Looks like a wax seal stamp

sacrebIue

Yep, we have 1 one at home from my great grand parents. The stamp part looks the same (with diff carving offcourse)

PomegranatePlanet

It looks like a Tibetan silver piece to me: [1](https://zentnercollection.com/product/small-tibetan-buddhist-kangling-bone-flute/) [2](https://www.rubylane.com/item/2248209-01/TIbetan-Silver-Wax78-Seal-Stamp-Carved) [3](https://www.alamy.com/tibet-conch-shell-trumpet-conch-shell-deorated-with-tibetan-silver-image68560538.html?imageid=17F32FC9-F4AA-434B-906C-F9DCC23E2595&p=214719&pn=1&searchId=80ea5175069bf602f8fa86ea3ecf8817&searchtype=0) I agree with u/LordOvrkill that it looks like a wax seal.

I think you and u/PomegranatePlanet are on to something.

Hedonisthistory

If it's Tibetan, there is a chance that it's human bone, although it looks unlikely looking at it.

Absolutely a wax seal stamp. I have one with my initials on.

zoey_utopia

It might be Tibetan, as others have said. But it also looks an awful lot like the work of the metal artist Ugo Serrano.

BabalonNuith

The stamp is that of the conch shell, one of the Buddhist 8 Treasures and also is held in the hand of the Indian Deity Vishnu.
