Friend in HS accidentally spilled a full bottle of Rush like that on the lab table we shared for physics class. Proceeded to lay his head down on the desk and take deep breaths every few minutes after that till it evaporated. Physics teacher was very confused but other didn’t catch on to what happened, or decided to ignore it.
Before the smoking ban was introduced, I watched a guy confuse the unlit cigarette in one hand with the unlidded bottle of amyl in the other and bring the wrong one to the offer of a light. Took me a good 5 seconds to realise his flaming hand was not a hallucination.
Could be a crafts jar. Could’ve held something and been cleaned out. Who knows. Some old fishing bats used to be packaged like that. Salmon eggs come to mind. Also looks like the jar Hank Hill bought crack in thinking it was fishing bait.
My reaction everytime someone posts a picture of a tiny jar. This happens too fuckin often.
Its a tiny jar! Its intended use is for whatever you deem can go in there... and everyone is gunna say drugs. Its a tiring gag and all my fucks to give about these posts are in this jar.
Depends, which answer do you like best?
My mom used to make Christmas ornaments using little jars like that. So it could be used for crafts.
Or
It's somebody's cocaine or fentanyl stash jar. It's small enough to fit either. In which case, if you found it off the street, you should wash your hands.
The cocaine comment seems to be the closest so far. Based on the residue in the last photo, I would guess that this was used as a snuff vial (and for those unfamiliar, snuff in this context refers to powdered tobacco). I worked in a head shop 10000 years ago, and we sold those in both clear and brown.
The 5 could refer to the number of milliliters the bottle holds. May have been an ink sample for fountain pens, or a bottle for essential oils. You can buy tiny bottles in all sorts of shops these days, especially those dealing in Wicca supplies.
edited to correct misspelling.
I have a Tobasco sauce bottle about this size. I've got it at breakfast at some hotel. It seems like a gimmick, but I kept the bottle, since it is cool to have a miniature Tobasco bottle.
Most common use is powdered drugs. Seems to have brown residue around the top an inside the lid. Could really be sure without giving it a sniff of residual content.
Someone who is not me, or anyone I know, would probably use that to hold cocaine...I think but I'm not sure, cause I'm not really around drugs or anything like that ever.
That’s for drugs, probably cocaine. If you examine closely on the bottom there appears to be some white residue stuck to the glass. These little vials are popular for that purpose, probably purchased at some craft store or a head shop but yeah. That’s for cocaine.
It might be an old contact lens vial. Normally manufacturers use these types of vials for speciality lenses “high prescriptions or something out of the norm”.
My grandpa use to keep his nitro tablets in one in case he had another heart attack. I don't know if they came in it or if he put them there so it was a smaller container to carry around
If it was tinted I would say it's a nitroglycerin bottle but it looks clear so I'm leaning to a craft bottle for jewelry or like the others say a coke bottle.
Can you put a needle through the top of it? Like is the middle of the top made of rubber? It looks like an insulin container, or one for medicine that gets injected.
May have originally been for Nitroglycerine tablets. I work in pharmaceuticals and that used to be a common package size and type because it would easily fit in a shirt or pants pocket.
My grandfather used to carry his nitroglycerin pills in one of those containers, kept them dry and from crushing in his pocket. The pills are what they give/gave heart patients when they felt a heart issue coming on.
The predominant uses of a jar this size seem to involve narcotics. I do use them for storing food and snacks for my betta fish. Also for paints I use when making fishing lures.
It appears to be very old as evidenced by the stamp on the bottom and the porcelain glass lining of the lid. What it contained back in the day is a mystery.
Could also have been an oil - totally looks like everyone’s suggestions too - but I have a ton of tiny ones like this that sometimes come with aromatherapy / scented oils so you can mix them.
Looks to be a 5ml bottle, but not a modern style. You can buy these for \~$.25 or less if you buy in bulk, but a modern one will have an aluminum or plastic cap and this one appears to be steel. And based on that age I would not think it was used for drugs any time recently.
Now I may or may not have experience here, but I've definitely heard a rumor that a gram of Bolivian marching powder will fit that jar just about perfectly... Just a rumor of course....
