In order
FP license plate in Illinois is Fraternal Order of the Police donation plates. Often used by rental companies to write off their registration on their taxes.
No, FP on left side is fleet plate.
Fraternal Order of Police plate is suffixed with āPOā on the right side. Chicago PD Memorial Foundation is suffixed with āCPā on the right side.
Not necessarily. This is often the case with leases. (Iām not sure what the FP plate might indicate in favor of any conclusion hereā¦.) Where I live in NYC, automated camera tickets (speeding, red light violations, some bus lane violations) are sent to the registered owner. In the case of most (all?) leased vehicles, the registered owner is still the manufacturer or whatever entity they have created to house leased vehicles. Then the manufacturer has to submit a ātransfer of liabilityā request with evidence to show that particular car was leased to Person X when the summons was issued.
I'm kinda thinking it's " public information " if you know how to look for it online. Nothing really crazy just reddit there's nearly always someone who's knowledgeable on the oddest things.
the car is probably stolen and you are sharing info that can harm the owner that could have been harmed already.
either dox the plate then call the cops or leave it as is.
the internet isn't just the usa.
you seriously might have just made someones life awful by doing some basic net action for up doots.
drink the dumbfug juice and downvote this like a narcissist
let the fomo drag you and your friends into a worse plane of existence devoid of genuine dopamine
You sound like a lot of fun. Anyone can run a plate, you can even get info right from the dmv just as a regular person.
The vehicle doesnāt belong to an individual.
And if it did explain to me what could be done with this information to find the person?
Why wouldn't it be. U can't pay cash eith no id anymore for rentals. It'd all linked to your drivers license and your credit card. Find the company, find the renter, found the would be thief.
The plate itself could be stolen.
One of my plates was stolen years ago off my car. Reported it to the police and they said "It probably just fell off". A week later the cops called me and said they recovered my plate. It was used on a stolen car to commit crimes.
Yea sorry captain grammer... auto correct changed couldve to could of... I'll contact Samsung immediately and let them know their system auto correct system is fucked up. That'll be my main focus today.
Unless the rental was stolen from the rental lot either by breaking into the night drop box and getting the key or using an RF reader/relay to pull the signal from inside the tiny office out to the guy trying each vehicle.
Man I hope u ain't gonna go down the "what if its stolen" rabbit hole too... cause in ur theory, if it was they'd have a face of the theif... but I ain't goin down that rabbit hole any further. Other dudes way too far down that hole to continue that argument.
Cars are just too easy to steal nowadays and there is a good chance they were wearing masks or hoodies to cover their faces from cameras. Only morons use their own vehicles or obtain one through legitimate means before committing crimes. That is why the "it's stolen" theory is so prevalent.
What if they stole it from someone who stole it from the rental company who actually stole it from the police impound lot when it was discovered stolen from a delivery service parking lot?
no there is multiple sites where you can look it up though
[https://epicvin.com/](https://epicvin.com/)
Pretty sure their shit would be better than what we can look up. Every time I've rented a car I've got a receipt when i returned it with the vehicle info on in, including tag number and VIN.
Still better than nothing, and can you tell which company it is? also OP already reported it to the police. In addition to a possibility of the vehicle being stolen or carjacked
My receipts show all the vehicles info, including owner (rental company), my name, drivers license number and even MY insurance info. Every time I've rented a vehicle it's been "ok you chose this type of vehicle, go pick one" then at the end of the rental agreement. That specific vehicle was assigned to me. If OP reported it to the fuzz them all they gotta do is wait. If uts been stolen then it would've been reported all ready and the fuzz would know it's a stolen rental. Not to be a dick but this shits not that hard my guy.
Man it bsounding like u just wanna be right on this one lol. I've rented cars in numerous states and got the same results as far as my rentals. I've rented a van and a motorcycle while I was in Germany which was the only time I thatbwas different.... which in those cases I had the vehicle info before I even signed the agreement.... but let's just go with one of ur theory's and say that I'm wrong, ur right, the car/tag was stolen.... OPs bro called the cops and got nowhere. He got his police report though so he can file whatever claim he needs to with his insurance company. Either way... OPs bro sort of wins...
That's a Tennessee business fleet plate, could be a rental, but could also be a company plate, someone who has their own company would have this type of plate... worth a shot to see where it leads you
Dodge Durango, Stolen Edition.
It's not going to be useful to search for because it's stolen too.
Very common in Houston theft crews, lets them have a disposable high capacity, low attraction vehicle.
That tracks, I work in insurance and those get stolen left and right.
Stolen, they go do donuts in the middle of an intersection for an hour, lead the police on a high speed chase, then wrap it around a telephone pole.
Tell your friend to look into some theft prevention, more than just an alarm. Something like a hidden battery or fuel pump cutoff switch.
At this point, sheās just wanting a new car. This isnāt the first time someone has tried to steal it. This time was scary because the guy acted like he was going to hit us with his car. They stopped at the last minute and drove away.
If she likes v8 sedans then she might like a Lexus IS 500 F SPORT or Cadillac CT5-v blackwing. Unfortunately there arenāt many options for a v8 sedan anymore. Stay away from the Chrysler 300c, because it is the same car as the Charger basically. It will probably stay somewhat under the radar compared to the charger but it is best not to risk it.
Just to note, all they need is your vin. So don't think they couldn't come back. With a vin you can program a key in seconds on an Android phone and start the car right up and drive away. Very common with Dodges (hence him driving a stolen Durango...) but can be done on virtually every car make other than Mercedes.
We did. I thought it would be helpful to know the type of car while they were on the way. Also, since they tried to run my friend over, so we would know and avoid it.
Dodge Durango
Tail light says it all.

