Tell me about it. I didn’t sign up for this kind of heat.
Wow, I'm very impressed for what i see guys, It's strange as fuck.
Maybe this anomaly warm heat in Northern Europe, is related with the climate change? 🤔
Here in some parts of Spain, the Summer started being anormally colder, that is what expected.
Maybe the gulf winds from the Atlantic, and her more presence, It's somewhat related.
I swear, I just moved to Tarragona for a couple of years and I'm confident it was my faul, because I brough the Asturian weather with me. Never though I'd see rain here and yet, there has been many days with abundant rain in just these two months.
And this even Tarragona isn't the rainiest part of Catalonia, It's a bit dry for the standards, compared to Girona more in the northeast.
Are you from Asturias? I have met quite a few Asturian people lately here in Catalonia who live here, I am beginning to suspect based on my doubts, that the Asturians bring their own climate here, so as not to suffer from so much heat. Hahaha
On the other hand, I'm not complaining in the slightest. I knew I was going to miss my beloved cool and rainy weather, so I feel more at ease with a bit of rain here and there hahaha. When it's sunny here, I'm already sweating buckets as soon as I put a foot on the street.
Strange?? My region has exactly the same climate as the British Isles but is rainier.
Look at the Atlantic shores. You'll see a pattern. That's your response.
This sub has become my mum. She loves nothing more than messaging me from back in the UK when it’s maybe 1 or 2 degrees difference to here where I live in Spain.
Good on ya mum, enjoy your 2mins of sun while it’s cloudy here for an hour.
Too bad it’s gonna last like two days and back to cold.
I’ve been so mad in nice where it was fucking +23 instead of +35-40 when I went there.
What kind of “south” is that?
The south anchored on the atlantic side.
If it were not for the strong anticyclone of the Azores, which becomes more present in summer, here would be a climate in some parts of Spain, more similar to the North of France or South of England, than for example Italy and Greece.
It is not unheard of. Spain has coasts both with the Atlantic ocean and the Mediterranean Sea (not like Poortugal), so many times, the winds from the Atlantic makes most of the peninsula colder than many would think, due to its latitude.
And, then, there are the Canary Islands... But that is a topic for another day.
Well It's not great all the time, except maybe the north coast of Spain, that has more mildered climate due to the atlantic. But this Summer is been strange here...

What is happening there? An atomic explosion?
They told East Germany would be grey and cold, not fucking Zanzibar.

Yeah. Getting worse every year.

It's always 14-19 here, it doesn't matter when you look.
Nice region to move out in Summer, except the Hellhole of Ourense xD.
dude...ourense kinda rocks
Not in the summer. It's like Sevilla but without the cool buildings
Yeah, in Winter with her thermal water sources that had.
Holy shit, 27°C in Murmansk. Russian are getting cooked not just in Ukraine, but even at home.
The arctic circle in absolute shambles.
Permafrost be like ![gif](giphy|5qVU89WbkXiWjHXdsg)
More like tempfrost
The thing is, it is not normal...
I study meteorology, and this isn't too uncommon. What is unusual are the temperature differences and the days per year that this happens.

Everything in red is basically Northern Tunisia.
Im goin to iceland PEACE
Yeah it’s a solid 4C in Skye today. Had to break out the thinner Aran Knits!

Eternal Spring! Some days with sun, other with storms. For the moment seems nice.

We will have 40 degrees in Spain in 4 days. 😅
Well in Andalusia yes xD.
Sorry Spain I decided you didn't need the heat this year and sent all of it further North.
Okay take it back to Spain and the roo won't get hurt
Eh... I have spare roos. Make something nice out of it.

Let's take a moment of silence for the Icelanders 🔥 those fuckers are melting along with their igloos.
7 in granada-ish?
I think this part corresponds to the highest peak of the mountain Sierra Nevada. That has like +2000 meters or more high.
Why are all the pleasant temperatures listed in red? And cold in yellow? Anything under purple is fine! Just an average day mate.
Yes, so pleasant in Lisbon right now. The weather gods have answered of my prayers. 🤞 to lasting aaaaall summer long.
30°C is average to cool in summer here, stfu you fucking casul
How the fuck is Madrid 16 degrees in the summer? That shouldn’t be thermodynamically possible. We had like 30 degrees here in Stockholm the other day.
we have a bearable summer for once, and even some water has fallen from the sky (I don't remember the name of that rare meteorological phenomenon)

And the rest of Central and Eastern europe, the Super-Hyper cold europe in winter season, it getting cocked now.

Also, thanks for converting the Angles, Saxons and Jutes. You guys clearly brought your protection to England. Praise Woden!!

You don't have the nice mountains that we had, The Pyreenes and the Cantabrian mountain range. 🤷🏻

What the fuck is happening here
I really, really, absolutely fucking hate summer
Me too! If i can choose, i prefer an Eternal Spring.
Business as usual.
Ew, spain should be good right now not this
Well It's not great all the time, except maybe the north coast of Spain, that has more mildered climate due to the atlantic. But this Summer is been strange here...
Fucking fuming I'm going to Spain next week
Depends, if you go to the south to Seville, yo're gona to be roasted. Like a barbecue sauce roasted beef.
I need a hoodie here, it’s like winter
Shitty weather for summer time in the Western Balkans right now...
But Portugal are not milder in temperatures?
It is, but this june temperatures seem to be below the average. And it has been more rainy and cloudy than the usual.
Well it is good in part, after this past years of extreme hot and drought emergency.
I used to think that was hot. I got sunburnt two days ago while slathered in factor 50. It is fine lads, you will manage.
They coloured +22⁰C red lol
