i think that often....i feel they phased out splinter cell and reskinned it to make assassin's creed ....same mechanics imo.... then they mixed in far cry 3 elements.
chaos theory was a banging co-op.
Some of my fondest memories of gaming were co-op in Splinter Cell. Just way different than most of the running and gunning games I played at that time.
Chaos Theory was š¤š¤.
I'm honestly just letting the game take me where it takes me. And I've discovered so much variety, it's insane. I really wasn't expecting to see what I've seen in this DLC.
The wildest thing for me is how compact and condensed the region is. We were sold a Limgrave-sized region but it feels closer to either Liurnia or Limgrave+Caelid. And yet there's SO MUCH. So many unique areas, incredible vistas, and excellent iterations on ideas from the original
Yeah, absolutely. In terms of over all size it isn't massive. But it feels gigantic in terms of what I (now) know is out there to be explored. Mind blowing expansion.
I think what they nailed to a T is the verticality of the area. The map is gorgeous but doesn't detail the areas below the surface that you'd miss without exploring.
To that point, there were many spots I just saw from where I was that I wanted to find.
Overall yes, but nabbing those extra levels help round up to the levels needed for some of the new gear. I needed to up my dex for a couple of weapons.
It depends on what you're level towards. You can still make use of leveling other attributes that might allow you to use an ability that you think might be helpful.
But I'm not really worrying too much about leveling any further than I currently am at. I'm also not worrying too much about finding Scadutree Fragments before I do anything. I find them when I find them. And if something is difficult, well, that's the experience.
Same here. Been going for over a week now, close to 40 hours and I'm still amazed at the shit I'm coming across. This feels more like Elden Ring 1.5 then a dlc, no wonder it came out 2 years after the base game as they went all out on this.
I just started a new game and completely decked it out with mods (a vast majority of them are Star Wars lol) but itās honestly such a fun experience again
I left some achievements locked on the 360 so Iām finishing it up, after that I will do the 3 achievements left on the LE, finally I will finish Andromeda achievements. So yeah Iām doing all of them, but for now Iām on the 360 because the store is shutting down and see what I can buy from it.
I played the absolute tarnation out of ME1, I even read the books. ME2 I couldn't get enough of- I beat it and I kept going back in hopes there were more but I did everything I could do. I have yet to get very far in ME3. I've retried several times, I just always ended up quitting.
I don't think anything is wrong with it. I was dead single for ME1 and ME2. Once ME3 came around life happened, then a wife and kids, and college.
I do think series fatigue set in so I moved on pretty quickly. I'm definitely going to finish it one day.
Been playing the Gears franchise in anticipation for E-Day
Currently on GoW 3. Aside from that, I've been playing Diablo 4 on and off (haven't had the time to properly get into it) and Jedi: Fallen Order
I swap between Fortnite and Destiny 2. Fortnite for my dailies to get progress on the battle pass, then Destiny for the rest of what little free time I have.
No I'm not having fun, why would you ask that?
Im on Valhalla now which I thought I would hate more than any other AC due to the weird setting and me not liking vikings. Turns out its actually pretty great but its definitely the longest game ive ever played.
The scalpers got me. I wanted that Riffmaster but I have yet to receive the pre-order email....
I've got nothing but bad intentions for those scalpers.
Yes bro the rock band 4 controllers like the jaguar are plug and play! Itās pretty sweet, they are doing a whole season around metallica and they have one, fuel, master of puppets, ride the lighning wherever i may roam, lux aeterna from their new album, and maybe one or two others I canāt remember. Thereās also an A7X song, some Slipknot, also Billie Eilish, Juice Wrld, Olivia Rodrigo, Carry on my Wayward Son, it honestly has a really good song list and a great mix of all genres.
The only downside that I should warn you of is that it costs 500 Vbucks per song, which I think comes out to $5.00. A bit steep considering songs on Rock Band 4 are $2.00 a piece, but in Rock Band 4 all online players must own the DLC to play. Also there is no free rotation in Rock Band 4. In Fortnite, if you play online, you only need one member of the band to own a DLC song and everyone can play it. You can queue in to fill and it works super well, you always get 3 team mates and even if people leave early you can stay in. This is what I do, I donāt buy any songs but I just play online and Iāve played every songs. Recently almost every lobby itās all Metallica songs. Also, every week there is 10 songs that rotate that every can play free even in a solo lobby, normally even just jamming the 10 free songs each week is enough, especially considering you can do guitar, bass, drums, and vocal charts.
Also, the engine in Fortnite Festival could use some work. If you play on expert or hard and are used to rock band 4, you will notice yourself missing notes you would normally hit in rock band 4, fortniteās engine is super strict almost to a fault where it feels impossible that you miss certain notes. But to be honest I play on expert and itās not too persistent you can play around it but the engine is a bit wonky.
Wow that's amazing thanks for the info. I have absolutely no interest in buying their songs but I'll definitely check out the game. Man fortnite are the masters of microtransactions eh!
Never thought I'd play fortnite and here's me downloading it... 55gb... guess I'll test it tomorrow!
FFXIV launched on February 21 on Xbox and since then I have played that game for 31 days of playtime. I have never in my life been this hooked on a game. There are no longer other games. My back log is on hold.
The crazy thing , is that there is a base game and 5 big expansions. After all this time, I am still at the beginning of the FIRST expansion.
This game is peak gaming.
Diablo 4, only about two hours or so in but enjoying the game so far. Great visuals and like the world/lore. Returned back to Fortnite too and enjoying the new features and reloaded is a nice change.
A few things
Starfield
iRacing (finally got back to my PC after being away for almost 4 months)
NHL 24 on gamepass. I'm a sucker for player modes in that game
NCAA 14 to get myself prepped for CFB 25.
Been tinkering with retroarch too much so I came here for the ideas. Might give d4 another go and maybe get back into fallout 76 with the new expansion.
Just got back into Destiny 2 couple weeks ago for The Final Shape but also started Atlas Fallen last night. Binged all night for almost 10hrs straight. Ima bit tired at the moment...
I was thinking about this the other day. I bought the series S and realized that somehow I never felt like the performance was worse than the X, then I thought about the games I played and realized that I haven't played any game from exclusively this generation.
It's a game called MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE (yes it has all caps). It's based on the anime My Hero Academia (which I don't even watch anime) and it's a pretty fun game overall. It's a battle Royale and each character has different abilities and stuff. It's pretty neat
Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord
I've seen clips and screenshots from the first one for years now and saw the sequel on Game Pass and decided to give it a try. Will definitely be getting the DLCs after the main campaign!
Roboquest. Don't think I'll bother with 100% completion but so far I'm enjoying the grind to get as far as possible although I am starting to get burn out lol
PlayStation lol just bought one for my wife after not having a Sony console since the ps2 era. Just been catching up on what I missed. Wife and I have played some Diablo on gamepass though.
Destiny 2, but Iām about to reach the soft power cap and progressing past that requires LFGās, raids/content thatās incredibly time consuming or competitive PVP that I donāt have time or desire to get good enough to compete in.
Uh some games I beat this year were Yakuza 6/7/gaiden (maybe4- 5? Idk I beat 0-gaiden in like a year )
Gears of war 1(first time beating it)
Kotor 2(beat it)
The first character in kingdom hearts birth by sleep (there's
3)
Black ops 1 (yup beat it for the first time)
Metal gear rising (beat it)
I'm almost towards the last 'level" of South Park stick of truth right now
- XDefiant
- MW3
- Dragon Age Origins, excited for Veilguard l
- Gears UE, can't wait for Eday
- Assassin's Creed Black Flag, just finished watching Black Sails and felt like playing the best pirate game
I've been debating on getting back into Baulders Gate 3 and Starfield.
Splinter cell chaos theory šš»
I wish they dropped a new splinter cell already.
i think that often....i feel they phased out splinter cell and reskinned it to make assassin's creed ....same mechanics imo.... then they mixed in far cry 3 elements. chaos theory was a banging co-op.
Some of my fondest memories of gaming were co-op in Splinter Cell. Just way different than most of the running and gunning games I played at that time. Chaos Theory was š¤š¤.
Elden Ring DLC.
It's so good, but it's also forcing me back to the later parts of the game to stock up on runes.