Looks like Kylo Ren mask to me.
And it was probably stolen as well, quite common
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Duh. Go buy yourself a treat.
Oh thanks man I thought this was a car from the 70s
The 70ās!?!
No kidding š¤£
Wonder why that guy got severely downvoted for his addition that itās not an early model of that generation
Hellen Keller could tell thatās not an old Durango. It would be like adding that āit has 4 tires if that helps narrow it downā

Stolen off a dealer lot if it's still got Fiat Chrysler of America reg.
Lol I was gonna say. Probably also stolen.

Most likely a rental of some sort or just a stolen plate. Definitely a fleet plate tho

How did you get that from the plate
Lol it's reddit
For real though how. My guess is there is an online db in the dark web he paid to get access to? Or maybe heās just in law enforcement
I'm kinda thinking it's " public information " if you know how to look for it online. Nothing really crazy just reddit there's nearly always someone who's knowledgeable on the oddest things.
Faxvin is a good starting place
Cool tx
Happy cake day!
Thank you!
I work in auto sales. I can run appraisals based on plates that will pull the vin
you're probably doxxinmg a stolen car and making a victims info available for further abuse
It's registered to Chrysler, not a person
I gave information on a car not whoās in it
the car is probably stolen and you are sharing info that can harm the owner that could have been harmed already. either dox the plate then call the cops or leave it as is. the internet isn't just the usa. you seriously might have just made someones life awful by doing some basic net action for up doots. drink the dumbfug juice and downvote this like a narcissist let the fomo drag you and your friends into a worse plane of existence devoid of genuine dopamine

bad argument because everyone that just saw the plate didn't need to see the plate or vin.
Bad argument from you? I agree
Dodge Durango - Post 2014.
no use of the licence plate as it is most likely a rental as it says "fleet plate" on the side
Why wouldn't it be. U can't pay cash eith no id anymore for rentals. It'd all linked to your drivers license and your credit card. Find the company, find the renter, found the would be thief.

autocorrect never does that, you did it.
Just like it never splits auto correct like it did on mine but not one urs right? Fuck off guy...
Autocorrect learns from your typing habits. It's a direct reflection of that.
prick
i disabled autocorrect a decade ago.

If its a rental you can go to fleet pride with a warrant date and time.
Or stolen as well
What state is the plate?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Vin is 1C4RDJDG6PC625021 registered in Illinois itās a rental

(And easy to steal)
One with an unfortunately low number of bullet holes in it
Recent Dodge Durango
Iām gonna say that one was also stolen š
Now that the stolen car is known, I am curious as to what car did they try to steal from yer friend
I think itās a newer dodge charger, but like a special edition one? Iām honestly terrible at cars.

FP is āfleet plateā FOP PLATE IS blue/gold.
Ah, ours here are like the other style. Thx
sent this to the police instead of uploading it to reddit for karma.
