Many of these artists have multiple good songs, I just didn't feel like writing that much lol. If your looking for more acid rock or more modern songs you can try blood ceremony, jess and the ancient ones, Crane wives, witchcraft, psychedelic witchcraft (the last two are band names not genres)
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Kiki Rockwell! She's a pagan and includes a lot of drumming in her songs.
Id recommend
Same Old Energy
Burn Your Village
Arrow to the Knee
Also:
Litha by Nadiiife
Blyth by Faery
Inkubus sukkubus is a Pagan band.
The Hades video game soundtrack I use a lot as background noise for witchy stuff.
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3AGYhOS1Ymw5UL24qsAJSL?si=o_ewvg60QQeiwTDywwS8GA
This is a link to my Pagan playlist. It's a mix of vocals and instrumental.
It depends on what you find witchy. It could be generic celtic music, or The Craft score soundtrack, or Loreena Mckennith (mystical) or Blackmore's Night (folk). It's quite personal I guess
Heilung makes some pretty awesome pagan-esk tribal music and really gets me in the meditation zone! Warning though, there's some throat singing in it if that can be a bit off putting at first!
I've got a set of some Old Keys:
"Gwydion Pendderwen" and his "Songs for The Old Religion"
And for the more modern neopagan, almost Anything by "Eluvietie" they have hymns to Epona, Ogmios, Lugos, among others; in reconstructed Gaulish.
And I'm surprised no one has mentioned
"Loreena McKennit" Or "Blackmoors Night" yet?
I like to use any song that evokes the energy I'm trying to work with, doesn't need to fit the witchy aesthetic necessarilly. But a few I feel drawn to and give a subtly 'witchy' vibe include:
Diamond- Chinchilla
Manipulate- Mxze, Clarei
Need- Kazukii
When the Sun Loves the Moon- Reinaeiry
prayer1- april27
Lightning Crashes- Live
Bite- Troye Sivan
Bloody Mary- Lady Gaga
Me and the Devil- Soap&Skin
Pheonix- Vylana, Laura Escude
Soarele si Luna- Pasha Parfeni
Posession of a Weapon- Ashnikko
In This Moment is a great band! Female lead heavy metal band. Their most recent albums have a "witchy" vibe to them ("Ritual" and "Mother"). But I highly recommend their entire discography. They're one of my favorites.
Honestly, most Beyoncé, Tina Turner, and Aretha Franklin songs are "witchy." Tthey have a particular cadence which allows you to entrance and speak into fruition.
A lot of Florence + the machine have witchy feels. They even have a song which witch. Mermaids is also very witchy, tbh, their albums dance fever, and ceremonials all have witchy feels. Daffodil from dance fever really sets my witch nerves tingling.
Stevie Nicks is a classic too. Literally anything by Stevie!
Check out Brave New World by Kalandra or City of the Dead by Eurielle. In the Kitchen by Mree is also a good one, but a much different vibe than the other two.
Saint Mesa
Edit: all of his music has that primal magickal energy in my opinion… but some of my personal faves are Wolf, Empire, Fire, Sunlit Grave, & Martyr (with vocals by Roniit, check out her song I Choose Me, pretty witchy as well)
Cult of Dionysus by The Orion Experience
Hurricane by Cannons
Wights by Osi & the Jupiter
ANYTHING by Peter Gundry, pick your vibe
Amanti, I like the songs Pythia & Invicta the most
& the band Alcest, a French band, beyond gorgeous music.
https://youtu.be/BjUV-byB8ls?si=GAaVPvQDRKAPOfKX
Witchiest song I know. (I mean, it’s not strictly a witchy song, the name translates to “shake your bacon” but I always associate it with Walpurgis so to me it is witchy).
I just imagine a whole bunch of witches shakin’ their bacon around a cauldron and I love it. Here’s a version with the English translation of lyrics if you like
https://youtu.be/DVJBnmVbH5E?si=jjEaQ9_NvIzJFJh-
Any of Purity Rings songs
Venus in Furs by The Velvet Underground but i'm partial to the cover by Angie myself
Moira by SUN EATER goes so incredibly hard if you like hardcore/metal
Vultures by Ethel Cain
The entire Mildred album by Grim Salvo
Incitatus by BirdEatsBaby
The Fine Art of Poisoning by Jill Tracy
The Astronomer by Vermillion Lies
Dark Town Sally by Amoree Lovell

Black Magic - Little Mix
What You Need (Sped Up Version) - Ashley Sienna
Two more to add to the stew pot!
