulated man
No michael this is so not right
I've never seen that
I have never seen something like this with less than 1h... my god
This level of incompetence is amazing.
NO WAY! THAT'S THE DUMBEST WAY TO LOSE
Thats crazy unlucky.
WOW. That is a real kick in the balls
I'd be losing my mind if I was in that Ferrari
Spa needs a wider pit lane.
No fucking way
Unbelievable
What a way to lose a race, good god
My god that’s outrageous!!!!!
Omg
OMG
That's it
Incredible
Hey sir, you can’t park there
Commentators waking up 5 minutes after the actual green flag
They were talking about pass around so I just assumed they were informed we were going SC
Bad bad news for ROWE. They had everything to lose and nothing to gain by pitting early. Don’t quite get why they did that.
A last one guys ?
I have no sound - what's up with the 10?
I swear if that 998 gamble has paid off... :D
I don't see how he can win with that gamble though, even if there's FCY then all of his competitors get their last pitstop for free, while he stopped under green.
Exactly. I don't understand what was it good for. In best case scenario they will be at the same place before they did the pitstop.
Yup
1 hour left
Pier Guidi is one of the best endurance racers right now. On a Hypercar and on a GT.
We probably already have the podium here
can anyone tell me what happened to 46?
Rossi
They started at 21st, at some point they were in 2nd, then made a wrong tyre choice and went back to the 20-something, then Rossi hit another car and Martin got the car back around 14th,, then penalty, then slowly creeping down the grid.
Penalties
for what did they receive penalties? pit lane?
Rossi went bonking
22 cars currently out of race.
Good morning everyone. Anything important I’ve missed in the last 5 hours? Last big event I saw was the 911 out of
yea i know its off topic but guys please help me find the female interviewer 🥹🥹 ty
![gif](giphy|HxMhuDg7O4pKOhhcRC|downsized)
BONK! No horny! ![gif](giphy|HxMhuDg7O4pKOhhcRC|downsized)
yeah obviously…. there could not be any other reasons😒. but thanks
control yourself.
she was beautiful i was interested whether any of you knows anything about her. why be a dickhead immediately?
You need to calm down.
Is 296 most boring GT3 ? That car has no sound.
Agreed. All the pre turbocharged era Ferrari GT cars sounded glorious, but this thing is barely noticeable among a field of other cars.
In my not so biased opinion I find the BMW dullest. Ferrari has the looks backing it up
I wouldn't call it boring but I tend to find V6s usually are the least interesting engines to the ears
Looks fantastic though. Almost makes up for the disappointing sound.
Visibly frustrated Martin out of the No. 46 BMW, I wonder if he's unhappy about Rossi's performance...
Martin is one of the best GT racers but I feel like being paired up with Rossi has cost him some results (though it has to be said Rossi's evolution as a driver has been impressive). I'd feel more dejected if I was Marciello. Just when he was done carrying Boguslavski...
saw that too - pretty negative body language
Yes, slowly/reluctantly strapping Marciello in and slamming the door with visible disgust...
Is the 72 out of cycle?
Is it me or overtaking in GT3 cars just keeps gettibg more difficult? Has downforce increased that much these past few years? I noticed that at Bathurst earlier this year, but Spa usually provides way more passing opportunities.
They just talked about it on the stream and they thought a lot of it was due to BOP having the cars too even.
I just think after so many generations of GT3 the cars are just so much more refined and so close in terms of performance. These cars are still essentially designed for the benefit of amateur drivers and there’s only so much difference a pro driver can make up against another pro driver.
C'mon 51 bring it home on the top step. If they win it's "only" Le Mans left for the 296 GT3 to win in terms of 24 Hour races, right?
Yes. 24 hours of Nurburgring 23, Daytona 24, Spa 24 (if it happens). Next year could be Le Mans.
Here's hoping!
296 GT3 already won last year Nurburgring 24h though
Yeah, Nurburgring, Daytona, If they win here then that'll be Spa. So it would just be Le Mans left on the list I mean?
They probably only care brand over than model. If Spa 24h is WEC race, they probably would care more in 499P, not 296 GT3.
What is the name of the female interviewer who goes around the pitlane interviewing drivers?
Antonia Rankin You're welcome
Men of culture, we meet again
Hungry boy
Herberth casually earning a drivethrough.. interesting strategy.
Lets see if it Pays of for them
?? why are there 13 cars on the lead lap... hmmm maybe all the FCY we had.. Come on now, silly sponsor.
The top 3 are taking off. #92 is falling behind fast, unable to get through the traffic.
I like that by Vesti, these young F1 reserve drivers need to race rather than waste a year sitting next to the team principle in the pits for the cameras
2:45 b4 f1 starts.. Hopefully won't be as much yellow...
TV director, please show the 46 track position. It's lapped or still in the lead lap? We need to know
They were explaining he will likely be able to unlap himself during his stint but will get lapped again as he pits to hand the car over
They are lap down...
It’s a lap down. Only just though
Too aggressive with a lot of time left..
Well, that's just a silly mess.
There go #46's podium chances... Very unlucky this season. :/ EDIT: Seeing the replay, clearly Rossi's fault.
Unlucky he took someone out and caused a big accident?
I didn't see until the replay. Yes, this time it's just a plain driver mistake. Can't blame the weather or anyone else.
It looked like Rossi caused the carnage
Yeah, I just saw now. Took the engineer's advice too literally it seems.
The 24 FCYs of Spa
What a drama for Rossi team
He took that comment of having fun too seriously
Doing their best to get us back to FCY before completing a full lap since the last one Edit: made it two laps
Wow been a while since our little FCY friend.. I thought that rollback was gonna cut in front of that car for a second.. That been helluva thing to happen be taken out by running into the back of a rollback on FCY...
I hate the yellow colour now
As horrible Porchse had today from all issues with cars.. Nice to see 2 of them who are least competitive getting near the end with 5hrs plus left..
Porsche will still somehow get a good result from this race
Gosh the new Vantage is quick
Man, if I was #46, I'd just switch between Lello and Maxime for the rest of the race... it's unbelievable how much time Rossi is losing.
Not only time he's lost now...
Don't kick a man when he's down... :C I really wanted Lello to finally do well in BMW... and then Rossi happened.
Yeah I really am rooting for Lello :( It just hasn't happened for him this year. Not sure why he's been put in that car for this season, but I imagine they want to spread the drivers across the cars to hedge it.
"People are always taking pictures of John's streaks" LMAO
