While not a bank, Vanguard. Really high default money market 5.27% No gimmicks I just transfer between their account and my credit union

NateVsMed

This. VMFXX and chill

InvestigatorMoist494

I have Marcus by Goldman Sachs. I love their app it’s very straightforward. 4.50% without a referral and 5.50% with a referral for 3 months. I’ve had mine for about 1 year.

cocainefueledturtle

I have Amex….. no complaints

No-Fig-2665

What does this mean?

Gold_Oven_557

AmEx has it's own online bank with HYSA, etc. They are not just a credit card.

slantoflight

I also use WealthFront and am happy with it, getting 5%. I won’t post a referral link, I think that’s why these are getting downvoted. But it’s a perfectly good HYSA.

dapianoguy

Would second this.

thehomiemoth

Also doubles as a checking account, I keep all my money in there

MDfoodie

Laurel Road, Marcus by GS, anyone you want that meets your needs.

ravizzle

Wealthfront is the best for hysa

kevkevlin

Treasury direct tbills plus you don't have to pay state taxes

Russianmobster302

I used SoFi but it wasn’t good for me since I became a student again and no longer had direct deposit set up or any income. I switched to Marcus by Goldman Sachs and I love it. The website and app have a great UI. They do 4.5% APY I believe. If you’re interested in a referral link, you and I will both get 1% extra for the next 3 months. I’m not trying to be that guy who throws his referral link in people’s faces so if you’re interested then I’ll share

Peds12

Any of them. This doesn't matter.

Jozhou6891

CIT bank with ~5%, pretty easy to deposit and withdraw when needed.

Significant_Aioli347

Marcus by Goldman Sachs. Had it for years

3Hooha

Betterment for me and my wife. 5%

dontcrowdtheplow

MyBankingDrect is 5.55% with no fees. Though minimum is actually $5,000. You’re fairly close to the minimum so I included it.

Col_Angus999

Red neck bank. Don’t laugh.

Nani2429

I love Barclays no complaints. I enjoy online banking for saving accounts so I dont have easy access to it to spend on unnecessary things lol

PotentialAncient6340

Panacea financials is 4.7%! Switched to that bank once I started residency

Secret_Switch_3948

Discover at 4.25, can get higher if you lock away for 12 months? Or 6 months Love the app and easy to use if you already have a discover credit card

anomerica

Wealthfront. 5% or 5.5% for 3 months with a referral link Here’s mine. Use this link to sign up for a Wealthfront Cash Account and we'll both get +0.50% on the current APY! https://www.wealthfront.com/c/affiliates/invited/AFFA-UVQF-P4OS-9GOX

IEatSweetTeeth

https://www.wealthfront.com/c/affiliates/invited/AFFC-9F1M-AFFL-6I9N Feel free to use this referral link OP. I started using Wealthfront a month ago and I’ve been pleased with it.

dapianoguy

lol downvotes only because of the referral link 😂

anomerica

I mean Christ, just trying to person who posted. It’s a big difference. And I didn’t include my link at first until someone below me piggybacked my post and posted their link

horny_reader

Currently have 4.5% through citizens access

Bradymyhero

For $3k it really doesn't matter. Whether it be a 4 or 5% rate, you're talking a handful of dollars difference in interest earnings, that too before tax. Amex's HYSA is very easy to use without gimmicks
