I think the first one looks really nostalgic classic like 90s coloring when coloring was more limited, but the 2nd one is better and feels more modern.
The first one though may fit the series better because it *is* itself a classic series, so I dunno.

Thanks for your opinion. I use the anime version as reference for colours and I think that it works great too but I wanted to experiment a bit 😁
