They took people and killed them by throwing them down mineshafts and then dropping granades after.

The war in the Balkans doesn’t get enough attention. Everyone knows about Japan and the Nazis in the eastern front, but the war crimes in the Balkans seem to be largely forgotten. It was brutal, religious war, ethnic cleansing, separatist movements all over. Ugly stuff
