VorpalSplade

I think it might be bad but it really depends

byxis505

they’d adapt to the explosions and become immune and then throw them back and then the others would become immune and then

The_Ditch_Wizard

I love Lamarckian sci-fi

Wardog_Razgriz30

I imagine the fishing markets would see a dip but nothing too serious.

The_Ditch_Wizard

Just write a program to roll 8 billion reflex saves, resolve the bombardment with linear algebra and a mostly empty 8 billion X 8 billion matrix.

Cyberwolfdelta9

Idk but the Orrin in Alpha Way got their homeworld bombarded by their own allies cause Coaltion forces breached their world and the Zarven (said allies) went fuck it nuke them and ignore the space orcs now the Orrin are stuck with their only recently Settled world

QuakeRanger

/uj I'm no expert on this but the top .001% will probably already have subterranean bunkers for this kind of scenario (maybe not the rocks though), unless government-approved programs take effect then it's very unlikely that any bunker made by the plebs will be able to stand up to 100 years of bombardment while being self-sustaining. The majority of the population dies off while the literal worst people in the universe get off scot-free, so add another 10,000 years to that bombardment to weed out the scum. /rj Indomitable human spirit catches the nukes and throws them back xd

Gloamforest-Wizard

Constant exposure gives 97% ward save and extreme adaptability at the cost of infertility, inability to trust outside of pre established tribes, extreme xenophobia, 8% reduced cognitive ability with increased amygdala size. Benefits only bestowed onto the few survivors who could adapt and infertility means extremely rugged and durable population that can only ever shrink.

CeruleanSky9

3 eyed fish, complete collapse of society. Nuclear powered 3 eyed trout take over the world.

Ruddi_Herring

I imagine it would affect the economy

TheEvilBlight

Dust clouds from a sufficiently persistent bombardment would create problems for plant life, then mass starvation. Otherwise a light bombardment will just be evaded by burrowing and hiding, /if/ food can be grown underground. You need direct hits or very powerful weaponry and a planet is a lot of real estate to hit. But, if the populace has no continuity plans you can wreck civilization nicely with bombardment and kill a lot of civilians at first and then more by starvation, but there will be small bands of survivors with varying degrees of technical proficiency

Malfuy

I think they would move underground, with all drawbacks that comes with

Satyr_Crusader

Well idk about everyone else but the trout population would be affected for sure

MoralConstraint

Do the people of the planet exercise their 2nd Amendment rights?

Zadder

Trouts would be fine thanks to their Indomitable Trout Spirit.

Fdocz

House prices would go up.

boogieboy03

I think the trouts will be fine
