Dope is not Hot Water exactly but Dope clearly evolved from it. This makes Hot Water redundant since he took the best ideas from that demo (Hot Water), built on them and turned them into a new song (Dope).
Michael Jackson did the same with Smooth Criminal. Before he wrote Smooth Criminal, he wrote two other demos with a similar theme that were never released. They only leaked after he died. They are not the same at all but contain similar ideas and sounds. He took the best elements from both of these tracks and turned them into the monster hit that Smooth Criminal was. One of these demos is called Al Capone. Compare it to Smooth Criminal. It's the exact same thing Yela did with Hot Water and Dope.

He shoots an entire episode worth of footage for this specific song on his Slumerican Life series and never releases the song… and then shoots an entire movie for Mudmouth and never releases it.. he’s like the king of self sabotage
