I don’t think they were wrong or lied in a way. The way they stated everything could definitely be true but it’s never a direct answer. Like the connection between Final Episode and the MV can mean that Yams will form a connection between the final episode and the MV when AOE happens in a manga format or it could mean that the final episode we did have really isn’t the Final episode. And the True Final episode will connect with the MV. So what their statements don’t give us a lot of details. Just hope