Abracadabra by Qveen Herby and Elements by Chinchilla! This is my personal “Your Witch is Showing” playlist
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/395IVv5Oax47mRjkZzmrt1?si=oMOcmI78TrSbfFZR-VWUoQ&pi=u-qQMa9qidRnCH
So many! So these exact ones-
I am not a woman I’m a god by Halsey
Lighthouse Halsey
Rage by Samantha Margret
Witch Hunt by Chandler Leighton
Martyr by King Mala
Medusa by Kaia Jette
Kiki Rockwell has so many options that all bring the vibe. Florence and the machine is incredible. Most of Paris Paloma’s discography but labour, the fruit, and as good a reason are my faves. Sleep Token. Loreena Mckennit.
Spotify generated this playlist as “witchcore” for me lol. I’m still editing but it’s long so there are a lot of options
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3dukQjuvMiYLfoY0N3oj0S?si=zVOo8kicRqW_GBuxgcB4-Q&pi=u-Sx_uD0-FRM6b
I think she got cancelled a few years ago but, Eartheater has serious witchy vibes to her songs. I feel so inspired when I listen to her music. Not just for witchcraft but for my art projects too.
There’s something very witchy for me about the Mediæval Bæbes’ first three albums. I mean, it’s a lot of traditional medieval songs with religious or romantic themes, but they just have such powerful maiden energy!
"A Misty Twilight Lotus that Rises from the River" is my go-to for witchy vibes. Faun - Unda is amazing, and anything from Loreena McKennitt is also a vibe <3
i have a whole playlist! here are some of my favorites:
shake off your flesh - the huntress and holder of hands
wild eyes - mariee sioux
this too shall pass - danny schmidt
the waves we give - beautiful chorus
Feminine Energy by COBRAH maybe?? It’s like all bass, I love listening to it while driving😭 Also, Lola Blanc might have a few that would spike your interest!
I assume you follow Eurovision as you listen to Doomsday Blue, but if not, Go_A has an excellent sound and their song "SHUM" has a witchy vibe.
Raiven's song "Veronika" this year is about the first woman accused of witchcraft in Slovenia, sentenced to drowning.
Outside of Eurovision, [IC3PEAK](https://youtu.be/MBG3Gdt5OGs?si=a8jxfAQcoK4RtoNa) is a Russian artist with a similar "sweet, but dark" style.
I'd recommend zheani instead! Die Antwoord has a very shady history of abuse etc. Zheani was actually involved with and mistreated by them. Her song Whore of Babylon is really good if you're into heavier stuff and she has lots of other good songs!
-there are SO many more but I thought I'd toss in some that I don't see already here.
The Killing Moon- Echo and the Bunnymen
Beechwood Park- The Zombies
Time in a Bottle- Jim Croce
Circle of Steel- Gordon Lightfoot
Time Will Tell- Wizards (1977) Soundtrack
Four Seasons in One Day- Crowded House
Cuckoo- Moonsrise Kingdom Soundtrack
While My Guitar Gently Weeps- Across the Universe Soundtrack (this version just evokes *such* a mood)
*Into The Night* ,the loading screen music from the visual novel *Fate Stay/Night* has a nice spooky, mystical, magical feel. One Youtuber made a video with it on a 14 minute loop. [Into The Night-Fate Stay/Night](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4xsfkhcw-A)
I love Delta Ray (Rae?). The Beast and Bottom of the River are my favorite. If you watch the music videos, you’ll see they’re very witchy. I think the lead singer is Wiccan? Not sure, but she is a practicing witch.
My mother told me
One day I would buy
Galleys with good oars
And sails to distant shores
Stand High up on the prow
Noble barque I steer
Steady course for the havens
Hew many foe-man
https://open.spotify.com/track/5QoMq0a8f0jK4n5RTmWXxF?si=meod5CMBQoOvLa9EPcQIlA
As requested, I've created a playlist of the songs in this comment thread.
[Here's the link!](http://open.spotify.com/playlist/0ffXOUTqD3rbwKpB4KnBHT)
Note: I am a bot
Faith and the Muse - Chorus of the Furies. Actually most of the tracks in Evidence of Heaven album are pretty witchy.
