The wizards tend to be the most bizarre, always thinking of weird spells like “Embody *[pop culture character]*”, or “Inflict Brain Scoliosis” or something with a name longer than you’d find in any anime, “Sign of the Moon-Sword-Mind, World of My design, Hippomonstrosesquipedaliophobia,and also upon thee, Bronzesteinschaffen!!”, yes that’s all one spell, didn’t even need to block line of sight! They took forever to begin it!
Well, 8 seconds, but easily more than enough time to cast Interrupt.
This is why we used to make wizards go on adventures as soon as they managed to prepare their first spell - so that this kind of student did not return.
See, this is why I think most of you are hiding a fairy dust problem. Why are so many of you teaching your apprentices to cast Fireball? I don't trust apprentices to scratch their own orbs with a wand, let alone pyromancy.
Listen if you lot can't keep your scrolls away we're 100% going to read them while doing the daily sweeping
certainly don't get paid enough for all this grunt work

Yup… first thing they learn after firebolt. The university I’ve been working at part time recently has some pretty wacky students.

We did, they just copy pasted a bunch of their grandpa’s spells into one spell and expected it to work.
