What's funny is that I can actually see IV ftking his fans.
I am starting to fear what they could do with vector especially considering how his boss monsters are other hot garbage (manipulator and chimera dragon are useless) or broken (Masquerade can negate activation of monster effects ie nib, hand rip and burn for 50% life points and king overfiend is basically onesided skilldrain)
Yeah, I just want them to remake the entire Deck for Vector. Like a Deck that can just combine Dragulas, with his Chimera Dragons, Masquerades and all his other Numbers into one. Maybe retrain his Numbers into "Masquerade" cards, while the Main Deck monsters are Umbral Horrors.
Vector is one of the best-written characters in all of yugioh and is one of the few characters where even after they get redeemed, you can never truly be sure about them. I'd love for any support to reflect this, being extremely non-linear with lots of diverging lines and a flexible endboard.
1 card ftk is craaaaaaaazy. Also it's done almost entirely using in-engine cards so this is basically saying this is what was intended to be done with this archetype lol
It does seem kinda easy to stop with most hand traps, but if you open no hand traps and they open the field then you're pretty much screwed lol. The deck seems like it can shift to a more control playstyle with the new trap and Fanatix' effect if it fails though, but IDK for sure, haven't tested them lol.
Honestly FTKing is 100% within Quattro's character so it fits, even if it's not fun to face...then again that's also within Quattro's character so uh...mission accomplished Konami?
Odd to say this, but good job to Konami for making it so that the support promotes the Archetype's unique thing instead of giving it a different game plan entirely. Done with ancient gears, now they do it to Gimmick Puppet as well.
I can't lie, Konami has been doing fantastic with anime support as of recently
Exodia, Yubel, Ancient Gears, Flame Swordsman and now Gimmick Puppets
Also that new Yugi deck is also looking hella unique and cool
Never in my wildest nightmares did I ever think Gimmick Puppet of all things would not only get support in 2024, and not only is all of it really good, but they can even FTK lmfao.
It supports their burn strategy by having the new cards summon monsters to your opponent’s field so you can pop them. The field spell makes all your Puppets immune to monster effects. They now have a 1 card FTK

c104 can only negate effects activated on the field, so it won't stop nib. still a strong card if it becomes readily accessible, though
