I have to agree. I love the concept of dress 1 but it would have to be for the right venue (definitely inside) and/or in the right color. Dress 2, that open back is **stunning** on you but I’m skeptical that the tailor would get the rouching around the neckline right.
Maybe a different color at the bottom? Pink? I love the first dress, too....but as you've already stated, it does look like a mishap occurred with coffee.
Yeah I feel like they were trying to go for a blush but something happened. Idk. I was hoping it was the lighting or my phone. The dress is gorgeous and would be perfect if not for the color
Perfectly said. Second one is better, but I'd prefer a different neckline. Backless looks amazing on her. That mocha fade looks like she walked to the ceremony in the rain and through the mud, and it steals all the attention from her amazing skin and figure.
Wow I came to say the same. These are not the prettiest dresses and girl u got the body to pull anything off. That mocha fade in the chiffon tail is tacky, it’s gonna age poorly because it’s a trend. I can see she wants a tail. Maybe have a long vail instead? Idk but the long dress with a tail is pretty outdated
That's exactly what I thought. The contrast isn't stark enough for it to look intentional. It looks like she's been wearing it all day without cleaning it. Maybe if it was black, blue, pink, or purple it could work. But not faded brown/grey. It made me immediately want her to go with dress #2.
I love the first but maybe a muave? It rained all day long for my sisters wedding. Her dress looked exactly like that by the end of the night. 😑 I want to show her this so she will stop being so self conscious about her photos. She can just say thats how it was made. Looked beautiful either way.
Yea or white would have worked. The brown just doesnt look good. The second dress just isnt form fitting enough. Dress 1 front with dress 2 back would be perfect.
I disagree, even if the ruffles came in a different color the dress is so unbalanced and bottom heavy. The dress doesnt have any other notable details so it sucks in all of your attention, people will be looking at the floor the entire wedding.
Everyone here is either being REALLY polite or my brain is screwy. To me it looks like a used tampon on the last day of a period.
The cut is gorgeous. But that color is BAD
2nd is above and beyond better. I love the material - which not many people can pull off, love the back, the draping will look great once it’s in her size
Thank you. I love how uplifting and nice is this community but sometimes is just too nice. Dress 1 is nice if, and only if, it's in specific setup. Overall the bottom looks like female reproductive parts. OP has a lovely figure and definitely can find something that will flatter her but is none of those dresses.
Also happy cake day.
Yes! Mud daughter wore her dress through the mud of a flooded wedding, and it looks just like dress 1! You are gorgeous with an amazing back. I think your perfect dress is still waiting for you.
Edit: MY daughter, not mud daughter
Yeah, my husband and I stood in a creek for our wedding photos and the bottom of my dress was brown ombré from the mud when I got out… that’s all I can see here (but I recognize that’s from my own experience).
I came here to say exactly this! The dress design is beautiful but that color on the bottom looks like it was dragged through the mud! Maybe chose a different color for this ombre effect?
I think keep looking unfortunately.
If these only options, then dress 2. But will the top part be drapey like that when fitted to you? I can’t work out if it’s meant to be halterneck or cowl neck.
Bottom of dress 1 looks dirty to me (sorry!) but I love how the top part fits you
Right?? I agree! The top looks beautiful but the bottom does look like she just ran through the mud ): would be such a good dress if it were all white.
With 100% kindness, please keep looking.
Dress 1, I’m just looking at the bottom of it (I personally like the bottom but it’s taking away from looking at you). Dress 2, I’m just looking at the top and it’s just not showcasing how pretty you actually are.
Edit: thanks for all the awards! ♥️
I agree. OP has a beautiful shape. Dress 1 looks fabulous on, but the bottom of the dress could be problematic for the number of reasons already listed. Dress 2 has a lovely look from the back, but the bodice is not at all flattering.
So, yes, with much kindness, please keep looking for something that combines the top of 1 with the bottom of 2… and don’t forget to show us what you find.
If #1 was not brown at the bottom I think it would be okay but it looks like it’s already been to the party… and not a fan of 2 either. Your feedback is spot on. Such a beautiful bride just needs to find the right gown to shine!
I imagined the bottom in a color. Pink, blue, or green. So lovely.
