I have Marcus by Goldman Sachs. I love their app it’s very straightforward. 4.50% without a referral and 5.50% with a referral for 3 months. I’ve had mine for about 1 year.
I also use WealthFront and am happy with it, getting 5%. I won’t post a referral link, I think that’s why these are getting downvoted. But it’s a perfectly good HYSA.
I used SoFi but it wasn’t good for me since I became a student again and no longer had direct deposit set up or any income. I switched to Marcus by Goldman Sachs and I love it. The website and app have a great UI. They do 4.5% APY I believe.
If you’re interested in a referral link, you and I will both get 1% extra for the next 3 months. I’m not trying to be that guy who throws his referral link in people’s faces so if you’re interested then I’ll share
Wealthfront. 5% or 5.5% for 3 months with a referral link
Here’s mine. Use this link to sign up for a Wealthfront Cash Account and we'll both get +0.50% on the current APY!

I started using Wealthfront a month ago and I’ve been pleased with it.
I mean Christ, just trying to person who posted. It’s a big difference. And I didn’t include my link at first until someone below me piggybacked my post and posted their link
For $3k it really doesn't matter. Whether it be a 4 or 5% rate, you're talking a handful of dollars difference in interest earnings, that too before tax.
Amex's HYSA is very easy to use without gimmicks
While not a bank, Vanguard. Really high default money market 5.27% No gimmicks I just transfer between their account and my credit union
