I am reaching top 5-10 in shuffle for my spec and can barely reach glad, with my main team I’m at 2530 mmr and 2450 cr right now farming wins since 1 week.
From what I’m seeing you need a solid 2,7-2,8 in shuffle right now to somewhat compare it to 2,4 in 3s
I'd argue a lot of this is simply lack of consistent team, not necessarily skill. Finding people that aren't toxic and/or ragequit after a loss can be a burden for a proper 3s push.
Agree. If you're good enough to play regularly with R1's in shuffle there isn't reason why you can't get glad with the right team. Not playing a meta comp because of LFG is also a big factor. Put Venruki on a LFG mage war team and he'd probably struggle to get glad as well.
nah u/Southern-Weird2373 has got a point that people bad at normal 3s can climb absurdly high in shuffle just by parsing. At 2500 RSS I see people that I've helped get duelist in normal 3s
Right after the ret rework, I got 2.2k SS in about a week, not having stepped into an arena since Cata. I probably could have hit 2.4 if I put more time in, I just got sick of the queues.
My secret? Doing my PvE rotation and using cooldowns on my team when they got low.
That shit would get me laughed out of a 1600 lobby in 3s.
There's also people who are r1 in shuffle who are hardstuck 2200 in 3s. I played with a top 10 SP the other day and could see why he's still 2100 I'm 3s as sp.
Yea but keep in mind you can never rly compare
I’m playing non meta comp or at least we basically have no mirrors ever :D you are a Pres evoker which is probably best class for 3s right now just based on winrate on wowarenalogs
Are you 3s teammates also rank 5-10 in shuffle? I struggled getting glad last season but I was around rank 20 and my team mates were all around rank 100.
Ye same for me #3 in shuffle but my team and i cant Break 2250...
To be honest my mates are not nearly as high in shuffle but yeah its hard. 2400 in shuffle is super easy compared to 3s. I think i can get 2400 on every spec in like 2 weeks but glad...no way.
First of all, congrats!
I think glad is possible, but it depends on how much trouble you have atm at 2.1. From my previous experience, in terms of difficulty, 2.2k is a fairly big jump from 2.1k and 2.2-2.4k is a much more gradual change in terms of difficulty. If you are having a lot of trouble in the 2.1-2.2k range, then I'm going to say that your chances aren't very good.
Having consistent teammates on voice help a lot. And do be selective (but not overly so and limit your own options), but courteous.
Congrats! You can definitely still achieve glad but you'll need to find partners capable who are willing to grind it out and improve together. What comps do you enjoy for dev? We played dev/assass/hpriest and it is a pretty fun comp.
They might change this in tww, I heard they are going to let you get glad in solo shuffle, which would be amazing and they should allow it. It would be a good incentive for people to continue pushing after reaching 2400. I just hit 2400 in solo and stop because what's the point, no unlocks or good rewards.
40ish days left. Definitely doable. Do you have a team already lined up? Pugging is pretty right atm. Super low participation.
No, but I have like 4 people who are like 2200-2300 who i sometimes q with but i cant seem to break 2200. I REALLY want a team

Shuffle means absolutely nothing in terms of glad.
low key kinda tru
Not even lowkey. There's a whole lot of players above 2.6 In shuffle who are rival andys in 3s.

Not even in terms of rank? Everyone around rank 20 shuffle in my spec is a multiglad so I assumed it was an indicator of 3s potential.
There's also people who are r1 in shuffle who are hardstuck 2200 in 3s. I played with a top 10 SP the other day and could see why he's still 2100 I'm 3s as sp.
Thats good to know the comparison, thank you, ill try to reach that. Ive got a 51% wr so games are going consistently well
Yea but keep in mind you can never rly compare I’m playing non meta comp or at least we basically have no mirrors ever :D you are a Pres evoker which is probably best class for 3s right now just based on winrate on wowarenalogs

Ofc it is. Keep grinding and don't let ppl hold u back!
Its 2024 lets not pretend like glad is an option anymore
This. When multi glads are struggling it's a waste of time. Brackets on life support.
gz brother, i played vs you on my tauren rdruid yesterday with 0 rating lol, i see you've been grinding
I want that glad!!

Oh im a pres hehe
Oooh my bad! I've seen a few people running pres/dev/dh and it seems pretty strong.
Ive tried that but with a ret instead of a DH, gets destroyed into splay unfortunately
Anything’s possible when your getting boosted
Did you do it as Pres? I got 2400 both as dps and heals this ssn in shuffle and it felt significantly different as a healer
Yes, i did it as pres
Just being realistic here, if you’re struggling to get 2,2 you’ll probably not gonna get glad, don’t let that stop you from trying tho.
You can't get glad in solo shuffle?
Gladiator titles are only for 3v3 rated arenas.

no devs said they wont change glad.
Only thing keeping 3s from completely dying, and it's just slowing the inevitable.
Long as I stay retired you can. Jk lmfao