And the bare back of #2 is AMAZING, but maybe in a different fabric?
I think the bare back is DEF your style!
The bodice I think is meant to be fitted, but because it’s backless they can’t fit it to her shape yet. I think 2 is beautiful, and with the correct size will be what you are saying she should find.
The way it makes her midsection lumpy bothers me too.
I do think it isn’t draped well at all and needs to be folded in, but it’s so tight at the top. I don’t like a cowl neck on this dress at all.
2 is at least two sizes too large for OP. For an effect like this loose halter, the big clamps aren't able to provide a realistic picture of how it'll look in OP's size.
Well yes. My point is just that most people here seem to be ignoring the fact that the version OP is wearing in these pics won't be the same as what she gets if she selects it. The front part will be smaller even *before* alterations, and will likely hang much nicer in her size than this one does.
I’m so happy to see you take the feedback well. At the end of the day you need to go with what you feel and not the crowd opinion - at the end of the day it is you wearing the dress at YOUR wedding. Having said that I agree with the group view there is just something not quite there with these two options …..though a wedding is so much more than the dress.
I say this as politely as possible: please keep looking.
Though I will say dress one definitely has the more flattering silhouette on you (I also like how different it is at the bottom. Consider looking for some off white/champagne/blush dresses as well)
The back on 2 is stunning, but not a huge fan of the front. I don’t think it does anything for you aesthetically.
Love the style of 1, but not the ruffle colors. Is the beige your color scheme? Or is that something that could potentially be swapped out for another color?
This! I actually like the first dress, just not the color on the bottom. It’s very flattering on OP. The second dress is really pretty, but it doesn’t feel particularly bridal.
I am obsessed with dress 1 BUT I dislike the color of the ruffle! It’s such a striking dress and you pull it off so well but it needs to be any other color at the bottom.
I dislike both. Both made me go "ew" for different reasons. I loved the top part of the 1 but as I scrolled down to the mocca part it just looks cheap and bulky. I get what they were going for but no, the execution looks bad. The 2 top looks so bad, removes all shape. I am sure there are similar dresses that look more finished than these two, sorry :/.
Dress one is stunning and I loved it personally until I read the other comments about it looking dirty? Then I got sad. But still like it a lot. Maybe the bottom comes in a more blush color option?
I don’t like number 2 at all it’s just me but you are gorgeous the bottom is fine but there is fabric going every which way as it puckers in all directions at the top. To me it’s not the one but #1 could be the one.
You have an incredible figure and I would keep looking for something similar to either dress but these specific dresses are both off to me.
Something similar to dress 1 but without the distracting color/ombre of the hem. I also don’t think the colors photograph well, and also see muddying of colors. Dress 2 looks phenomenal in the back, but the neckline and your arms/shoulders are not being showcased in their best light, IMO. *Nothing* is going to look *bad* on your figure but I feel like you could kill it in a dress and neither of these are perfect. Or close enough to looking incredible at all angles where the focus is all on YOU. Both dresses have me saying “what’s happening 🧐” either with the train colors or the shelf like chest fold…they draw my attention away from you!
Nope neither. You have an incredibly gorgeous figure and these don’t do you justice. The mermaid or fit and flare will look incredible on you but these just aren’t hitting the mark yet.
Not sure why everyone sees mud on dress 1 when I see coffee gelato. I love coffee gelato. OP, dress 1 looks great on your body. Dress 2 is less flattering on your frame.
Neither one. Dress 1. The bottom looks like an ostrich or bird feathers and is distracting rather than a statement. Dress 2 looks I’ll fitting from the bust as it’s too baggy of a style. There are many other dresses out there for you!
Neither. Love the top on you in the first one but the bottom layered with that pinky/brown is not going to age well in pictures. It actually looks like it’s dirty. The second’s bodice looks like a bib. I personally would try to find a solid colored dress with the lines like the first one.
Dress 1 has an elegant cut up top but the bottom reminds of something… idk, coffee filters? The second dress doesn’t immediately make me feel something, but I would pick it if I had to choose between the two presented here.