It’s a glass vessel- posting this is like posting a mason jar and asking what it is. It’s exactly what it looks like it is and could be used in all the ways you might imagine using it lol
It's an animal vaccine jar. Find these a lot on or near old farmland. Vaccines still come powdered in little glass bottles like this. You add a bit of bacteriostatic water or other diluent with a syringe to reconstitute it.
Could also be steroids, hormones, or a vitamin shot for humans too I s'pose.
People are still snorting Coke?
I can’t imagine the Coke today is the same as in the 80’s. Even then there were some sketchy things being passed off as coke. If you ever had the real thing you’d know.
Looks like a nitro bottle (little pills for your heart) from prison. Someone’s filled it with instant coffee for bartering or just bringing it wherever they’re going without having to carry the whole deal.

It's a small glass container...
Actually a small glass container complete with lid assembly!
...which contained the zombie virus
The next epidemic!! Damn!
Ummm looks around at all the crazy flags… that cat is already outta the bag!
It's for your coke, duh.
1 gram of coke fits perfect, there may be legitimate uses
I was thinking RUSH, but I'm old and used to go to Discos. Edited, changed thing to thinking.
Amyl was my first thought too.

Rush, rush, give me yayo
Friend in HS accidentally spilled a full bottle of Rush like that on the lab table we shared for physics class. Proceeded to lay his head down on the desk and take deep breaths every few minutes after that till it evaporated. Physics teacher was very confused but other didn’t catch on to what happened, or decided to ignore it.

Man, you guys took me right back to high school/college, totally forgot about Rush & Amyl - good times!
My first thought as well
Same. That pic took me right back to rushing to/in the bathroom at school.
I don't use cocaine, I just like how it smells.
Yes: Hiding the coke. Transporting the coke. Keeping the coke dry.
The second I saw it, I went, "That's a coke bottle."
What do you drink it one sip at a time?!
Living on reds, vitamin C and cocaine
All I can say is ain't it a shame.
This is the correct answer…. But I’m not really sure how i know this
Could be a crafts jar. Could’ve held something and been cleaned out. Who knows. Some old fishing bats used to be packaged like that. Salmon eggs come to mind. Also looks like the jar Hank Hill bought crack in thinking it was fishing bait.
The way that fish looked up at him was hilarious.
You can also just by the empty for decorative purposes
It's where I kept my fucks. As you can see I ran out and have yet to restock.
I have to... https://youtu.be/Vqbk9cDX0l0
My reaction everytime someone posts a picture of a tiny jar. This happens too fuckin often. Its a tiny jar! Its intended use is for whatever you deem can go in there... and everyone is gunna say drugs. Its a tiring gag and all my fucks to give about these posts are in this jar.
And Costco is fresh out, tried to get some in bulk the other day 🙃
It’s for drugs, it’s always for drugs
Drugs er bad mmmkay
It’s a lighter. Used to ignite various combustible materials.
Came here for this. Not leaving disappointed.
Come on guys, that's a fuckin crack vial
Crack gets one corner of a cheap sandwich bag.

Looks like a little arts and craft bottle you can buy from hobby lobby.
The barking dick wins.
Woodn't it be woodpecker, dick + bark
I was thinking looks like modeling paint container.
They also sell them that size at the Dollar Tree
Small jar....?
Looks like the jars model paint comes in
I used to keep my coke in a vial just like that back in the 90's.
Depends, which answer do you like best? My mom used to make Christmas ornaments using little jars like that. So it could be used for crafts. Or It's somebody's cocaine or fentanyl stash jar. It's small enough to fit either. In which case, if you found it off the street, you should wash your hands.
yea , lick them clean
White lightning
That's our old Blow containers
Nitroglycerin bottle for angina
Should be amber instead of clear
That’s where you put your crack.
Why did it take so many comments to get to this answer?
Mini bottle. Just like the bic, they come mini.
Might have been a dram of candy oil?
This is my guess. The oil that I used to buy in the 80s the bottle was square but same size. (One drop was usually too much). Make candy out of it.