CLANN's entire Kin Fable album
Florence + the Machine - Seven Devils
Anything by Eivor, especially "I Tokuni”
Ibeyi - Oya
DakhaBrakha - Na Dobranich
Green Lung are a band that specializes in this. Very doom metal/Black Sabbath sounding. Every album is amazing and is all inspired by green man and witchcraft. My favorite is The Forest Church, but id give the album Woodland Rites or This Heathen Land a listen to get a more general vibe of them! 💚
Justyna Steczkowska is so good some of her songs are inspired by esoteric/occult culture i really recommend „Witch-er tarohoro” (song based on Polish slavic paganism *fun fact Justyna wanted to take this song to Eurovision a lot of Poles wanted that too but our christian juries were like „this is satanic”* Justyna is also about to make album to follow up witcher so stay tune) and „Dziewczyna szamana” is really great song too with some shamanic vibes
What a fantastic variety of music. "powerful witchy feeling" gave freedom for a lot of atmospheric offerings. As someone that prefers music which catches the essence as opposed to straight up "witchcraft gospel" this has been a rare treat.
[Tones on Tail Burning Skies](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xnUUaFajXw)
*I love you like you love me not*
I'll avoid ones other people have mentioned. Don't think I saw these though. Dessumiis Luge by Eluveitie has lyrics from an actual Gaulish curse tablet. Was a curse upon Roman leadership at the time if I remember right. There's Black Magic by Magic Wands. The Devil's Courtship by Battlefield Band has a very magical feel for me. Parts of it sound magical or like a spell. Also the band Snow Ghosts. I've really enjoyed their most recent album, The Fell. There's also Cernunnos by Faith and the Muse which is from his perspective, and another Faith and the Muse song Annwyn Beneath the Waves.
Edit: Oh yeah, a lot of songs from Hexvessel too. Invocation Summoning and I Am the Ritual are a couple of favorites with a particularly magical feel, but I love a lot of their stuff.
Idk if anyone has said this one yet, but "notre dame" by Paris Paloma is such a beautifu song. It would be a song definetly great for mbackground music while engaging in a working.
Seeing Cher in the list brought to mind soundtracks like The Witches of Eastwick.
And a song related to a cautionary tale regarding costs associated with withholding acknowledgment
Once Upon A Dream - Lana Del Rey
**Elemental** - *Opus III*
Panic Wrought
Worlock(Skinny Puppy cover)
Heathen (Witch's Hammer)

Allison Mosshart was my stage presence inspiration for many years
Everything she does is so distinctively hers. She's just amazing.

As requested, I've created a playlist of the songs in this comment thread. [Here's the link!](http://open.spotify.com/playlist/0ffXOUTqD3rbwKpB4KnBHT) Note: I am a bot
Venus - Lady Gaga It has a beautiful energy.
Faith and the Muse - Chorus of the Furies. Actually most of the tracks in Evidence of Heaven album are pretty witchy. CLANN's entire Kin Fable album Florence + the Machine - Seven Devils Anything by Eivor, especially "I Tokuni” Ibeyi - Oya DakhaBrakha - Na Dobranich
Despójame by the Orishas and watch the music video!
Here's a playlist of witchy songs by Irish artists https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2Z8vq9MxoGkzpisomQ3n2b?si=HPjYAUVqROa-U1iJ406ACg
Daya Dova- the seven sisters for more pagan Greenwich vibes but Heilung (as many else have mentioned) or Danheim for deep Viking earthy things
I listen to Clann during spiritual baths. Heilung is great for building intent. Ramsey for dirty sultry, great for solo SX magic.
What a fantastic variety of music. "powerful witchy feeling" gave freedom for a lot of atmospheric offerings. As someone that prefers music which catches the essence as opposed to straight up "witchcraft gospel" this has been a rare treat. [Tones on Tail Burning Skies](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xnUUaFajXw) *I love you like you love me not*
Check out Wendy Rule and S.J. Tucker
The dreadful end of Marianna for sorcery by malinky

Seeing Cher in the list brought to mind soundtracks like The Witches of Eastwick. And a song related to a cautionary tale regarding costs associated with withholding acknowledgment Once Upon A Dream - Lana Del Rey