I would say to explore your options and keep looking. Widen your net now and you may encounter a dream dress that you wouldn’t have known about had you stopped here. 🙂
Unpopular opinion but I love dress #2. That neckline works so well on those of us smaller boobed & the open back brings in a bit of sexy. Obviously needs some tailoring to make the fitting tight around the curves so the fabric pooling down the neck alludes to the feminine curves instead of blanketing them.
Number 2, but that’s assuming the draping will be fixed with correct size. Your back is gorgeous and was made for an open back dress! I like the concept of the ombré dress but it looks like you stepped in a mud puddle and it’s seeping up the dress - maybe a different color at the bottom would work
Yeah I actually LOVE the latte ruffles! Was really surprised to see so many folks dislike the color, but hey, different opinions make the world go round.
I prefer dress 2 imo. I love the halter neck and open back..And the fabric is so flattering. The blush/champagne bottom of the first could read dirty in the wrong lighting.
Neither tbh :/ don’t like the bottom of dress one or the top of dress two. With love, please keep looking. You have a killer body you’ll look beautiful in everything and there are way better options out there.
Neither. The first one looks like the bottom is dirty. The 2nd dress don't care for the train makes the dress look messy and doesn't flatter your body shape. The dresses aren't a "wow". I want a wedding dress that will make my future husband and guests say "wow".
The first one looks like the aftermath of your runaway bride moment, and I don’t like the top half of the second one. You have a lovely silhouette and should keep looking!
You have a beautiful figure and these dresses don’t do it justice. I think you should keep trying some more on. If I had to pick form these two, I would say #2 but the neckline has to be modified to fit.
Neither, 1 is dated and looks dirty and 2 needs serious neckline work and I would worry how it will actually look after all that tailoring. It’s not an easy dress to tailor and I would be hugely worried I would buy it and not like the end result.
Fit wise, 1 looks fantastic on you. Though unless you absolutely love the blush bottom and you’ve had your heart set on that, I would keep looking. You’ve got a lovely figure and I do wonder if the bottom will be a little distracting.
Oh I disagree with the others. 1 is breathtaking and I certainly didn’t think it looked dirty until others mentioned it. The lighting will be so different in your venue also so I wonder if the lighting in the pic is contributing to the ‘soiled’ look others are referring to. 2 is a stunner as well so you’re lucky to have no wrong choice!!
Side note: I am always blown away by the beautiful posts on here…so many amazing and unique gowns that I never saw at bridal shops when looking.
I would keep looking. Number one looks like you walked through a dirty puddle, I’m sorry. And number two is beautiful except the front does no justice for you.
That first one is so gorgeous and unique! Second one... not so flattering on you.
And not that you asked, but I'd love to see you in a column dress or with more of an A line skirt!
I find 1 looks a little odd if the colour was lighter if would look a lot better but no disrespect it’s a mucky colour. 2 is a bit bridesmaids. These are just my opinions and it depends on what makes you feel best!! You have a stunning figure and will suit anything xx
If beige is your color scheme, I think it would look better if the color went further up the dress to establish that. Otherwise my eyes are drawn to the floor because it looks dirty more than anything. If beige is not in the color scheme, the same #1 dress might do better with a pinker version of the beige look.
I like #2 other than the droopy top in the front because the rest of the dress is fitted to your body.
Between these two choices, I'd pick #2.
I love the concept of dress 1, but the choice of color is off putting. Too bad it wasn’t pink instead of brown. Cuz it’s like she dragged the dress through the dirt.
2 it is
A properly fitted version of dress #2 would be stunning.
I like #1 in theory but not necessarily in practice, if that makes sense. I agree that it could end up just looking dirty in the wrong light.
Personally, I loved 1 and did not see the mud concerns until reading the comments. I do think it depends on the venue. If you are doing any type of outdoor wedding...no 1 in that color. Full church? Have at it! As for 2? You have a fabulous body and the draping on that neckline does not flatter it.
You would be stunning in anything. With love, I don’t think either of these dresses do you justice.
I have to agree. I love the concept of dress 1 but it would have to be for the right venue (definitely inside) and/or in the right color. Dress 2, that open back is **stunning** on you but I’m skeptical that the tailor would get the rouching around the neckline right.
