Yeah, this sounds like the sort of thing you'd see on black Xitter. Along the lines of "why are we always tearing each other down because someone got a raise when you know yt is buying his son an Ivy League education."
Like, there's certainly a bit of internalized racism there but it's also intended as self-criticism by people in the community about others in the community. It doesn't read as an external attack by someone outside the community.
Actual white supremacists wouldn't have drawn the white characters like that, grievance is too big a part of their ideology so the white dude would instead be drawn as being pulled down by a black dude, a rabbi and a guy in a sombrero.
They’re both racist this isn’t the gotcha you think it is. Generalizing a whole race to stereotype them is racism regardless of who made it. Are you slow?
This is clearly just a weird gay orgy. The guy on the left is preparing to eat the other one's ass, while there's some fingering going on on the right.
Don't know why there's a tree involved though.
The black man is shitting in the other black man’s mouth but the white man is closing the other white man’s ass with his hands so he doesn’t do that. Hope it helps :)
It can be interpreted as "black people need to get nerfed and white people need to get buffed for them to be equally as good", which is also racism btw
But they're right. It took me a second to notice, but the black person on the ground is pulling the black person down off the tree, and the white person on the ground is lifting the other white person up. Saying white people help each other and black people hinder each other. It's blatantly racist.
If the artist is black, then I would say they have a commentary of a similar sentiment, whether it is based on internalized racism or an anecdotal trend they see in their own community. Or even a caricature of how the white man sees them. But I would hope they would provide more context for their own work than "this deep but sum yall don see it" because of the very clear implications it has otherwise
That’s the literal, obvious point of this comic. It’s a racist comic that the poster thinks is being deep and subtle. When it’s not. It’s just a comic that is by a racist edition for racist idiots. And people who can’t see that are useful idiots to those racist idiots.
I know that often in “the black community” those who want to succeed are ostracized. It’s said they’re acting “white”. There’s a sense that to chase success is to act white and betray your roots.
White people on the other hand, will push one another to excel
I think it has more to do with class and education than with race. Plenty of trashy, uneducated white people will ostracize ambitious people saying “you think you’re better than me” and other bullshit.
Hell, that's the source of a lot of white racism.
"You want EQUAL RIGHTS TO ME?! What, do you think you're better than me or something?!"
Dumb assholes gonna be dumb assholes regardless of which race they are, I guess.
It’s a critique of black culture where when 1 is doing better the rest will pull that person back down. It’s especially obvious in school settings where if a black child isn’t a stereotypical black kid he’s “acting white”, you've probably seen the really smart black kid get teased by other black kids.
I get the racism, but I have a better interpretation. Upper guy on the left is anchoring himself so the guy below him can get up too, while guy on the upper right is letting his guy on the bottom prop him up. Something something working class propping up the elites, eat the rich etc.
Maybe the black guys are doing a leap frog technique where one climbs up then the other climbs over the first guy and then the first guy climbs up the second
So...honest questions from a white guy. No agenda or anything. I just am looking for qualified answers:
1. What do PoC think of this illustration?
2. At what point does it stop being labeled as racism *if* it's an established problem that needs to be identified in order to try to address it?
Your post was removed because it depicts intentional racism.
Why is the white guy shoving his finger into the other white man’s ass?
Motivation
👍🏻
🍑 👍
Motivation to stay, cuz I ain’t leaving til he’s done 🤷
Homie.
Isn't that what all white men do for eachother or have I been tricked by the movies again?
[удалено]
so we're just ignoring blatant sarcasm now?
So we're just we're justing now?
We're justing
Just
Ju
This dude needs more fingers in his ass.
Y’all treating my boy like a bowling ball
Don't judge an asshole until you've stuck your finger in it
So he can spin them like a basketball.
I think the black guy in the ground is trying to save his friend from whatever the fuck is happening on the other side of the tree.
And groping with the other hand
Why is everyone under the assumption that a white person drew this?

I don’t see anyone making that assumption.
Is it a racist depiction if a black person drew it?
Yes you can be racist to your own people
Do you think a black person saying that black folks hold each other back while white folks lift each other up is racist?
Do you think a white person saying that is racist?
Answer my question first.
They’re both racist this isn’t the gotcha you think it is. Generalizing a whole race to stereotype them is racism regardless of who made it. Are you slow?
Black dudes pulling him down, white dude is pushing up
Yeah so how is this Accidental Racism? Doesn’t look accidental
This is clearly just a weird gay orgy. The guy on the left is preparing to eat the other one's ass, while there's some fingering going on on the right. Don't know why there's a tree involved though.
They’re hippies
The black man is shitting in the other black man’s mouth but the white man is closing the other white man’s ass with his hands so he doesn’t do that. Hope it helps :)
"Black people [do bad thing] and white people [do good thing]" isn't really accidental racism, that's straight up racism
It can be interpreted as "black people need to get nerfed and white people need to get buffed for them to be equally as good", which is also racism btw
It's supporting one another or pulling one another down. It's somewhat accurate. He was probably calling the climber a sellout
That's a wild interpretation of this comic. Talk about overgeneralization.
But they're right. It took me a second to notice, but the black person on the ground is pulling the black person down off the tree, and the white person on the ground is lifting the other white person up. Saying white people help each other and black people hinder each other. It's blatantly racist.

Yeah, we've never heard white people complain about "coastal elites" or anything like that. White people always celebrate others' success. Right?
Crabs in a bucket

“get down from that tree” vs “i’m gonna grab his ass lmao”
White guy is opening that b-hole with both hands
I read it as the black dude doesn’t want his friend in the tree cause they have a history of being in trees
Wut?
I get the racism, but I have a better interpretation. Upper guy on the left is anchoring himself so the guy below him can get up too, while guy on the upper right is letting his guy on the bottom prop him up. Something something working class propping up the elites, eat the rich etc.
Fisting vs rimming, the final battle
Judging by the head shape alone I’m gonna say that aliens prefer probing white people
Dude on the left is pulling his buddy right up that tree, right side said, "Nah"
I too like a hand in my ass when climbing
I think it's saying white people grab butts more.
Guy on the left is s really good climber and helping his friend up where the ones on the right only one succeeds
Accidental?
Yes but it's not accidental. This is just regular ol, intentional racism
I don't think it's accidental...
I get it, it's just a dumb depiction.
Maybe the black guys are doing a leap frog technique where one climbs up then the other climbs over the first guy and then the first guy climbs up the second

This isn't even accidental. This is just the creators racism

Black person pulls up the other black behind him. The white person just pushes up the other white person. At least that is what i see.
Yes, today everything is racism. *eyes rolling*
Why did the commenter say this? Are they stupid?
I literally thought it was a depiction of a gay orgy or something. And yes, other commenters are right. This is straight up racism.
Only racist if you see skin color.
Black dudes are...stronger...