The bottle looks very similar to what they use to keep contacts in.
The 5 could refer to the number of milliliters the bottle holds. May have been an ink sample for fountain pens, or a bottle for essential oils. You can buy tiny bottles in all sorts of shops these days, especially those dealing in Wicca supplies. edited to correct misspelling.
Cocaine or Molly. Or any other substance you take a "bump" of.
Cocaine Container...derp
It’s a booger sugar bottle 👍🏽
I've seen this with like, holy water from the Vatican, sand from beaches people visited, etc etc
Coke vial
Could be arta and crafts, or drug paraphernalia as others have said. It could also be for smelling salts if it's old enough, they weren't uncommon.
It's a hell of a drug
That appears to be a small class jar.
I have a Tobasco sauce bottle about this size. I've got it at breakfast at some hotel. It seems like a gimmick, but I kept the bottle, since it is cool to have a miniature Tobasco bottle.
Used to get those tiny Tobasco bottles in the Army in MREs. It was the only way to make some of them edible.
If it's got a rubber bit in the cap then it's a liquid medicine bottle. Commonly used for cats shots.
Most common use is powdered drugs. Seems to have brown residue around the top an inside the lid. Could really be sure without giving it a sniff of residual content.
It's a container for something small enough to fit in there.... Like powdered drugs, for example.
Run pinky around inside, Rub onto gums, Enjoy.
looks like the vials they use for Meth and crack coke ect.
Ancient coke container‼️🤨
You can keep rocks in it. Small rocks.
Someone who is not me, or anyone I know, would probably use that to hold cocaine...I think but I'm not sure, cause I'm not really around drugs or anything like that ever.
If you wanna get down, you gotta take her out...
Looks like the bottles Nitroglycerin pills use to come in
Almost reminds me of the little jars model paint comes in
That vial contains enough fentanyl to kill everyone in the tristate area 10x over.
Not sure of the size. Could you re-photograph it with a banana?
We might need a banana for scale.
Sulfur
My guess is it's an old bottle that held prescription medication. I've got a few of these.
Snooter
and you can put your drugs in it...
It's for email nitrate used to sniff that stuff in the '80s
That’s for drugs, probably cocaine. If you examine closely on the bottom there appears to be some white residue stuck to the glass. These little vials are popular for that purpose, probably purchased at some craft store or a head shop but yeah. That’s for cocaine.
Contacts or a model paint jar
People use these when they really wanna go skiing, but it’s June in Miami.
Looks like a cocaine bottle
Looks like what my contact lenses used to come in
could put safran inside
I use small ones like that for like herbs for things….
Oh yeah.... I definitely have a clue
Contact lenses used to be packed in those
Cardiac nitroglycerine container
You can keep your weed in there.
Snow jar....
If it was tinted I would say it's a nitroglycerin bottle but it looks clear so I'm leaning to a craft bottle for jewelry or like the others say a coke bottle.
Old contact lens bottle?
Dram sized container.
Also used in gold panning, I have several flakes in a small jar like this
Energy shot bottle?
Can you put a needle through the top of it? Like is the middle of the top made of rubber? It looks like an insulin container, or one for medicine that gets injected.
Looks like one of those ads for this amount of fentanyl could kill you.
Nitro tabs?
Pirates used these to store iocane powder.
Looks like the glass bottle nitroglycerin tabs are stored in, without the label.
A little glass vial 😏
PCP vial…
For heart attack meds? Shoulda been a couple white pills in it?
Booger sugar holder!
While that's older looking, there's a modern candle company that puts these in the candles and they hold a little diamond
a bic lighter and a demon jar that should never be open... nevermind, uhh, good luck with your new attachment, i mean jar...
I’ll give you a hint, it rhymes with brocaine.
Crack jar.
Empty nitro pill bottle
May have originally been for Nitroglycerine tablets. I work in pharmaceuticals and that used to be a common package size and type because it would easily fit in a shirt or pants pocket.
Coke vile
booger suga container
When I see those in stores, they're usually filled with beach sand and maybe a tiny shell.