Yes, I like the concept of the ombré but it just looks really dirty.
Exactly. I think it’s gorgeous but putting that color at the bottom of the dress looks like she dragged it through mud before she got to the ceremony.
I agree. There’s a local shop here that is selling this dress and I immediately thought it looked dirty at the bottom. Edit: regarding dress 1
I was wondering how to frame this kindly and am so glad I’m not the only one that thought this.
I agree. It looks dirty. Dress #2 is my choice and you look gorgeous.
It needs to be sparkly baby blue or something. This looks like dusty floors.
Yes. I was thinking pink, but yes.
It literally looks like my dress by the end of the wedding. And that was not a good look. If it was blush instead of nude it would look much better.
100 % agree, on it looking dirty and the neckline on the front of the other looks sloppy. With her cute shape, she will find something else perfect.
I am glad I’m not the only one who saw that, in a a different color it could be really pretty
Yeah, I can't decide if it's "fairy mushroom" or "eldritch horror" but something about the shade of those ruffles just ain't right.
Maybe a different color at the bottom? Pink? I love the first dress, too....but as you've already stated, it does look like a mishap occurred with coffee.
I thought the same! Pink or rum pink, but not “dirty dust” color.
Yeah I feel like they were trying to go for a blush but something happened. Idk. I was hoping it was the lighting or my phone. The dress is gorgeous and would be perfect if not for the color
Ohh. I'm thinking a turquoise shade!
Number one looks like you dusted a dirty floor with your dress
Well worded
Came to say this, you are stunning but the dresses aren’t my favorites for you
Yeah I would absolutely keep looking, neither of these are super stunning or flattering and OP is clearly a gorgeous lady
I think I would like the fade in any other color but in brown it just kind of looks like the dress dragged into the mud :/
That's exactly what I thought. The contrast isn't stark enough for it to look intentional. It looks like she's been wearing it all day without cleaning it. Maybe if it was black, blue, pink, or purple it could work. But not faded brown/grey. It made me immediately want her to go with dress #2.
Yes, I thought the same!
You saying "tail" instead of "train" made me smile. It really is a tail if it is on a mermaid style dress!
So true. She works out and it shows. She could wear a sack and would still be stunning. I love dress 1 on her.
Dress 1 looks like she stepped in a puddle
Agree
Was my 1sr thought too. You can do much better.
I like the clean one.
Agree
Gently, dress 1 doesn’t photograph well. Others have noted it looks “dirty.”
If the ruffle on the bottom were pink instead of nude that would be my hands-down favorite dress. I love it so much.
I love the first but maybe a muave? It rained all day long for my sisters wedding. Her dress looked exactly like that by the end of the night. 😑 I want to show her this so she will stop being so self conscious about her photos. She can just say thats how it was made. Looked beautiful either way.
They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck. 🍀 💖
Awwwe 😢 I know! My mom kept saying that all day... my sister got a divorce recently after 19 yrs. And she brought that up. Made me sad.
Dang, I'm very sorry. That's terrible. Sending healing thoughts into the universe, for your sister.
Alanis Morrissette would disagree
I thought the same thing! It just needs to be a different colour
This is my exact thought. I love the neckline on 2 though.
This! Pink and it's fantastic
Yes! I love what dress 1 wants to do, but it’s just not succeeding.
Yes! If it came in another color it’d be gorgeous.
I think it looks weird from the side view. Maybe it's just the picture but that hump of ruffles...i dunno. It just looks odd to me.
It’s giving upside down latte
Everyone here is either being REALLY polite or my brain is screwy. To me it looks like a used tampon on the last day of a period. The cut is gorgeous. But that color is BAD
I don’t like the cut at all. Or the color. I’d go with the 2nd. She has a nice back and should show it off.
Happy cake day, I agree with you lol Everyone is just being *really* polite
It reminds me of that one scene in Bridesmaids.
It looks like the gills of a mushroom
Yes! Mud daughter wore her dress through the mud of a flooded wedding, and it looks just like dress 1! You are gorgeous with an amazing back. I think your perfect dress is still waiting for you. Edit: MY daughter, not mud daughter
Mud daughter wore her dress through the mud… that… tracks…though .

