I've had this problem where my credits don't show up immediately. Restarting the Xbox can fix it. But you just might have to wait if it's not showing up automatically or in the section with your credit cards
Is your region set to united states on your console?
Try buying it with your browser on phone or pc and make sure, english - united states is choosen on the bottom left of the store page.
So I ended up just buying it without it showing anything but the total price being charged to my card. When I checked my bank statement later, however, I had paid the total minus $3.00. So apparently it accounted for the credit I had on my account, but it gave no indication that it was going to do so throughout the entire checkout process. Apparently that’s how it works? Just thought I should let everyone know.
hey bud, do you know if it's like this on microsoft store? i've got 5 bucks on my balance and i cant find a way to spend it, do i just use card and let it cover the expense automatically?
There should be an ‘Edit’ button when you’re checking out in the corner of the payment option section. Go to that and see if the option for the credit is there, select it and it will ask how you want to pay for the rest.
Buy something from the store. The balance will apply and you cover the remainder with a credit card
That’s what I thought but it’s not happening. Trying to something for $16, but the only options are my credit card or entering codes for gift cards
You only have $3 so you have to have a card, to cover the non covered amount
I do have a card on file. It just tells me that the entire price will be put on the card

I’m not sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the microsoft store worked the same way.

It’s not there. Just credit card, enter gift card code, PayPal, mobile phone