Should have left it sealed. You've just released the ghost of atreides, the scourge of sandworms everywhere.
Nitro pill holder
It probably had tritium gas inside before you opened
Model paint container
Nobody said dmt yet??
It's an old glycerin bottle, aka lube. Very common back in the day, you know.
Glass vial
You can buy these containers at any store in the craft section. 3-4 pack depending on size
My grandfather used to carry his nitroglycerin pills in one of those containers, kept them dry and from crushing in his pocket. The pills are what they give/gave heart patients when they felt a heart issue coming on.
You can buy these at most dollar stores or craft stores. It's just a small bottle
Nitroglycerine tablet container.
Looks like Bic lighter
Safran glass that was so cute they decided to keep it
My nitrogen pills come in a jar that size
*sings* Cocaineeee
The predominant uses of a jar this size seem to involve narcotics. I do use them for storing food and snacks for my betta fish. Also for paints I use when making fishing lures.
It appears to be very old as evidenced by the stamp on the bottom and the porcelain glass lining of the lid. What it contained back in the day is a mystery.
Came for the laughs. Y’all never disappoint.
You put your drugs in it
Cum jar
Could also have been an oil - totally looks like everyone’s suggestions too - but I have a ton of tiny ones like this that sometimes come with aromatherapy / scented oils so you can mix them.
That appears to be a phial
Looks to be a 5ml bottle, but not a modern style. You can buy these for \~$.25 or less if you buy in bulk, but a modern one will have an aluminum or plastic cap and this one appears to be steel. And based on that age I would not think it was used for drugs any time recently.
Small bottle, sz. 5
That's a little glass vial. Lots of things can come in them. I have one full of rodent teeth.
My first thought was nitro pills
My grandfather’s nitroglycerin pills were in a bottle like that but amber colored glass. Way back in the 1960’s!🌞
Went to Knotts Berry Farm when I was ten (1966) and panned for gold. The gold I found was put into a glass vial exactly like this. I still have it.
Military used to put water purification tablets in vials like this. By the millions. And send them out with ration packs
C-c-c-c-c-c-c-…
Now I may or may not have experience here, but I've definitely heard a rumor that a gram of Bolivian marching powder will fit that jar just about perfectly... Just a rumor of course....
Nitrogen pill bottle for heart attacks
The 80’s is calling
That’s what contact lenses used to come in about 30 years ago.
Old nitro for heart
its looks a regular drug vial without the pop top and rubber stopper
Put your pandimensional spacedust in it! (N,N DMT)
Well, sir, that there appears to be a tiny bottle.
Coke vial, also honey oil jar, live resin jar, cold pressed rosin jar, diamond sauce jar....
Probably for medicine back when most drugs were compounded in some way.
Might have been for nitroglycerin tablets for heart patients. Pills are tiny and you want them handy if you need them.
lol uhhhhh
Vintage model paint jar?
Put the white shit on your tounge, if it goes numb it’s cocaine yay!!
By opening it, you have just released a demon which shall rule us all for millions of years, thanks
That's a Big lighter
Yes everyone has a clue. You dont.
Nitroglycerin or blow
It’s a glass vessel- posting this is like posting a mason jar and asking what it is. It’s exactly what it looks like it is and could be used in all the ways you might imagine using it lol

It's a Nitroglycerin medication bottle
Lol they sell them at the 1.25 store I used them to create little jars of things for my nieces barbie kitchen 😂
You put your weed in it.
You let the ghost out!
Insulin jar
"I DO COCAINE!" - Dr. Rockzo
People are still snorting Coke? I can’t imagine the Coke today is the same as in the 80’s. Even then there were some sketchy things being passed off as coke. If you ever had the real thing you’d know.
Pretty sure I saw Walter White carrying one of these around!
That's a lighter. A Bic I believe.
Looks like a nitro bottle (little pills for your heart) from prison. Someone’s filled it with instant coffee for bartering or just bringing it wherever they’re going without having to carry the whole deal.
Coke vile
Movie prop from Scarface?
