I totally understand where you are coming from, but I also do know people who hire cleaners just because they can and don’t want to clean themselves. Also she said it was $180 each time she cleans. She comes every other week. That would be $360 a month…no where near $800 unless I’m missing something
Agree 100%. I know she’s talked openly about her mental health struggles and the importance of having a clean space, but I’m sure there are many other people in that position who don’t have an extra $180 to pay a cleaner. It’s giving out of touch and lazy. Like dude change your own damn sheets and vacuum smh it doesn’t take that long. You have all the free time in the world! I don’t love or hate Zoe, I just think that all influencers are out of touch to an extent.
right!! and it’s like it would feel different if she were like “yeah i have other responsibilities i don’t post about, im more busy than it looks” or something but to be like yeah i have the time im just occasionally too depressed so i pre-emptively hire a cleaner in case im too anxious to wash my blankets…that just feels so absurd to me
Should she just lay in her filth when she’s feeling depressed because she can’t clean??? There’s nothing wrong with having a cleaning lady if she can afford it. Especially if she needs that extra help when she’s down. When I’m depressed I wish I can have someone clean for me because it gets to the point where I can’t but unfortunately I can’t afford to hire a cleaning lady. So I’m happy for her that she’s able to hire someone. I’m not gonna call her out on it just because I can’t afford it.
I mean imo if u can afford it go for it. It’s not out of touch if you are aware of how privileged u are and she seems to be aware that she is privileged. To me out of touch means bragging about the stuff then complaining about ur luxury stuff not going ur way or something.