Wow, that's arguably even more unfortunate
Looks like my wife's dress after our outdoor and rainy wedding.
That was my thought! At first glance I thought it was quite pretty, but that nude ruffle 💯 looks like dirty from walking around all day.
It reminds me of the street scene in Bridesmaids, if you know what I’m talking about…
I kind of love 1. Beautiful shape. But it looks like you walked through a gross city puddle. It comes across brown, not pink.
Or at least if the train color was not a shade of brown.
It would be awesome for a beach wedding cause then it comes pre-stained
I really want someone to buy it for this reason. 😂
1 looks dirty
I imagined the bottom in a color. Pink, blue, or green. So lovely. And the bare back of #2 is AMAZING, but maybe in a different fabric? I think the bare back is DEF your style!
The bodice I think is meant to be fitted, but because it’s backless they can’t fit it to her shape yet. I think 2 is beautiful, and with the correct size will be what you are saying she should find.
No, i’m pretty sure it is an intentional cowl neck halter which is weird
The way it makes her midsection lumpy bothers me too. I do think it isn’t draped well at all and needs to be folded in, but it’s so tight at the top. I don’t like a cowl neck on this dress at all.
Agree with this
2 needs to be taken in around her ribs. If it got some alterations it would be so beautiful.
2 is at least two sizes too large for OP. For an effect like this loose halter, the big clamps aren't able to provide a realistic picture of how it'll look in OP's size.
The dress will likely be ordered in her size and then altered to fit.
Well yes. My point is just that most people here seem to be ignoring the fact that the version OP is wearing in these pics won't be the same as what she gets if she selects it. The front part will be smaller even *before* alterations, and will likely hang much nicer in her size than this one does.
Gotcha!

I'm glad someone said it. With respect to OP, the second dress is just mid, the first one looks like someone spilled coffee all over the bottom.
Dress 1 looks like she ran through a muddy puddle. It’s just not a good look. 2 is much better but I think OP should love their dress
Have you been watching peppa pig? Lol
And they didn’t wear boots!
Agreed. Neither of these blow me away.
Thanks for the feedback. I guess I’m headed back out on the hunt!
I’m so happy to see you take the feedback well. At the end of the day you need to go with what you feel and not the crowd opinion - at the end of the day it is you wearing the dress at YOUR wedding. Having said that I agree with the group view there is just something not quite there with these two options …..though a wedding is so much more than the dress.
dress 1 looks like she fell into mud on her way to the wedding 🤷♀️
I like the top and fit of dress 1. But that bottom is atrocious. The bottom makes it look like someone walked through dirt.
Keep looking, there's a dress out there that will end up looking gorgeous on you.
I say this as politely as possible: please keep looking. Though I will say dress one definitely has the more flattering silhouette on you (I also like how different it is at the bottom. Consider looking for some off white/champagne/blush dresses as well)
They both look too long in the body. I’d like to see something that hits at natural waist.
I’m so sorry beloved but I think both are wrong for you
None pictured
You’re stunning but the dresses don’t show that. Please keep looking.

Keep looking .
2 ! The neck maybe needs adjusting, but it looks stunning on you.
Your body deserves a better dress. I think you could literally look stunning in anything. These dresses at both 6/10 at best. Im sorry
I've seen it in blush and it looks very unfortunate
I LOVE dress 1 personally! But I think you would want to change for the reception because it’s probably hard to move in
Number 2 is my favourite. Just need to drape the neckline a bit. Number 1 looks like you’ve wandered through a muddy field in the rain
Not sure why everyone sees mud on dress 1 when I see coffee gelato. I love coffee gelato. OP, dress 1 looks great on your body. Dress 2 is less flattering on your frame.
#2
I don’t like either
Dress one only if you can get it all white.
Number 2🤩
1 - don’t go there 2 - better but the neck area isn’t flattering.
You’re stunning. Keep looking.
I think the design of dress 1 is amazing but I am just not feeling the camel brown colour...
Dress 1 has an elegant cut up top but the bottom reminds of something… idk, coffee filters? The second dress doesn’t immediately make me feel something, but I would pick it if I had to choose between the two presented here. I would say to explore your options and keep looking.
