Check Adventure sports

Miami has lots of different spots and conditions. Not sure where you're staying and/or how mobile you will be. But here's my 2 cents anyways! For *beginners* the two best spots IMO are 1) Matheson Hammock Park/Adventure Sports - Friendly staff and I'm partial to this school since I learned there 10 years ago. Some of the instructors are the same, and the locals are friendly. It's also the bay so not danger of getting dragged out to sea, shallow enough you can stand if need be and flat water. All conducive to learning. 2) Crandon Park/Miami Kiteboarding - pretty much the same as above, whilst a bit pricier (you pay for the luxury of Key Biscayne). Beautiful park though with a natural area so if you get skunked you can always check that out! Lastly, while I don't have much experience with TKS the only thing I'll say is as a beginner you will be in onshore conditions, deep water, and possibly surf. While not impossible this will most likely slow your progress and the beach area is a bit more restrictive.

Thank you! This is amazing.

Edit: seeing that you’ll be wing foiling. You may go through EFoilUSA as well. Great coaches, gear, and they’re mobile. Matheson Hammock is a bit shallow for foils, especially at low tide. My apologies I was switching from the Kiteboard group to the Wingfoil group!

That is market rate for most places in the USA. Go overseas for half price maybe? Cabarete is half price vs the USA for kite lessons

I know. I just have a trip to Miami so I thought to try some lessons. Wanted to make sure I was looking at the right places since there’s always the “tourist area” where prices are super exaggerated and the local area where prices are more decent.

They service all over Miami depending on where the wind is best
