It often detects biking while I play the drums. It uses people's manual activity entries, heart rate output, HRV and probably some internal testing to try and auto-identify activities.
Curious if you actually maintained a like 110 bpm while shopping or if there are some erroneous readings
Mine congratulated me on my hour of stairmaster this week. I was sitting on the couch crocheting and relaxing XD (I have a chronic illness though, so my whoop use looks a lot different than the athletes it's designed for)
Nothing bothers my wife more than my whoop detecting yoga in our most stressful time of the day (like putting the kids to bed.)
Jokes aside, my whoop has been detecting bjj pretty consistently recently, which is good I think.
Whoop is telling you to start blasting doubles when you're out and about - Let's go champ

I got Yoga this week while playing Xbox. HR wasn't even that high for the period, not sure why.
Im a firefighter and my whoop detected wrestling while fighting a fire last week.