Normal level donāt really help in the dlc other than health and stamina, itās all about those scadutree fragments
Overall yes, but nabbing those extra levels help round up to the levels needed for some of the new gear. I needed to up my dex for a couple of weapons.
It depends on what you're level towards. You can still make use of leveling other attributes that might allow you to use an ability that you think might be helpful. Simpsons hit and run
I wish it was backwards compatible
it is with Dev mode lol
Starfield. My opinion has changed dramatically since launch and I now have 300hours in my current playthrough š Awesome game
I'm thinking about returning to the game, never did finish it or even 20% of it when it first launched. Would you say it's in a better shape now?
The game was awesome from the start people just never gave it a chance.
Give it a month more or so. Just for the mods and creation tool offering more and more each day.
I have a dreadful internet connection so it will probably take another month to finish downloading :D
Iāve been in that same boat, I feel your pain. Lived in a rural area.
I had no problem with it at launch apart from learning powers was the same repetitive sequence every time. Did they fix that?
They didnāt āfix itā but you can mod it several different ways now.
I just started a new game and completely decked it out with mods (a vast majority of them are Star Wars lol) but itās honestly such a fun experience again
Both red dead games
Mass Effect Trilogy on Xbox 360.
Can't go wrong. May I ask, why not the Legendary Edition?
I left some achievements locked on the 360 so Iām finishing it up, after that I will do the 3 achievements left on the LE, finally I will finish Andromeda achievements. So yeah Iām doing all of them, but for now Iām on the 360 because the store is shutting down and see what I can buy from it.
I started 1 along time ago, didnāt get far. Jumped back in on the legendary edition and enjoying it so far.
I played the absolute tarnation out of ME1, I even read the books. ME2 I couldn't get enough of- I beat it and I kept going back in hopes there were more but I did everything I could do. I have yet to get very far in ME3. I've retried several times, I just always ended up quitting.
Why? Is ME3 not enjoyable? Or youāre just not feeling it? Or just breaking from gaming?
I don't think anything is wrong with it. I was dead single for ME1 and ME2. Once ME3 came around life happened, then a wife and kids, and college. I do think series fatigue set in so I moved on pretty quickly. I'm definitely going to finish it one day.

I've been there. https://preview.redd.it/c70lb36qdx9d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0112f3de05d4dbb62ef977b3e5039bb6b9734bdc

God damn am I going to have to download fortnite now?! I've got rb4 controllers can I hook it up and it just work?
Yes bro the rock band 4 controllers like the jaguar are plug and play!
