I went size down = Medium. I'm 6'1 190lbs with wide shoulders and long-ass arms. Happy with this size.
ngl though, I own YGEBB hoodies in L and don't mind that fit neither. Don't think the differences are as dramatic as some ppl make them sound
What I LOVE about the Anorak is that IMO it looks great with only a t-shirt underneath too. Like it will retain most of its shape/silhouette. Someone on here claimed it would look sad without an oversized hoodie underneath. Can't confirm.

Nah, it's just cotton. A special weave of cotton, but 100% cotton nonetheless.