I like the concept of the ombré dress but it looks like you stepped in a mud puddle and it’s seeping up the dress - maybe a different color at the bottom would work
Yes completely agree about the open back dress!!!
Dress 1 is amazing
Yeah I actually LOVE the latte ruffles! Was really surprised to see so many folks dislike the color, but hey, different opinions make the world go round.
Definitely 2
I prefer dress 2 imo. I love the halter neck and open back..And the fabric is so flattering. The blush/champagne bottom of the first could read dirty in the wrong lighting.
Neither of these are it.
#3
Honestly I would say keep looking!
I’m gonna say, keep looking.
Neither…
Neither tbh :/ don’t like the bottom of dress one or the top of dress two. With love, please keep looking. You have a killer body you’ll look beautiful in everything and there are way better options out there.
Please choose another
Both terrible
Neither. The first one looks like the bottom is dirty. The 2nd dress don't care for the train makes the dress look messy and doesn't flatter your body shape. The dresses aren't a "wow". I want a wedding dress that will make my future husband and guests say "wow".
I don’t like either but that’s just my opinion!!❤️❤️
The skirt of dress 1 looks like you walked through mud at a music festival
I think neither of these are right. 2 doesn’t accentuate your lovely figure at all, and 1 is wearing you. I’d keep looking
Dress #1 but loose the beige coloring. It looks like the dress has been dragged in the dirt.
I must say, dress 2 has a certain, classy look to it. You rock both but I think you look elegant in 2.
2nd one is timeless and beautiful!!!
Neither, 1 is dated and looks dirty and 2 needs serious neckline work and I would worry how it will actually look after all that tailoring. It’s not an easy dress to tailor and I would be hugely worried I would buy it and not like the end result.
Dress 1 is stunning on you! I like 2 also but it’s not a showstopper like 1
1! It is interesting and definitely a show stopper! 2 is beautiful on you, but doesn’t have any wow for me.
I don't think you've found it yet
My jaw dropped on #1 - I loooove that it's so different!
Fit wise, 1 looks fantastic on you. Though unless you absolutely love the blush bottom and you’ve had your heart set on that, I would keep looking. You’ve got a lovely figure and I do wonder if the bottom will be a little distracting.
Whats the theme? Location?
Oh I disagree with the others. 1 is breathtaking and I certainly didn’t think it looked dirty until others mentioned it. The lighting will be so different in your venue also so I wonder if the lighting in the pic is contributing to the ‘soiled’ look others are referring to. 2 is a stunner as well so you’re lucky to have no wrong choice!! Side note: I am always blown away by the beautiful posts on here…so many amazing and unique gowns that I never saw at bridal shops when looking.
Dress 1 if the bottom came in a different color
2. 1 looks dirty
I say neither. Dress 2's neckline looks frumpy, and dress one is nice, but as others said, the color doesn't photograph well
I agree that neither of these dresses do your gorgeous body justice. (Though if you could get number 1 in a pink it would be so fun!)
I would keep looking. Number one looks like you walked through a dirty puddle, I’m sorry. And number two is beautiful except the front does no justice for you.
1 with a different colour bottom will be perfect. It's hard to tell with 2, it's so big on you the clipping has changed the style of the dress.
Dress 3
White one. The one with brown looks dirty to me.
Keep looking, neither are good
That first one is so gorgeous and unique!
Respectfully- either keep looking or dress number 2 with alterations already mentioned. You have such a great figure you have numerous options
Between these two choices, I'd pick #2.
neither :(
I love the concept of dress 1, but the choice of color is off putting. Too bad it wasn’t pink instead of brown. Cuz it’s like she dragged the dress through the dirt. 2 it is
With correct alterations #2 would be stunning
Neither! You deserve better!
1!!!
Number 1! For sure! It will photograph well in the light especially! Please get this one!
Keep looking sister!
A properly fitted version of dress #2 would be stunning. I like #1 in theory but not necessarily in practice, if that makes sense. I agree that it could end up just looking dirty in the wrong light.
You have a stunning figure! It’s not you but the dresses that I must say to keep looking.
2!!!!!
#2 it’s so pretty on you!
